Lucifers pov

"Gah I hate this!" I paced back and forth, trying to shake off my nervous energy "I should tell him. It's not like he would care. We were planning for a baby anyway but this is too soon. If I tell him it would all feel too real.

"Everything alright short king?" angel poked his head through the door.

"No" tears ran down my cheeks as I hiccuped.

"Hey hey easy baby" he rubbed my shoulders "take a deep breath ok"

"Ok" I hiccuped as I wiped my tears away.

"Good boy" he petted my head with a gentle smile "now what's gotcha so upset?"

I took a deep breath. I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell someone "I found out I was pregnant"

"Oh fuck" he stepped back in shock.

I teared up "I'm scared. This is all happening so fast and I don't know how to cope" I gripped my hair anxiously.

"Hey hey it's alright" he gently pulled my hands away. I ran into his chest, crying "shh it's alright baby" he stroked my hair soothingly "you're going to be alright. A kind and gentle soul like you are going to kick ass at parenting"

"Really?" I looked up at him with wet eyes.

"Really" he wiped my tears away "have you told alastor?"

"I'm not ready to tell him" I whispered.

"That's always baby. You take your time" he petted my head before walking away.

I slapped my cheeks. Get it together Luci! This is happening whether you like it or not. It's time to get prepared.
