A/N: Credits got to KingDiscord. Also, I don't own anything.

Enjoy!

*insert USTO opening

1 hour till 2nd wave

USAF base, Guam

An's POV:

It's only an hour till the expected and everyone from the TIAW and HSAW are doing last minute preparation before they come. With the HSAW, there were multiple 2 man teams of MANPADS, 1 being a spotter and loader, and 1 carrying the launcher and shooting. For the TIAW, it was more of a mix batch. There were some who were assigned to the S-75 Dvinas in 5-6 man teams and some assigned to the 12.7mm DShKs with at least a 2 man team. A private from my command come up.

Me: Báo cáo? (Report?)

HSAW member: Dạ! (He salutes me) Các đơn ví sẵn sàng để phòng thủ căn cứ này! Báo cáo hết! (Sir! All units are ready to defend this airbase! Report end!)

Me: Rồi. (I check my watch and thinking to myself) 1 tiếng nữa. Chắc phải đi chuẩn bị đây. (Alright. 1 more hour, so that means I have to go prepare.)

I then pause for a few seconds.

Me: Mình đi xêm được không, binh nhì? (Can I go take a look, Private?)

HSAW member: Dạ được. Đi theo mình. (You can, sir. Follow me.)

I then went outside to see ours and the TIAW defenses.

A few moments later, outskirts of the USAF base, Guam

From what I can see, there were rows and rows of S-75 Dvinas and DShKs covering the surrounding perimeter of the base. Just a little further inside, I saw our forces, with their MANPADS and looking like they're itching for a fight. I then greet a 9K333 Verba team.

Me: Gentlemen?

HSAW US Marine Verba Spotter (salutes me): Sir!

HSAW US Marine Verba Missileer (salutes me): Sir!

Me (I salute them): At ease. How are you 2 doing?

HSAW US Marine Verba Spotter: Sir, to be honest. We're itching to just shoot them down.

Me (I chuckle): Ha! Those are my boys! Always first to fight!

HSAW US Marine Verba Spotter and Missileer: Yes sir! Semper Fi!

Me: Semper Fi to both of you 2. Godspeed Marines.

HSAW US Marine Verba Spotter and Missileer: Yes sir!

Me: Okay then. Dismissed!

They go back to what they were doing before I greeted them, which was playing with a pack of cards.

HSAW member: Sir?

Me: Hm?

HSAW member: AWACS Thunder says that he needs you urgently in the briefing room.

Me: Very well. Tell him I'm on my way.

HSAW member: Yes sir.

The member then calls AWACS Thunder while I go to the briefing room to meet the other pilots for our response against the 2nd wave coming in an hour.

Me (thinking): This is still a very, very long day...

A few moments later, briefing room

Once I got in, everyone including the AWACS saluted me.

Me: At ease. AWACS, take the briefing.

AWACS Thunder: Yes sir.

Our AWACS then pulls up a screen, showing where we are and our attackers.

AWACS Thunder: Gentlemen, as you already know, we are to be expecting a second wave of Federation bombers and fighters in about an hour. Our air defenses so far are stable, but we are to also intercept them out just a few miles from our base. In about 20 minutes, you are to gear up and wait at your aircraft until you get the go-ahead when the radar spots them. As for strategy, do the same moves you did last time, and stick with your squads. Even if the Commander may look inexperienced, judging from the last battle we had this morning, with his impressive 23 kills, he might just become the next pilot ace we need. (looks to me) Don't worry, this is not going to replace your role as overall Commander, sir.

Me: No problems taken.

AWACS Thunder: I think that is all. Good luck, and happy hunting those Bandits down. (he salutes all of us) Godspeed all of you, and may God be on your side.

Saber and Wolf squads: Yes sir!

Me: Now, let's go men!

We all headed back into our barracks to change out into our pilot uniforms, then head out.

A few minutes later, An's Barracks

Since I already had the pilot uniform prepared, it was only a matter of checking the uniform to see if anything was broken.

