Lucifers pov

"There you are my sweet babies" I soothed the flowers back to life "I'm sorry I left you in such a state. I'll do my best to no longer neglect you"

"Lucifer" I spun around to see Michael standing there in shocked silence.

Oh boy "hey Michael-" I was cut off by him pulling me into a hug. I let out a surprise yelp. I can't remember the last time he hugged me!

"You're alright" he stroked my hair gently "thank the gods. We all feared the worst"

"Micky I'm fine" I giggled against his chest.

"Yes I can see that now" he pulled away with a stern look. Yep there he is! "I should have known you were out causing trouble"

"I wasn't causing trouble" I pulled away from him "I had a good reason for being away"

He caught sight of my ring and grabbed me by the wrist "what is this?" he asked.

"That's my very good reason" I said brightly "I got engaged!"

"What!?" His face twisted in shock.

"Yeah I know I should have told you but I was upset so I didn't" I looked away embarrassed.

"Lucifer" he placed his hands on his shoulders with a face like thunder "who was it that proposed to you?"

"I would tell you but I'm afraid you might kill him" I laughed nervously.

"I can't believe this" he ran a stressed hand through his hair "come on Luci we're going home"

"Okay but I should tell him fir-"

"Now Lucifer!" He grabbed my hand and dragged me away before I could protest.

*Time skip*

"Daddy" I flew into his arms. It's been so long since I've seen him.

"Luci" he picked me up and spun me around "thank the gods your safe. Where have you been child?"

"Well-"

"He got engaged father" Michael cut him off.

"Michael I wanted to tell him!" I pouted. Way to steal my thunder jerk!

"You're engaged!?" Thunder clouds grew over the skies. Oh gosh he's angry.

"I'm sorry daddy" I looked at my hand nervously "I should have told you but everyone was so dismissive of me. I was afraid of them saying no"

"I see" he bent down and petted my head "well regardless I'm happy to have you back my child"

"Well I moved in with my fiancée so I actually have to go back to him" I strached my head nervously.

"You want!?" He yelled as thunder struck behind us. I yelped at the sudden noise.

"Lucifer you should at least stay for dinner" Raphael placed his hands on my shoulders "we've all missed you"

"I guess that would be okay" I nodded.

"Good boy" he smiled at me "now go visit Charlie. She's been worried sick about you"

"Right" I turned around and ran out, looking for my baby sister.

Raphael's pov

"This is a nightmare" father paced around nervously "Lucifer has gotten engaged to someone we know nothing about" we looked over at Lucifer who was showing off his ring to Charlie. He turned to me with fury in his several eyes "this is all your fault! If you boys hadn't upset him then he wouldn't have been in a position to be manipulated"

"Yes this is an unfortunate turn of events" I muttered "but there's still time to talk sense into him"

"Your brother's far too stubborn for that" he shook his head "what we need to do is get information on this guy. We can deal with things from there"

"Yes father" I nodded as me and my brother's left. Now to come up with a game plan.
