Chapter 25: 4:00 p.m. Monday

Jackie-

Hands shaking as I walked to our meet up, second thoughts railing my head stepping away and walking forward. Spotting him sat on the edge of the fountain, long legs stretched out in front and hands in jeans pockets head turned the other way.

Looking around he saw me coming to his side,  his dimple became deep as he grinned and stood. Walking toward me face to face I lifted my index finger and gave his dimple a quick poke.

He chuckled taking it into his hand, lacing his with mine gently. The flutter and warmth in my stomach in a frenzy being close to him. "So," he trailed off pursing his pink lips to the side of his mouth.

"So," I repeated puttering my lips.

"You wanna watch a movie?" he suggested playing with my fingers before meeting my eyes.

"As friends?" I questioned.

"No," he shook his head our arms still together.

"What about our talk?"

"We can talk later." He pulled me behind, our steps in sync heading to the campus theater. Non platonic.