A/N: This is what An's pilot suit looks like as a Marine Corps F-35B Pilot, with the US flag on the right, and the Vietnamese flag on his left, and USMC markings on the center left, and nametag on the center right.

I checked both the helmet and its system first.

Me: All systems good, check.

Next came the flying suit and lifeguard, both of which worked as intended.

Me: Check.

Then I got out my M27 and started to disassemble it and put it in a case, while also taking out the SERE kit and putting in the case with the M27.

Me: That's done.

Lastly, I went through everything again and put on my pilot suit and started to walk out to see the others waiting for me.

McPearson and the others: Sir!

Me: That fast huh? I guess it was probably from today, otherwise it would've taken more time for all of you?

Saber 0-3: Correct sir.

A/N: McPearson's pilot suit. Except for he has a F-35 helmet and an oxygen mask like the others. Right side has the US flag and the left side has his Ranger tab and 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment tab.

A/N: The MiG-35 pilot suit. Has the Russian and US flags on the right and left, respectively, and USAF and Russian VVS markings on the center left, while the nametag is on the center right.

A/N: Su-30MK2V pilot suit. US flag on the right side, VPAF patch on the left, and Vietnamese flag in the center left, while nametag is on the center right.

Me: So, I guess we're ready to fight then. Head to your aircraft and wait for the signal.

Saber and Wolf squads: Yes sir!

Me: Go!

We all then run and scramble to our aircraft, with the air crews preparing the ramps fro us to climb on in anticipation of the strike. Before then though, there was a lot of anxious waiting.

Me (to my air crew): You alright?

HSAW air crewmember #1: Yes sir. Just a little anxious, that's all sir.

HSAW air crewmember #2: Likewise, sir.

Me: Well, we've all been in a situation like this. Where did you deploy?

HSAW air crewmember #1: Iraq, sir.

HSAW air crewmember #2: Afghanistan, sir.

HSAW air crewmember #3: Syria.

Me: Looks like you all got deployed to the Middle East, before all of....that happened.

HSAW air crewmember #1: New York, sir?

I silently nod my head.

Me: So, anything you want to do before I and my squads take off?

HSAW air crewmembers: No sir.

Me: Alright then, I guess we have to sit and wait th-

I then hear AWACS Thunder radio us.

AWACS Thunder (radio): The fighters are nearer than we thought. Scramble and sortie out! They're only 10 minutes till they reach here!

Me (radio): Got it. All units! Let's go!

The air crewmembers hurriedly check the F-35B before I climbed on the ramp, sat on the seat, and close the canopy. They all saluted me and I saluted back before taxing to the runway.

Me (radio): Thunder, my squads are taxing onto the runway. Are we cleared for takeoff?

AWACS Thunder (radio): Once you head to the runway, proceed to takeoff in 2 squads. Yes, you cleared for takeoff.

Me (radio): Got it.

All of our aircraft reach the runway and we start to turn on our afterburners.

https://youtu.be/MLRWslO_iqc

A/N: 0:00 - 0:58.

AWACS Thunder: Saber Squad, takeoff!

Our squad then takes off first.

AWACS Thunder: Wolf Squad, takeoff!

McPearson's squad comes in just behind off, taking off after we did by a few seconds. We then fly into our 2 formations close to each other and like last time, it wasn't too long till reach the Federation's aircraft.

Me (radio): All units, this Saber 0-1. Remember, now they're bring Yokosuka P1Y bombers as well, so if we need help, just call the guys with either the SAMS, or MANPADS in charge of air defense, got it?

Wolf and Saber Squads: Yes sir!

Me (radio): Now let's go splash some Bandits!

Our aircraft were fast approaching their aircraft and we proceeded to go behind them and strike them in the back.

A/N: 0:58 - 1:29.

Me (radio): Wait for it.

We then look for our targets and scan them via our IFF to also identify our ground units.

A/N: 1:30 - 2:04.

Like last time, I find the lead fighter of the 1st group of fighters and bombers and shoot it down.

Me (radio): Fox 3!

My AIM-120 AMRAAM then goes racing towards the aircraft, destroying it.

