(The chapter begins with XGaster preparing for the experiments and the two pups where still sleeping peacefully and both of their stomachs were still growling from hunger and then Gaster was finally done preparing the experiments and he came into the room where both mers were sleeping and he immediately wakes them up and Gaster had the to mers breakfast)
Cross (Project X): 💤
Papyrus (Project B): 💤
(Suddenly XGaster comes into the room with the mers breakfast and he loudly says their lab rat names)
XGaster: Project X! Project B! Wake Up it's time for breakfast and after you have your breakfast I'll start the experiments!
Cross (Project X): (Wakes up startled) Ah (Accidentally banged his head against the glass of the tank accidentally) Ow.....
Papyrus (Project B): (Wakes up and Groans in annoyance and sits up) .......
XGaster: Good your awake anyways here's your breakfast (Puts two small little frozen fishes in both tanks) after your done with your breakfast my assistant will grab one of you to do the experiments and then I will train you magically. (Leaves the room to go get his assistant)
Cross (Project X): (Sighs and begins eating the two small frozen fish) (He blips his tongue out in hunger)
Papyrus (Project B): (Eats the two frozen fish) (Sighs) Hey Cross do you think we will be stuck here forever?
Cross (Project X): No I don't think will be trapped for ever who knows we might get rescued Paps.
Papyrus (Project B) I don't know we might not make it and we will never be able to meet are soulmates.
Cross (Project X): I don't know but we have to have faith. (finishes his two small frozen fish)
(Suddenly Adam XGasters assistant came into the room)
Adam: Hi little ones I'm here to grab one of you and I going to take you Doctor Gaster so we can start the experiments.
Cross (Project X): ......
Papyrus (Project B): Take me first I won't allow you to hurt Cross!
Cross (Project X): Wait no paps don't! (He uses his claws to claw at the glass in his tank)
Adam: (Goes to Papyrus's Tank and then he opens Papyrus's tank up and picks him up) Ok little guy I'm going to take you to the Doc ok.
Cross (Project X): Wait no!
Papyrus (Project B): (Smiles at Cross)
(Adam takes Papyrus to XGaster and XGaster began the experiments on Papyrus few hours later and XGaster comes into the room without Papyrus)
Cross (Project X): (Waiting for Adam to put Papyrus back inside his tank and then XGaster comes into the room instead) Where is paps is he ok? (Swims closer to the glass)
XGaster: Unfortunately your brother Project X didn't make it he couldn't handle the experiments and he turned in dust & sea foam.
Cross (Project X): No....no! Why we are only pups why are you doing this to us you killed him you killed my brother (Purple tears begin stream down his face and the tears gently come off his cheek and then he wipes his tears away) I'll never forgive you for this you killed him with your experiments!
XGaster: You can hate me all you want you'll never going to be able to escape but it's your turn oh and I'll be getting you a new tank that will monitor your health and progress after I finish your experiments Project X.
Cross (Project X): But I might die!
XGaster: (Smiles evilly) I have prepared a bunch of special experiments for you Project X it will be wise for you to cooperate with me or you'll be shocked for your disobedience.
Cross (Project X): (Looks at Gaster fearfully) O-oh okay I'll listen just don't hurt me please.
XGaster: (Smirks) Good...(Opens up Cross's tank and immediately picks up Cross and takes him to the area  where the experiments were conducted) we are here (Lays Cross on his back and Cross immediately becomes immobile)
Cross (Project X): (Chirps in fear)H-hey! What are you doing!
XGaster: (Getting the first syringe filled up with liquid determination & a golden leviathan scale was mixed with the determination ps this is what makes Cross turn immortal permanently) (Suddenly XGaster summoned Cross's soul)(Smiles creepily) I got this golden scale from the Puerto Rico reefs 90% sure this scale came from a different species of mer so I crushed it up and mixed it with with liquid determination! Hahaha!
Cross: (Is trying to move but can't and he whines fearfully)
XGaster: (Pokes the needle into Cross's Soul and then he injected a golden & red liquid into Cross's soul)
Cross (Project X): (He somehow feels some of his soulmates magic pour into him and it made his soul super powerful and the magic form his god like soulmate it made him immortal permanently) (In head) I feel my magic growing & I also feel my soulmate's magic pouring into my soul and my whole being wait I the doc actually found one of my soulmates scales!
XGaster: (Pulls the needle out of Cross's soul gently and then he puts Cross's soul back into his body and then he goes to get another syringe filled with unknown liquid which was actually filled with Gaster's blood & Papyrus's blood)
Cross (Project X): (Cross's soul began to slowly change and then his soul now has multiple colors) (In head) What is the doc doing now?
XGaster: (Come back with a another syringe in his hand and grabs Cross's arm and then sticks the needle into his arm and then he injects the liquid into his blood stream and the blood began to mix together and Cross Magic & abilities began to grow stronger because of the injection and Cross also began forming unknown abilities and then he removed the needle from Cross's arm)
Cross (Project X): (In head) What did he just injected me with? When will the experiments be done?
(16 hours later Gaster has been experimenting on Cross for 16 hours straight and Cross began to gain special abilities & more powers from the experiments and XGaster discovered that Cross was immortal now and he was in shock Gaster did a few more experiments then he decided to continue the rest of the experiments tomorrow and he decided to put Cross in a small tank until Cross's new tank got here and then Gaster picked Cross up and set Cross into the small decorated tank and Cross was passed out/Sleeping from the pain he was in because of all the experiments that were done on him)
Cross (Project X): 💤
XGaster: (Smirks evilly) Adam when will the new tank get here?
Adam: It will get here by tomorrow morning sir um how where the experiments sir were the successful?
XGaster: Yes it was very successful I'll be giving project x more fish tonight because he cooperated with me oh what did you do with the remaining dust & sea foam from Project X's brother?
Adam: I put the remaining dust & sea foam on the beach so the female shark mer will know that one of her pups died.
XGaster: Very good watch Project X while I'll get his dinner.
(XGaster then leaves the room to get Project X's dinner)
Adam: (Looks at the small shark pup in sadness and sighs) I wish I could help you little one.
Cross (Project X): 💤
Adam: (Looks at Cross's tail) Huh you have a beautiful colored tail little one.
Cross (Project X): (Slowly beginning to wake up and he rubs his eye sockets softly and he yawns)
Adam: Oh little one you're awake!
Cross (Project X): (Curls up onto his side and hides)
Adam: .......
(XGaster then comes back with 7 little frozen fish)
XGaster: Project X I brought you dinner!
Cross (Project X): (Un curls and swims towards the glass)
XGaster: (Throws the 7 small frozen fish into the tank)
Cross (Project X): (Begins to shred the fish into pieces with his claws when XGaster activates the shock collar around Cross's neck) Eep! (Yelps from the pain)
XGaster: Project X you're not an animal.
Cross: (Chirps sadly when XGaster yelled at him for giving into his instincts)
XGaster: you're not a wild animal so stop acting like one! (activates Cross's shock collar again and he puts it on the highest voltage)
Cross (Project X): (Gets shocked and begins to cry and scream from the pain) Ahhhhhh ack ahhhhhh hah ahhhhhh! (Suddenly Cross passes out)
XGaster: I hope Project X learned his lesson.
Adam: (Looks at the baby shark mer in worry)
XGaster: Let's lock up my lab it's time to go home.
