With gentle kisses on my neck, I slowly wake up. To get used to the brightness, however, it takes a little longer than usual. Tom must have changed me yesterday, because I'm no longer lying in bed in my clothes from yesterday. I turn to look at him and start to smile. "Good morning princess," he greets me and snuggles into the crook of my neck. "It's nice to wake up next to you and not have to keep reaching for a blank page," I pull him a little closer so I can enjoy his closeness completely. "I'd love to have you by my side all the time too, except my job isn't safe."Annoyed that he's right, I roll my eyes, but it's certainly not that hard to stay in bed a little longer every day. to enjoy the morning with his girlfriend. Then I remember that I haven't told him yet that Adriana and I are going shopping today for her party. With a flourish, I turn around and rest my head on his well-toned torso. "I'm going shopping with Adriana today. She's going to show me around the city a bit, too." He holds his breath for a moment, and the look on his face tells me he doesn't like this at all. "I don't think that's a good idea. I don't only have enemies in our homeland. They are everywhere and they want to harm me in every direction. If they take away my greatest treasure, I don't know what will happen," he tells me. Of course he is right and I know myself that our life is not easy, but Adriana can go out without any problem, so why can't I? I sit down cross-legged in front of him and look at my hands. "All I want is a dress for tonight." I felt his hand on my cheek. I meet his touch and nestle against his hand and look at him. "If that is your wish, then you may go, but on the condition that you take bodyguards with you and you always have your phone on loud. If anything is, you call me immediately," when he uttered these sentences I could hardly hold back my friends and I hugged him hastily. So he couldn't hold my weight and we fell back on the mattress. "You're cute when you get excited about little things like that."

I couldn't take it anymore and put my lips on his. This man is a kissing god. When his lips touch mine then it feels like an explosion of emotion is happening in my body. He pushes me a little closer to him and I could feel that the man was just very excited, which makes me smile between our kisses. But this wonderful moment was disturbed by a knock on the door. Annoyed, we both groaned and moved away from each other. "What time is it?", Tom leans to his phone and looks shocked. "Ten o'clock. I don't know the last time I slept this late." Shit, I'm late! That was my only thought when Tom answered my question. I jump up from the bed and run to my suitcase to quickly find something suitable for this morning. In the background, I can hear Tom laughing softly. Thank you very much. He's not the one who's late.

After I have cleared out almost all my suitcases I have found something. I quickly do my hair and take another look at myself in the mirror as Tom stands behind me and rests his chin on my shoulder. "You look beautiful. It's not easy to let you go," he says with a grin. Yes, that brought a smile to my face too. Even though I know what he's alluding to, gestures like that are just melting. "Who was that at the door anyway?" didn't catch that at all as I looked for something appropriate. "That was my cousin. He wanted to know if I'd like to do something with him before all the stress starts for the two of them."
What do you mean by "doing something" with two mafia bosses? What if they go to some bars and there are attractive young girls there and Tom falls in love with one of them. But he's not like that, is he? Through the silly thoughts I start chewing my lip with my teeth. "What's going through your head, princess?" with his strong arms, he turns me to face him. I couldn't help but look into his eyes. "Doesn't matter."

He looks at me with raised eyebrows. Of course he doesn't believe me, probably I am, like an open book to him. With my eyes I follow his movement of his hand. In slow motion, he puts his finge to my lip and removes it from my teeth. "You should stop doing that. There's a good chance your clothes will be off your body in no time. Now tell me what's going on"

"I-uh," God not even real words come out of mouth anymore because he's getting me so upset. "What do you mean by "do something"?", nervously I wanted to chew on my lip again, but remembered what Tom just told me. He had to smirk at my question, which leads to me being even more confused. "You don't have anything to worry about. There won't be any women around. He wants to show me all he's accomplished over the years and talk a little. That's all that's going to happen." Relief is written all over my face that no women or worse are still happening at the meeting. "But you should really slow down now or they'll leave without you. Which isn't bad for me, but I think it is for you."

