Chapter Twelve
I don't know how long I had been sitting there but I knew they would be here soon, Springtrap wasn't one to simply leave unfinished business unattended or those he relied on alone to suffer. Most of my remaining power focused on healing my wound to try and prevent them from finding me, the sound of metal crashing against the hard floor somewhere in this building only made my fears deepen. I struggled against the chains once more as Ashton entered the room with a smirk, he knelt down before me and I looked away not wishing for his face to be one of the last I saw.
"They're here my dear, don't worry, you will be long gone soon enough, too bad really, you could have made such a fine asset to our army, really, such a shame," Ashton sighed as he stood again, grabbing the tubes he melted away into the shadows. Within seconds the door to the room broke down and I felt tears coming to my eyes when I noticed the horrible gash on Springtrap's chest, he raced over to me and skidded on his knees as he tugged at the chains.
"Springtrap you have to go!" I pleaded behind my fears, he gave me a glare and said nothing as he tried to find some way to break me free. The glint of glass in the soft light made me freeze, noticing this Springtrap turned moments before Ashton slammed the sharp end of the tube into his shoulder causing Springtrap to cry out in pain. With a dark chuckle Ashton stepped back and watched as the fragment took its toll on the confused animatronic, I wanted nothing more than to get free of these chains and protect the one I cared so much about but despite my best efforts I was stuck.
"You know what to do Springtrap, kill her, make her suffer the same pain she caused you," Ashton encouraged as the dark golden animatronic tried to stay in control.
The sound of pained screams filled the air as I sat tied up in those strange chains I had wanted so badly to destroy, he knelt inches away from me with an evil smirk plastered on his face. Fear was all that I could feel as he stood and turned and reached for something that sat dangerously on the metal table nearby, a ripple of pain through my shoulder told me someone had hurt her. He caught onto this and turned, as he began to walk closer I tensed up and closed my eyes preparing for pain but when it never came I opened my eyes and noticed him sitting beside me.
"It is simply sad that you brought me to do this my dear, if only you hadn't done what you did and he wouldn't have allowed me to take over his mind, now it's my turn to break everyone around you, say goodbye to your precious family," he chuckled as he stood again an axe held tightly in his hands, I looked up at him with fear in my eyes as he lifted it high above his head. Suddenly he threw it to the side as he slammed his head agains the wall and fell to his knees beside me, cautiously I managed to reach my hand and touch his face gently. He tensed up a turned to look at me and froze, he seemed to be fighting many battles inside his mind.
"Don't let him control you," I pleaded softly, suddenly his expression changed from one of confusion to one of pure amusement.
"He's long gone Puppet, face it, now where was I? Oh right," he chuckled as he grabbed the axe yet again and stood tall, I could see he was too far gone and I sat there knowing this was my fate. He lifted the axe high and without another thought swung downwards, the last thing I heard were the screams of agony before pain rippled through my body and everything went black.

Opening my eyes I looked down at my broken body, my soul floated absently above it as Ashton closed in. I noticed Springtrap had been knocked out completely and it hurt to see him in such a state, turning his head to the side Ashton locked eyes with my own and a smirk formed on his face as he grabbed my soul. I felt a burning pain in my chest as he squeezed it gently and this seemed to make him chuckle, I couldn't move on like the others could which only caused me pain I couldn't prevent. He soon stopped his little game and stood almost lost for what to do, the thought of Chanda made me race away to try and find her. Coming to a stop I found her unconscious on the floor with the others around her confused and scared, I knelt down beside her very much aware she wouldn't wake up from her state of slumber unless my body mended itself and my soul was put back. Closing my eyes I let my tears fall without a fuss, even as a sort of ghost I could still cry. When I opened my eyes I noticed her chest and my own chest began to glow, slowly she opened her eyes but I could see she was weak and in this state she couldn't even move. Anger began to flare in my chest, this had gone too far and I was going to stop Ashton in his tracks. Heading back to where I had last seen him I noticed he was still looking over his proudly done work, looking to my right I noticed Nightmarione staring at our once shared body with pure shock.
"Nightmarione I need your help more than ever," I pleaded, her gaze shifted to me and she nodded as anger crossed her face.
"We are one, one are we," she vowed as we placed our hands over the others chest where our soul once sat, in a flash of light our soul vanished from Ashton's hands which caused him to look over to us in pure confusion. Despite the pain it was bringing me I began to erase all memories of myself from everyone's minds as well as memories of my past in my own soul, if no one knew I had ever existed no one could harm me or those around me. With a screech of pain the world erupted in a white light, my life would start over and everyone else would live on better than when I had ever caused them harm.