AWACS Thunder: Splash. Bandit down Saber 0-1.

As it starts into a dogfight, I pull up to about 40,000 ft. and soar down at the helpless bombers, with only their machine guns ricocheting off my F-35B. I then went in for the kill on the bomber.

Me (radio): Fox 2!

An AIM-9 Sidewinder than pops out of the internal bay and locks onto the bomber, destroying it instantly.

Me (radio): Saber squad, what's your status?

Saber 0-3 (radio): Sir! We're a bit strained here sir. I think it's time we call fo-

When the enemy reached our base, I then saw the missiles coming from the combined fire of the Verbas, Igla-Ss, Stingers, and S-75 Dvinas from down below, destroying the multiple fighters and bombers coming our way.

A/N: 2:05 - 2:37.

AWACS Thunder (radio): Saber 0-1, you have a Bandit on your 6.

Me (radio): Copy that.

I then begin to do evasive maneuvers on the fighter, until the pilot from that fighter came through.

Unknown female Federation Pilot: So finally I get to meet....the ace of the last battle.

Me (radio): And just who are you?

Devil (radio): They call me the "Devil". The only reason is because I shot down 100 planes in Sensha Do matches.

Me (radio): Like that's gonna scare me.

Devil: (radio): Your heresy to this sport will not be tolerated. And don't think you'll win this fight, because I'm about to shoot you down.

Me (radio): Right....like that's gonna happen.

Turns out, the Devil was skilled, sticking on my tail when I dodged her fire, with the armor of the F-35B saving my 6 and ricocheting off all the rounds that hit my plane.

F-25B system: Missile alert! Missile alert!

Me: Wha-

I then see that her aircraft fired some air-to-air missiles at my plane.

Me (radio): Goddamn, flares, flares!

I then activated my flares, letting the missiles destroy themselves.

Devil (radio): You will never run from me, Saber 0-1. I will hunt you down and destroy you.

A/N : 2:38 - 2:53.

While she was distracted, I did another Post Stall maneuver (Pugachev's Cobra). She then got a good look at me as she whizzed through.

Devil (radio): H-H-How?

Me (radio): Tactics, genius.

She got on my 12 and I'm about to finish her, until..

*BOOM!*

A/N: Yeah, first sound effect I've ever used in all my stories XD.

Me (radio): Thunder, what was that?!

AWACS Thunder: Looks like some of the bombers got through and bombed a portion of the runway, though no major damage though. Get after them!

Me (radio): Got it!

I then press the red button on Devil's Japanese fighter.

Me (radio): Well, Devil, it's time for you to say goodbye! Fox-2!

I then released another AIM-9 Sidewinder from my internal bay and locked onto Devil's fighter, destroying it.

Devil (radio): NO! I WILL NEVER BE DEF-

It crashed to the ground with her ejecting out and, conveniently, landing next to our prison, to which our MPs promptly detained her.

A/N: Oh I forget to mention they're using live missiles, but as one of my followers, White_Tiger_1987 says, "Welcome to the world of GuP where tanks shoot at each other with live ammunition and somehow everything is safe.". So yeah, since it's the GuP world, live missiles don't kill people, cause logic doesn't work here.

A/N: 2:53 - end.

AWACS Thunder: Splash. Bandit down Saber 0-1. Now go after the bombers!

Me (radio): Already one step ahead of you!

I then see my guys intercepting the bombers with the MiGs and Sukhois, and McPearson getting a few kills from the slow bombers alone.

McPearson (radio): Took you long enough sir.

Me (I chuckle) (radio): Well, at least spare me some fun!

I then found about 5 bombers, to which I locked on and pressed the red button containing my AIM-120 AMRAAMs.

Me (radio): Fox 3!

5 missiles came out of the internal bay simultaneously and locked on to the bombers destroying them.

AWACS Thunder: Bandits down Saber 0-1. That's the last of them. Head back to base.

Me (radio): But first. Permission to land, Thunder?

AWACS Thunder: Permission granted.

