|Yule Ball|
A/N: I'm sorry for such a long chapter, sorryyyy.
It was nine o'clock a saturday mornig, Judith was late for breakfast. She put on her school robe and went down to the great hall for breakfast. She saw Draco near the end of the table, he sat alone so Judith decided that she would sit down beside him.
"Good morning" Judith said happily as she filled her plate with food. "Good morning, you exited for the ball?" Draco answered coldly and continued eating his breakfast.
"In fact i am, Blaise asked me to be his date" Draco choked on a piece of bacon
"Blaise?! What do you mean Blaise asked you?" Judith looked at him confuesed.
What did he mean with that? Why couldn't Blaise ask her to the ball?
"What do you mean with that?" Judith asked angrily. Draco just shook his head "Nothing, just surprised that's all" as he rolled his eyes.
Judith frowned and sprinted out of the great hall. When she reached the common room she was out of breath "Hippogriff" she said gasping for air. The portrait flung open and relived the common room, she noticed that everybody was in the great hall for breakfast so she took the opportunity to read in peace.
Judith went up to her dormitory to get her "Hogwarts: A History" book. Judith enjoyed reading that book, about the headmasters and how the school was built from scratch. She picked up the book and went downstairs.
Judith read for about two hours, it's crazy how time flies right? Well the common room was filled with people, and every single person was talking about the ball. But Judith wasn't in the mood of talking, she just couldn't get what Draco said out of her head.
It may not seem much to worry about but to Judith it was a big deal. Was Blaise just messing with her? Was it a bet? She has to ask him. Judith jumped out of the couch and went looking for Blaise. She found him standing with Draco outside the great hall.
"Hey Blaise, could I talk to you for a minute?" "Zabini you in trouble?" Draco said teasingly.
Judith and Blaise walked outside the castle and sat down on a cement bench.
"Do you know why Draco was so surprised when I told him you asked me to the ball? Blaise looked at her confused.
"Yea, I do actually.." "He was surprised because he didn't think I had the guts to ask you. That's why he was surprised" Judith was confused.
Why wouldn't he have the guts to ask her out.? Was she scary or something? "Well alright, thank you for telling me Blaise. I thought it was a bet or something haha" Blaise face lighted up with a smile.
" I wouldn't bet on you haha, you're my friend" They returned back to Draco when they saw Crabbe and Goyle talking with him.
Judith said goodbye to Blaise as she continued walking. It was already two pm it, lunch had already been served. She walked to the great hall for dinner and ate. She sat alone but she didn't really mind, it was quite relaxing sitting alone.

It was two hours till the ball began Judith was nervous. Stephanie, Bobbie and Judith had promised that they would help each other get ready. Judith had also promised Hermione that they would meet after the champions had danced with their dates. I wonder who she is going with.
They started with Bobbie. Stephanie did her make up and Judith did her Hair. Bobbies dress was a beautiful dark green dress that was cut right below her knees. Judith made her shoulder length straight hair into gorgeous curls.
Stephanie's was a long loose lilac dress with silver embroidery on the upper body. Judith made Stephanie's hair into a tight fitting bun with white flowers around it.
And last but not least we had Judith's dress. A long loose blue lace dress with a lot of embroideries on it. Trees, flowers and birds. Bobbie made Judith's hair into a beautiful up-do with a big sparklingly hairpin in the back.
It was now 7:45 pm, only fifteen minutes left until the ball starts and Judith stood in front of the big mirror. "C'mon Judith lets go, you look fine" Stephanie whined.
They walked downstairs to the packed common room. Stephanie and Bobbie decided to stay in the room but Judith got a little bit claustrophobic so she had to get out of there. She walked out of the dungeons, she saw the great hall and Blaise.
Judith started to get more nervous. She hide behind a stone pillar before Blaise could see her. She took a deep breath and started to walk down the hall.
Blaise was wearing a complete black suite with a black bow tie, he looked very handsome. Judith saw his face light up when she came closer.
"Wow, you look beautiful" Judith felt a blush creeping up on her cheeks. "Thank you Blaise, you look quite handsome yourself" Blaise held out his arm for Judith to grab it.
