Alastors pov

"Do you really expect me to eat this!?" Lucifer stared down at the dead deer in disgust. It was our first breakfast together and he was less than impressed.

"What's wrong with it?" I smiled innocently.

"Are you blind! It's rotting and drippy and-" he covered his mouth, looking ready to throw up.

"Alright I've had my fun" I clapped my hands, making my maid nifty appear with a stack of pancakes "is this more to your liking?"

"You are such a jerk!" He munched on his pancakes angrily. I chuckled softly. It's so much fun pushing his buttons.

"Alastor" vox appeared behind me.

"Do you mind?" I gave him an annoyed look "Me and my fiancée are trying to enjoy breakfast"

"I'm here to deliver a message from the overlords asshat" he growled.

"Speaking of my fiancée have you apologised to him yet" I shot him a smug look.

"I'm not apologising to your little boy toy!" He shrunk down at Vox's insult. I growled at his sexual insinuation. Disgusting bastard!

"It's okay Al. You don't have to get mad on my behalf" he took my hand with a gentle smile.

This action seemed to only piss vox off further "the earth is dying without Mr sunshine and flowers to keep everything green"

"Really?" Lucifer gasped "I wasn't aware my work was that important"

"Well you don't seem very bright blondy. I guess being cute is all you've got going for you" he laughed.

He whimpered softly. I placed my hands on his shoulders "what is your point vox?" I glared at him.

"Well obviously blondy has to go back to the surface and do his job so less mortals die and we don't become overwhelmed" he folded his arms.

"Okay I'll go right away" he nodded.

"Wait!" I grabbed his hand "you should have protection"

"Nah I'll be fine" he dismissed me "I'll be back in a jiffy. Wait up for me okay" he gave me a hug before running off.

I ran a hand over my face. I have a bad feeling about this.
