Chapter 1: Moving In (Heaven's)

~~Shadow's PoV~~

"Shadow! Come on! We're going to be late because of you!" Flame's loud, rough voice called. Ugh, twins.

"I'm coming! Just get my back pack." I called, at least that was all I was taking. Only a pair of clothes, my electronics, chargers, tooth brush, hats, tooth paste, deodorant, and spray. That kind of stuff, and it all fit in my bag. I'm a magical magic person. Yup, that makes sense. Everything else I needed, or wanted was already at my dorm. This year should be interesting.

"Shadow! Come on!" Flame yelled again. I slid on my running shoes, which weren't really helpful because I don't run all that much, and walked out of my room. "Finally," Flame huffed. He had his own bag slung over his shoulder, probably less stuff in it. "Why did you take so long?!"

"I had to put everything in it." I shrugged, motioning to my bag.

"It's literally a ten minute trip." Flame groaned, his mostly red hair rising with his frustration. The black tips were now pointed towards the ceiling.

"You might wanna calm down, sir fire." I motioned to the small amount of red radiating from his skin. He sighed and quickly calmed making his hat fall into place and the red disappear.

"Let's go." He sighed, waving his hand.

"Mom's not showing us the way?" I mumbled, frowning. His head shook, guess she was already at work. His hand waved in front of the door, a strange pattern being used. I watched as the door glowed lightly. I opened it carefully and the portal was ready. With that our hands joined and we walked through.

~~Heaven's PoV~~

"People are getting here so slow." I complained to myself, none of my friends went here, or knew about this place. I sighed quietly. Sometimes I really wish I didn't have magic. I was totally bored and lonely.

"Excuse me?" A kind male voice asked. I leaned back to see him, the suns harsh rays hurting my eyes. A girl stood besides him, she was a bit shorter. Friends probably.

"Yeah?" I couldn't help but stare at their odd colored hair, black with red tips and streaks on the girl's, and red with black tips and streaks on the boy's. A hand waved in my face, snapping me back to reality. The girl raised a brow.

"We were just wondering what exactly we're supposed to do..." The girl mumbled, eyes flickering around to the large groups of teens, who've probably know each other for years. I smiled sideways, standing with a light jump.

"I can show you, if you like? I already checked in." I grinned excitedly.

"That'd be nice." The boy agreed, nodding. Man, he was tall...

"Follow me~!" I swiveled on my foot and headed towards the large building. Doors spread across the bottom in multiple random places, all leading to the main eating hall, if we chose to eat their for any meals. We had multiple choices, but for today this was our check in area. Classrooms were upstairs, the auditorium was also this cafeteria. Dorms were in different places around this section of the school. This portion, was actually only for the middle school; my area. "Oh wait!" I panicked, facing them quickly. "High school, middle school, or Elementary?" The girl gave me a funky look.

"Middle school." They answered in unison. I felt my mouth open in awe.

"Grade?"

"Eighth." The boy answered. The girl nodded.

"Awesome! Me too." I grinned, "Oh, by the way; I'm Heaven."

"Shadow." The girl waved kindly.

"Flame." The boy nodded in agreement.

"Awesome! Okay let's go again." I laughed sheepishly and turned towards the building. I glanced at the ground, holding in a sigh. So socially awkward... I pushed open the door, the area growing even louder. I glanced back, they were still there. "Stay close by!" I called, hopefully being heard. They nodded. We made our way to the tables, they stood in the W and X line, going by last name. I stayed close to them, they were the only people I knew here. I looked around curiously as they made their way to the front and got all checked in. When they walked over we went outside to hear better. "So, who's your roommate?" I asked curiously. Mine was someone named Brianna, I hope she's not mean and that she likes me. I hope I don't do something stupid... We're in the girls dorm, Building B, floor three, room thirty-six.

"Someone named... Trixie Carlotta?" Shadow's eyes narrowed curiously. "Room fifty-six, floor five, in the girls dorms, B building. Oh god, this is gonna be hard t find. At least I know my stuff is already there."

"Someone named Daniel Williams? Boys dorm, Room three, floor one, building A." This should be... Interesting." Flame let out a small sigh. "You ready for this, sis?" He pat Shadow's head. Oh siblings! Twins? I looked at them curiously.

"As ready as I can be." She shrugged, sighing quietly.

"You'll be fine." He reassured. I watched, unknowing what to do. He just smiled at me kindly. "Can you show us to our rooms?"

"Yeah, sure." I smiled slightly and lead the way to the boy's dorms. I showed him, girls were aloud in the boys dorms until about seven-thirty, unless they're outside visitors, then they're aloud to stay longer. Same thing for boys in the girls dorms. I waved to the head counselor for this dorm building. "Here's your room." I pointed at the door with the shinning number three.

~~Flame's PoV~~

"Thank you..." I sighed quietly, here goes nothing. I grabbed the silver nob gently and turned it to the right, pushing the door in. My room was revealed. A boy was sitting at one of the two desks in front of a window and was typing away on a desk top computer. He was in a turning chair, and typing away quickly. When the door creaked he glanced back, probably noticing me. Quickly he spun around and stood, his spiked blond hair bouncing with him as he walked over.

"Hey, I'm Daniel, but people usually call me Danny." He waved excitedly. I hesitantly returned the gesture, glancing at my sister. She urged me on.

"I'm Flame... This is my twin Shadow,and that's Heaven." I pointed to the two girls behind me. Shadow waved, smiling sideways. I don't think she liked not rooming together. Heave waved, a small, nervous smile on her face.

"Cool." Danny nodded, "you can have the top bunk, bottom bunk is mine." He turned again and walked back to the computer desk. Drastic mood change, much? Why does he want the bottom bunk? Everyone I know prefer the top bunk.

"Okay." I agreed, tossing my bag up to the top.

"Later Flame." Shadow waved from the door, her hand folding into her pocket. I waved back.

"See ya." Heaven waved, her hands hiding behind her head as she walked off. Oh my god, why is the way everyone's acting changing so much? Shadow, I get because that's how she is normally, but jeez.

"Are they gone?" Danny asked as I closed the door. I raised a brow looking at him.

"Yeah, they are. Why?"

"Good." He huffed in relief as he turned again. "No reason, just wanted to make sure." He said, shrugging.

"Yeah... Okay." I hesitated as he nodded once more.

"So, roommates, eh?" Danny smirked sideways. I raised a brow and nodded.

This is defiantly going to be a new experience...