He gave me another quick kiss before I grab my jacket and head out of the room. I can't put into words how happy I am right now to finally be doing something normal again. Downstairs I can already see Adriana waiting for me. "Sorry I'm late. I overslept," she looks up from her phone and smiles at me. "Don't worry about it. However, we have a lot of things planned, so we should get going now." So we got into an Audi RS7 and drove off. We are not even 10 minutes and I have already seen more than in my whole childhood. "The plan today is like this. We'll first find you a dress for tonight and then I'll show you my favorite places. We can also have a coffee yet, if time still allows," she explains to me and presses the gas again. "I'm looking forward to it," I could only say, since her driving style, is almost exactly like Tom's and I still haven't gotten used to it.

After quite a while we arrived at a center, where I can already see from the outside that it's not going to be cheap. I swallow hard and look over at Adriana. "You're sure this is the right place? It already looks expensive from the outside." Totally thrilled by this, she nods quickly and pulls me into the shopping center with her. I should be right, because here are only luxury brands from Louis Vuitton to Chanel everything is included here. "Adriana I..." but she doesn't let me finish and already pulls me into the first store. "Here we will definitely find a dress for you," she says and goes looking for dresses, while I am also looking, but when I see the prices, my breath almost stops. "OMG! Y/N look at this dress or jumpsuit. You really need to wear that," she hands me the outfits and pushes me into the dressing room. If I'm honest, the jumpsuit feels really good from the fabric. While the dress is already about scratchy "Can you please take the dress back. It has such a scratchy fabric.", confused she looks at me and feels herself. "You're right. After a few minutes you would have a rash and we don't want that", while she brings the dress back I put on the jumpsuit and really have to say I really like it. "Are you ready? Let's see you," in her voice I could already hear how excited they were. I slowly push the curtain aside and slowly walk out of the booth.

"Fuck! Y/N you look stunningly beautiful! You really need to buy it.", at her reaction I had to smile. We've only known each other for a day and she feels so for me. Carefully I pick up the price tag and had to swallow. 400$ for a piece of clothing! There's no way I can afford that. "Is everything okay with you? You look so shocked," I take another look at myself in the mirror before going back into the dressing room and changing. As nice as this jumpsuit is I can't afford it and Tom his money I don't want to spend either, I always feel so terrible about that because it's not my money.

"Why are you putting the jumpsuit back?", Adriana asks me. I take her hand and walk out of the shopping center with her. Of course, I notice that there are two other cars with bodyguards parked next to her car that are supposed to be there for our safety. One of them already has it written on his face that he is surprised that we are already back. "Listen Adriana, I'm really happy that you said we'd do something together, but I can't afford anything. I'll just pick something out of my suitcase or wear the dress Tom bought me for your wedding twice. Let's just have a coffee and then you can show me around Madrid." Was it awkward for me to say it? Absolutely, but I can't keep spending Tom's money. What would his parents say to that. They'd probably just think that I'm only with him because of his money.

"I have to make a quick phone call. I'll be right back.... and don't worry. I understand your point of view.", she walked a few meters away from me but was immediately followed by a bodyguard. I'm glad Adriana understands and doesn't make fun of me. After five minutes she came back and has a big smile on her lips. "I see your phone call was successful," immediately she nodded and pulls me along with her. "You don't mind that we walk instead of we drive. That way you can see the beautiful places even better." In fact, I am very glad that I can walk a little. "I don't have a problem with that. A little stretching of the legs will probably do me a lot of good."

So we set off and she showed me as much as she could. Of course we didn't have that much time since Adriana has a lot of things to do, but we were still able to enjoy the time and it was fun to talk to someone who was once in the same situation as I am right now. Right now we are back in her car driving back to her estate. "Are you excited for the party yet and especially for tomorrow?", I asked her, "Oh yes! I can't wait to make him my husband. I never thought I could fall so hard for a man, but him. He treated me like a princess and gives me so much love." As she continues to talk about her love for Alejandro, I automatically have to think about Tom as well. He too has changed a little, even if he doesn't want to admit it himself. We have already experienced so much in these few days. If someone had told me that I would fall in love with a Mafia boss and live with him, I would have laughed heartily. "Did you get anyone else to help you or did you do this all by yourself?" if she did all the organizing by herself then my hat goes off to her. "Oh no, Alejandro's best friend helped me. The funny thing is, his name is also Alejandro and when I call the name they both respond at the same time," we both started laughing because the idea is funny how both of them come running.