They walked in to the packed ball arms linked. After a bit of talking Mcgonagall came in and told everyone to stand on each side of the room. Everyone did as she said that and maybe after a minute the first champion came in with its date.
First was Cedric Diggory with Cho Chang,
then it was Fleur Delacour with Roger Davies,
after that came Viktor Krum with Hermione Granger. That's right, Hermione went with Krum.
Last came Harry Potter with Parvati Patil.
After the first song ended, more couples flooded over the dance floor. Judith, however stood still, she tried to look for Blaise.
But everywhere she looked she caught boys staring at her, they looked away.
Where the hell was Blaise? He can't just disappear. Judith sat down on a chair around a round table. But it wasn't long until someone spoke to her.
"Can I have a dance?" A voice said behind her. When she turned around. Draco Malfoy stood there, his hand outstretched for her to take it.
"Excuse me?" Judith questioned, kinda chocked since he had his own date. Pansy was so going to kill her.
"You heard me. One dance?" "Why?, what about Pansy?" Draco looked kinda annoyed. "Well, you're sitting here alone in the corner of the room, and I don't really like pansy so.." Draco pointed out.
Judith thought for a minute, what harm could it do, honestly? Pansy already hated her, it's not that it can get worse. Besides she really wanted too.
"Ugh,.. What the hell?" Judith shrugged. She didn't have anything to lose. Draco took her hand (her face flushed red), and led her onto the dance floor as another song started.
It wasn't a slow song, but it wasn't The Weird Sisters' usual tune. It was a regular waltz, and Judith rather enjoyed this one. Draco placed his other hand on her waist, and she placed her arm on his shoulder.
Some people were staring as the two swept across the dance floor. The bookworm and the schools prat.. What a pair.. "Why did you agree to dance with me?" He inquired as they spun around the room.
"What, you didn't want me to?" "I didn't say that," he replied "I mean, since you went here with Blaise" Judith fell silent.
"I didn't have anything to lose I guess, pansy already hates me and Blaise just disappeared. Plus no one else wanted to dance with me.."
Draco lifted his eyebrows. " Are you kidding? Everyone's been staring at you," he said in disbelief. Every boy without a date (and some with dates too) had their eyes on her.
"only because i was alone sitting in the corner, you twat. It's not like they were interested." She explained, thinking this was true. "Judith, really?" He said. "You're too oblivious".
"What does that mean? She grilled in an accusing tone. "It means, that every boy here was too scared to ask. I mean, look at you. You rival that of Flu Decor, or whatever her name is" Judith groaned.
"You're a fucking liar--" "you're fucking blind" Draco interrupted. You were both quite for a moment. "Why are you telling me this?" Draco paused before answering. "Because you like me." He eventually said.
He looked smug, but on the inside, alarm bells were going off in his head. "W-What?!" "You like me" he repeated. "Why else would you want to dance?" "Because nobody else wanted to dance you bloody idiot, I already told you that!" Draco looked amused.
"And I told you that you were wrong, didn't I?" "That Doesn't mean anything! And anyways, why'd you ask? You asked me in the first place, so going by your logic, you like me!"
Then the music faded softly away, and the song was over. Judith and Draco stopped moving, and left looking into each other's eyes. Everything around them seemed frozen.
Draco's eyes flickered down to her lips like they have done so many times before. But the trance was broken when a more rock-n-roll song started to play loudly across the hall. Judith and Draco pulled away from each other, completely silent. Draco motioned for her to follow him, and so she did.
Draco led her out of the great hall and trough a few corridors to an empty one. He stopped, and she stopped with him. What came next? Did anything come next? But before she could say anything, Draco had his hands cupped around her face.
He wasn't kissing her-- but it still made her speechless. Slowly he got closer, she didn't know why, but she was a tiny bit scared. Then she realized that she'd never kissed anyone before. Would I be bad at it? Would he? Her mind was going at a million miles a minute, and it wasn't slowing down.
Before she knew what to do, he was kissing her. And she kissed back. It was really nice actually, that she almost forgot how weird it was. But that bliss came crashing down when a familiar voice came down the corridor.
"Oh, my god!" They both pulled away immediately. "No, Hermione! Wait!"