We all then landed our aircraft, got out, and headed back in for the debriefing. Guess we did survive to live another day after all, and pretty easily actually.

A/N: Music ends here.

JSDF base, Yona, Guam

Third Person POV:

Back at the girls' base, the whole event was being broadcasted live again, just like this morning.

Sensha Do Announcer (IJ): -And it looks like the 2nd wave of Federation fighters and bombers has been destroyed. (she grits her teeth in anger) Those American heretics!-

Maho (IJ): Looks like she has a bigger temper tantrum than you Erika.

Erika (chuckling, IJ): She does. But she's also more annoying.

Miho (IJ): I agree.

Darjeeling (IJ): And the Federation has yet again underestimated the boys strength. (she sips her tea)

Nishi (IJ): And those were also good Japanese WW2 fighters. Though I do have to agree, they stand no chance against 14 modern jet fighters, plus a combination of air defenses consisting of smart missiles. (A/N: She's referring to the MANPADS and the S-75 Dvinas) A full on air attack like that is not a good idea.

Maho (IJ): Well let's hope that the Federation learns its mistake from taking a beating from Commander Dương and his forces.

Erika (IJ): I highly doubt it though, Commander.

Maho (IJ): Then let them be. We're not in charge of their forces, so only worry about our schools, not them.

All the girls from the high schools nodded with their heads.

Miho (thinking): Good job out there. I hope you're doing well from that....love.

Briefing room, USAF base, Guam

An's POV:

AWACS Thunder: -So, it looks like you boys secured yourself some other juicy kills. Here are the numbers. (He then shows a screen with all the kills) All the enemy aircraft were destroyed this time, so the Federation is going to have a hard time striking us back. The air defense goys secured themselves, about 20 kills in total. You MiG and Sukhoi pilots secured yourselves another 20 kills, each. McPearson, you got yourself 35 kills, and lastly, for the biggest ace here, you got 50 kills. Congratulations to all of you!

All of us started to congratulate each other and cheer.

McPearson: Sir, very good job on your part. For a 17 year old, that's really good.

Me: But we're all either 17 or 16, so it's also a thanks to you all as well. If it weren't for the 12 of you taking down those bombers and escorts with me, I would've surely been set to fail. The credits also go to the guys on the ground too. They provided a lot of suppressive fire, making our jobs easier.

AWACS Thunder: Okay enough of that, go enjoy yourselves for the night. It's been a long day. Good luck, and godspeed. (he saluted us)

Wolf and Saber squads (salutes back): Godspeed to you too, sir!

Me (I chuckle and salute): Well, thank you, AWACS Thunder for today.

AWACS Thunder: No problem.

Me (to the others): Alright men, head back to your barracks and enjoy yourselves. Have fun!

Wolf and Saber squads: Yes sir!

They all rushed back to their barracks, probably I'm assuming to pass out and rest. AWACS Thunder then leaves the room, leaving me and McPearson left in the room.

McPearson: Uh, An?

Me: Yeah, Will?

McPearson: Even though it might not seem like it, I think I'm starting to fall in love wit-

Me: Maho. I can tell.

McPearson (his cheeks turn red): Yes.

Me (I smile): Then I suggest you go up and confess to her the next time we meet them. From what I can tell from that call this morning, both you and her must be blushing badly. After all, I confessed, and that's how I got Miho as my girlfriend.

McPearson: Right. Guess I got to be brave I guess... (he sighs)

Me (I put a hand on his shoulder): No need to be brave. Just let your feelings do the work and it'll come to you, I promise.

McPearson: Thanks.

Me: You're welcome. Now go rest up, cause tomorrow might as well either be another ground operation or just a training day. And before you ask, yes, you may be dismissed.

McPearson: Yes sir.

He then leaves the room as I started to go back to my barracks.

Me (thinking): Well the long day is over I guess. I wonder when I get to see Miho again?

Little did I know that in a few days time, I would meet her again, this time on the battlefield again.

*insert USTO ending

A/N: And that was Season 1, Ep 12. I hope that you are enjoying this ride so far! Remember to review and vote!

Have a nice day!
