finding him by the fountain
Alastors pov
I headed down to the hallway looking for the blonde god. Where on earth did that boy run off to? Luckily I found him sitting on the fountain looking sad.
"Alastor" he looked up at me before turning away guiltily "I'm sorry. I've never been good at confrontation"
"It's alright" I bent down to his level "your little freak out actually helped. It made it easier to dismiss Vox's claims. He'll be apologising to you later"
"You stood up for me?" His eyes sparkled.
"Don't look into it. It'd be suspicious if I didn't defend my fiancée" I shrugged.
"Of course. I shouldn't have expected you to do something nice, you stuck up jerk!" he folded his arms.
"Enough pouting" I flicked his forehead "we need to discuss your role as my future spouse"
"Okay" he rubbed his forehead with teary eyes.
"First things first I'll have to disclose that you'll be expected to birth my children"
"What!" He gasped.
I leaned forward "don't look so worried. I don't enjoy sex so we'll only be having one child"
"Okay" he nodded nervously "alastor do you think I'd make a good mother?"
"Oh" his question threw me off a little "I'm sure you'd be a fine parent yes"
"Thank goodness" he breathed a sigh of relief "so what else do I need to know?"
"Well everything else is straightforward. You'll be in charge of raising our child and maintaining the role of the perfect spouse"
"Is that it?" he looked disappointed. It strangely made me feel kinda bad.
"I suppose you can also have a say in any big decisions I make"
"Really!?" He leaned forward, his eyes sparkling with excitement. His enfusiasum is endearing I suppose.
"Yes but final decisions will be up to me"
"Okay" he suddenly grabbed my hand "this is my new home right? So you should show me around!"
"I suppose you'd need to know where you're going" I muttered to myself "very well. Follow me"
