Judith worked diligently in Aritmancey, and it seemed like Pierce had settled down to work on the assignment as well. Under professor Vector's instructions, they were given several names and were set to decipher the
"Character Number," the "heart number" and the "social number" and then come up with reasonable trend that would take place for that person in the future. Judith enjoyed Aritmancey because she enjoyed working with numbers. But she wasn't even near as good as Pierce, he was able to calculate numbers in his head, without having to use paper to double check his answers.

"How do you do that?" Judith asked Pierce

He glanced up from his work and glanced over in Judith's direction to find her looking at him.

"I'm sorry, what?" He said

"How are you figuring out.. You haven't written a single number down. How could you possibly remember all the numbers of a name and then add them up?" Judith question him. She was slightly upset by the lack of work he had to do.

"Well..I..um.." He sat up in his seat and turning to face her. "Have you heard of the Method of Loci?" He asked her.

"I remember reading it in a book somewhere, yes." Judith nodded.

"Well, I suppose the way I see the number layout that we use in this class is my own form of the method. I can recall the sequence of numbers quite vividly in my head. It's just a matter of storing and pulling retained memories is all."

"Where did you learn it? Or is it something you can't learn..?"

"I'm not sure, I'm convinced I picked it up from my father. He has always had it easy with remembering stuff. Pierce said.
"But I suppose you could learn it..after all it's a form of mnemonic device."

"Do you think you could show me sometime..?" She asked him.

"I'd be delighted to Judith. I'm sure you would probably pick it up quite easily."

The class was dismissed and Judith and Pierce was on their way to meet up with Jack. The three walked to the great hall and walked to their tables.  Judith sat down at the Slytherin table and filled her plate with all sorts of food. After a while Draco joined her at the table , he seemed pretty down so she nudged his shoulder. Draco lifted up his head for a brief moment to see Judith waving a piece of bacon in his face.

"I don't want bacon Judith"

"But, but it's bacon. Bacon makes everything better. Bacon is love. Bacon is life."

Draco just rolled his eyes and continued eating his food in peace.

"So how was the Aritmancey this whole morning?"

"It went okay, I asked Pierce if he could teach me The Method of Loci!"

Draco looked at her with jealousy. "So Pierce, he's a Ravenclaw? You like him?"

"Yeah he's probably the smartest Ravenclaw you'll ever meet haha. Ooo, someone's jealous?" Judith smirked

Draco just snorted and rolled his eyes.

It was the end of the year. Judith stood beside Jack and Pierce on the platform in Hogsmeade to board the Hogwarts express. Judith was just as sad as when she left Gloria and Edward at Moenia academy. She could feel the little ache in her chest. But she boarded the train pretending not to be sad. Judith would have Jack, Pierce and maybe even Draco to be with, but that didn't mean she would be any less upset all summer. As she boarded the train to head back to her aunt, her eyes caught with shinning grey ones. Both of them stood there for a bit before Draco seemed to realize that he'd been staring too long. He Smiled and sat down in a compartment down near end of the train. After he was gone Judith still kind of stood there, even though she weren't quite sure why.

"Judith?" Pierce inquired.

"H-huh?" She snapped out of the daze she were in.

"What were you looking at?" Pierce asked.

Oh, it was..nothing, Pierce." She lied. "Just..daydreaming, I guess.."

The trio walked into a compartment and sat down.
They started to talk about sports. Everything from muggle sports to quidditch.

"Honestly Pierce, how can you be so smart yet so dumb when it comes to sports? Viktor Krum! He plays for the Bulgarian quidditch team."

"Oh..that's nice. Good for him." Pierce answers as he had his nose in a book.

"You see, this is why we should have gone to the quidditch World Cup, you would know these things."

"He don't want to know those things, Jack. He don't care about them." Judith laughs

"But.. It's quidditch."

"We really need to work on you debating skills." Pierce told him. "They're beyond rusty my friend. "

They talked and laughed for hours. They played different games and asked questions about Pierce's crush at Hogwarts. Judith and Jack still haven't figured out who he liked. Which they find very frustrating. Jack asked about the summer and the three determined that they would meet up a week before the school starts to buy all the things for their fifth year at Hogwarts. They also decided to stay at Judith aunts place the last week since her house was the closest I both diagon alley and king's cross st. in London. The train stopped, Judith took her suitcase and walked out of the train with Pierce and Jack.

"Promise you will write to me as often as you can or I will die of boredom. Judith inquired.

"Of course we will love." Pierce stated as he hugged her.

"It will be boring without you too." Jack said under the hug.

The boys walked away to their families but Judith still waited for her aunt. She saw Draco standing waiting for his family too. The two looked at each other. Judith took out a small quill, a pen and piece of paper. She wrote down her address royal street 703. She walked over to Draco and handed him the small parchment.

"Send me a letter if you want to meet sometime during summer. I won't be able to be with my aunt this whole summer."

Draco took the paper and put it in his pocket. "I will. I promise."

Judith hugged him. She wrapped her arms around he's sides and just stood there. After awhile he hugged her back.

"I am so sorry for how I have acted the last months and you're right I can't blame all this on you. I'm sorry."

"Hey, it's fine. I would be upset too if I lost my friends. But of course, you are really my only real friend. "

Judith let go of him and so did Draco. Her aunt was here, and so was Draco's parents. The three stood and talked. They looked at the teenagers with a smile. Well Hera and Narcissa smiled. Lucius just stood there with disgust in his look. Judith and Draco walked up to them. Judith hugged her aunt and Draco stood and talked to his mother.

"Promise to write to me." Judith shouted as they left king's cross station. Draco smiled and nodded. Maybe this summer wouldn't be so bad as she thought..
