Nick's POV

I woke up to the sound of the dreaded noise of my phone alarm going off. I really didn't want to get up, but it was the first day college. I didn't want to give off a bad vibe on the first day, so I dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom. After washing up I put on a black polo and some khakis. As I walked out my room and headed to the kitchen I saw Tyler sitting on the couch putting some things in his bag. As soon as I noticed him he looked up at me with a smile.

" Good morning beautiful", Tyler said with a toothy grin.

" Good morning", I said shyly.

I couldn't help, but blush when he called me beautiful. Although we are a couple now, I'm still trying to get used to things.

"Why are you dressed so fancy", Tyler teased?

"Why are you dressed so poorly," I mockingly said?

"I'm wearing my jogging pants and my varsity football jacket over this", Tyler pouted.

We both laughed and began to make a small breakfast before we leave. I just made me some toast while he made some pop tarts.

"Wait what about Ryan and Leo", Tyler asked?

" Their classes don't start till 9 o'clock", I said

"That's not fair they can sleep in while we go we have to go to school at 7", Tyler roared.

I swear sometimes he acts like my little brother.

After we finished eating, Tyler and I drove to the university. It wasn't too far from our dorm complex, but I wasn't going to walk. When we arrived I was shocked at how many furs where there. I was nervous, but in the middle of my thoughts felt a hand. It was Tyler's hand. I looked up and met Tyler's gaze.

"Hey I know your nervous, but everything will be ok," Tyler said in a soft tone.

" But what about us", I said.

I was talking about us being an openly gay couple. I didn't know what furs would think about us. I also was afraid of what furs would do if they found out that were gay. I've had too many encounters back  in high school and they will always stick with me as bad memories.

" Hey don't worry we'll be fine... well keep our relationship close ok," Tyler said with a soft smile?

"O-ok", I said.

We quickly, but lovingly kissed each other before grabbing or bags from the back seat and went to our classes. 

As I was walking to my class I couldn't help, but to worry how the day is going end up.
