2. CASE# C-5C00P: A fishy situation

Statement of Cooper Schulz, written August 17, 2018 about his weird body changes. Audio recording by Max LuPlume on July 27, 2020.
I've always been drawn to the outdoors. I like being outside. I know my job doesn't really matter if I do work inside or out but I still prefer the outdoors. I live in California (your not getting my city fuckers), and I like to skateboard and go swimming.
Yes, that is very stereotypical of a young Californian man to like skateboarding. This and living so close to a beach is why I love the water. Although, when all this started happening, I thought it was just skateboarding accidents and being not fully developed to be the issue.
Some people tend to keep growing even after their growth spurt. And normally, growth spurt brings a little bit of growing pains. To be honest, I'm friends with some fucking giants. I'm roughly 5'11 and most of my friends have a few inches on me so growing to (kinda) catch up would be pretty sick.
My brain thought it was either that, or after whenever I would fuck-up a trick on the skateboard. Ya'know doin' a line and going down a 5 stair or how I (somehow) managed to mess up an Ollie.
Now, when you mess up a trick, ya kinda have to roll forward to not hurt yourself. Now, there are other ways to land properly and safely but that's most common.
So when I started having "growing pain" or "probably hurt myself while skateboarding", those were my main thoughts. Until the changes started happening. They were originally small changes in habits before turning a bit more weird.
The first noticeable changes that started happening was my food choices. I started wanting fish or fish sticks or other similar shit. I don't normally eat that type of food because my friend Travis is the one who cooks in the house and he doesn't cook that type of stuff. My roommates would also prefer something else over that shit.
Then I started to want to go outside even more than I already do. It's like my body was drawn to go near bodies of water. At first I would just go skate near the beach with my friends. Then I had the desire to swim more often. Sometimes it was the only thing on my mind. When I first started I would go out there for an hour or two and recently I've been out for over four hours.
Which is out of the norm because skateboarding is typically more fun than fuckin' swimming.
And those are not the only things happening. My eyes are a blue-ish green color and they are turning more and more yellow. My eyes are turning yellow. This could be a genetic thing since I'm not fuckin' scientist but nobody's eyes turned yellow in my family. My roommates pointed out my now pointer ears and sharper teeth.
My fingernails also are growing faster and are very sharp. I can fucking draw blood just by clenching my fists. I'm also pretty sure that the space between my fingers are starting to have webbing between them. I know some people have that but I'm talking like duck type webbing that's starting no to grow between my fingers.
This isn't me growing or anything. I don't do those weird-champ body mods so I don't know why this is happening!
The next issue was the stupidly dry skin and back pain. I had to take a ton of meds because of how much pain I was in. The shitty thing was that when I went to the doctors they couldn't find anything wrong. I have a follow up in a few days since its only gotten worse.
The dry skin led to me using more moisturizer, but it still makes me scratch at my skin more and more. My skin feels tight, like it needs more moisture. But, it's like, I put it on more and more each day just to make sure I don't scratch.
The scratchy-ness also led me to see the new "freckles" I have. Wherever my itchy dry skin is, a new "freckle" shows up soon after. The damn things don't even seem like freckles. The normal colors are like, yellow, brown, light brown, or even black like moles.
These "freckles" are similar to murky water. Like, a brownish blue/green, type of color. They feel hard, like sandpaper almost. And I know what sandpaper fucking feels like.
The weird "freckles" are starting to show up everywhere on my body. On my upper back, near my forearm, a few on my hands, even on my face. They are growing bigger. That's the only reason it's becoming a concern, it's affecting my appearance and it seems like it's not going to stop.
Do you know what's happening? Can I even stop it from happening? Please help me I don't want to be stuck in the dark, needing to figure shit out on my own. I've asked my parents and they don't know what's happening. But the look on my mothers face when she found out makes me thinks she know, that she fucking knows and won't tell me.
So if she won't help me, can you? Give me something to work with, hell I'll even pay you to give me some sort of clue as to what's going on. Please just give me something, anything!
Statement ends.
Mr. Schulz seems to be under-going a transformation that is ... possibly ... genetic. This transformation seems to be linked with the sea or ocean. The description of what is happening isn't following up on any similar beings such as the 'famous' mermaid or merman. Ross looked all over and most of the time, when talking about people transforming to 'merfolk', their legs are either sewed together to start to become one appendage or turning to a merfolk by touching water.
This does not seem to be the case.
We, ........ unfortunately ........, do not know what is causing his transformation. My notes don't have much on it, they barely even have definite statements. The notes that speak about water based creatures that could fit the discription is "El hombre rana" and "ke 'ano lawai'a 'ano". Spanish and Hawaiian respectively.
"El hombre rana" or The Frogman, seems to be a contester because they tend to live by the water and families often seem like it's genetics skip generations at a time before reappearing down the bloodline. This would explain the mother knowing of the situation but not sharing since it seems to give some generations different affected genetics.
"Ke 'ano lawai'a 'ano" or The Shapeshifting fishman, is the most likely out of the two due to them having a long transition phase and their need for water.
Also, the little "Freckles" Mr. Schulz talks about and shows on the attachment photos look very similar to those of fish scales.
These are the only notes we have on both so we, unfortunately, don't have much to go on in terms of what is happening.
Maybe it's a mixture of the two since Cooper Schulz was reported missing on August 25, 8 days after the statement. Cooper Schulz, apparently returned two weeks later; the public does not know much on his return other than Mr. Schulz's remark on the matter. "I had to figure myself out and what was happening in my life." Any questions on the matter were un-informed and left unanswered. Mr. Schulz declined to do a follow-up on the matter.
His roommates Travis [redacted] and [Redacted] [Redacted] did not and refused to speak on the matter. (Names redacted due to private reasoning). Meanwhile his roommate Noah H. Boxé spoke to us privately on the matter. Noah confirmed his behavior and some of the transformation stuff such as Mr. Schulz eyes turning more yellow, nails, and drier skin. Mr. Boxé did not know more on the matter and declined to speak to us a second follow-up.
The photos on the attachment to the statement showed the early stages of his transition, but any photos after the incident show no signs of the transition.
Who knows, the notes I have could be wrong about Mr. Schulz's condition. Maybe it's just a rare disease, but ..... Ross's research shows nothing of the sort.
*deep inhale and exhale*
*murmured*
I never believed in this stuff anyway...
what the fuck
Conclusion ends.
