I stared out fearfully at the obstacle course below me filled with fire, rolling boulders and ravious animals. I'm going to die aren't I?

"Relax new guy" Adam wrapped his arm around me "you'll be fine. You got a couple of badasses like us on your team"

"You really believe you can beat your spouses?" I gave them a sceptical look.

"Don't let our looks desive you" Lilith smirked "what we lack in strength we make up for in intellect or in Adams case dumb luck"

"Hey!" He shot her a hurt look.

"So how about you start using your head and stop being a debbie downer" she poked my forehead.

"Hey guys!" Eve waved as she led over a girl with gray hair "seeing as we're missing a member I thought vaggie could join our team. I mean she'll eventually join the family right"

"If everything goes well then yes" she nodded happily.

"Alright team dick and pussy slayers are going to fuck shit up!"

"We're not calling our team that Adam" Lilith gave him a disapproving look.

"Well what would you call it bitch" he glared at her.

"Team in-laws?" Eve suggested.

"Yeah we can go with that" we all nodded in agreement.

"You guys are so fucking unoriginal" Adam groaned as we dragged him away.

We stood at the starting line, preparing to run against the gods and hopefully win. For the sake of my throne I had to win.

"You ready new guy" Adam winked at me.

I looked up at Lucifer who was watching me with an excited look on his face "ready!"

*Time skip*

"Do it alastor!"

"It's all up to you!"

"Run motherfucker!"

I sprinted off as I avoided every death trap that came my way. By some miracle I reached the finish line.

"You did it!" Lucifer flew into my arms "that was the most amazing thing I've ever seen!"

"Ah so you enjoy having me fight for you" I shook my head, feeling breathless. He giggled against my chest. I held him close with a sigh.
