|Christmas|

It was Christmas Morning and Judith woke up to the sound of the bedroom door creak. She opened her eyes to see Draco standing in the door way looking at her with a kind smirk on his face.

"Good Morning sunshine, slept well?" Draco said and opened up all the curtains on the window, letting in the sunlight.

Judith groaned and dragged the cover over her head, wishing she could sleep just a few minutes more. Draco sat himself down on the side of the bed dragging the cover off Judith's body, forcing her to wake up.

"C'mon, breakfast in 15 minutes!" He says and walks out the door.

Judith sits herself up and let's out a big yawn. She walks into the bathroom and turns on the shower. Letting the water get warm before she goes in.
Today Judith and Draco had to attend two different Christmas parties, one at the Lovegoods that Luna had invited Judith to, But she Said Draco was welcome as well. And the other one was the annual Malfoy Christmas gathering.
Judith took a quick shower and put on some casual clothes and walked downstairs into the kitchen where the Malfoys sat and ate breakfast.

"Good morning" said Judith with a sweet voice., Narcissa greeted her and gave Judith a bowl of homemade porridge.

They all ate up and Draco and Judith walked upstairs to get ready for the Lovegoods Christmas party that was in a few hours. Judith undressed herself, put on a emerald velvet long sleeved dress and Draco put on a burgundy velvet tailored suit, with a white shirt and a black bow tie. They wrapped Lunas Christmas present, two different gift cards. One to Zonkos joke shop and one to Honeydukes. Judith put the gift cards in her purse and her and Draco walk downstairs. The party was in thirty minutes so it was time to leave.

"Judith," said Draco, keeping his voice soft. "What in the name of Circe and Morgana is that hanging over the mantel?"

Judith coughed, "Luna likes to make homemade gifts and Christmas decorations." She smiled weakly. "I think that's a Christmas wreath made of lettuce." She frowned. "Or maybe cabbages."

"Cabbages," Draco said flatly. He blinked, unsure he was actually seeing what he clearly was. "And are those...radishes and cumquats?"

"I think so?" Judith shrugged. "I did mention how the Lovegoods are different when it comes to the holidays, didn't I?"

Draco snorted. "There's different and then there's fucking gone."

"Shh!" hushed Judith. "Try to be nice."

"Nice?" Draco hummed. "I've not climbed up onto the mantel and tried to eat the Christmas wreath, have I? I'd say that's nice given the options on the buffet table."

Judith sighed. "If you're good, we can stop and get some sweets on the way home."

Draco brightened immediately. "Now that sounds like a plan." He glanced over at the drinks. "Looks like there's tea over there, that should be safe enough—"

"No!" Judith grabbed his arm. "Trust me," she hissed. "Never drink tea made by a Lovegood."

Draco winced. "Right. We can't drink, we can't eat, and we can't mock the decorations. What exactly can we do at this party, Judith?"

She rolled her eyes. "Just...pretend to enjoy yourself, all right?" She grinned. I thought us pure-blood types grew up learning how to fake enjoying ourselves at parties?"

"Oh," drawled Draco, "I can fake just about anything, Judith. After all, Weasley and Granger think I'm okay them these days—"

Judith snorted. "I happen to know you and Ron are on okay terms, and you're fine with Hermione."

Draco smirked. "As I said, I can fake anything."

"You are horrible." Judith poked him with her elbow and Draco winced.

"Ouch! There's no need to assault me, Judith." Draco pasted a smile to his face. "Happy Christmas, Mr Lovegood. Lovely party."

"Thank you, Draco. Hello, Judith." Lovegood leaned in. "And don't you worry about the Nargles, My Luna's taking care of them."

"I figured as much," said Judith, smiling brightly. "If you'll excuse us, we're should say hello to those people over there."

"That wasn't very subtle," murmured Draco as Judith dragged him away. "And what the fuck is a Nargle?"

"No idea, and subtlety is lost on Mr Lovegood." Judith raised an eyebrow. "Unless you'd rather we stay and listen to his theory on imaginary creatures?"

"No, thank you." Draco shuddered. "How long do we have to stay?"

"We should at least say hello to Luna."

"Oh, hello, Judith. Draco."

Draco and Judith spun around to see Luna standing behind them, a brightly wrapped package in her hands. "I made this for you."

"Oh, thanks." Judith accepted the present gingerly and gave Luna her gift.

Draco eyed the wrapping, which depicted a  ferret and a black swan frolicking together. He blinked, checking it more closely. It looked like the swan and the ferret were getting into some rather intimate activity. "Are they—?"

"Oh yes," said Luna, smiling vacantly. "They really like to shag. Charming the paper was fun. Oh, the gift is homemade, too. I think you'll like it."

After she'd wandered off, Draco looked at Judith. "I'm not sure whether I should be intrigued or horrified."

Judith smiled. "I'm frequently both when it comes to Luna, so welcome to my world." She tucked the gift into her purse.

"Are we actually going to open that?" Draco muttered as Judith steered him towards the door.

"We should know what it is so when she asks us how we liked it later we'll know how to reply," said Judith.

"That's fair. Although, given the wrapping paper, I'm a bit scared to see what's inside."

Laughing, Judith slid her arm around Draco's waist jokingly . "Don't worry. I'll protect you from anything too scary."

"And if it's a ferret sized dildo?" Draco asked, eyebrow raised.

Judith grinned. "Since when do you need protecting from that?"

Draco hummed. "Fair point. Right, I'm for dinner."

"Agreed." Judith patted her purse . "And perhaps we'll even have dessert."

Judith and Draco left the party a bit early so They could change and get ready for the next party. They got home right in time, there was 10 minutes until all the guests would arrive, Judith hurried up the stairs into the guest room to change into a long, black, Off the Shoulder dress. She put her hair into a big bun and walked downstairs again.

   "You look gorgeous," Draco remarked.

   "Thank you."

When she came down she could barely think. Everything was decorated elegantly with different shade of white and gold. There were house elves everywhere, most were carrying around platters of food. He led Judith to a large table in the dining room. His father was sat at the head of the table and his mother was sitting next to him. Judith gave them a polite smile and they smiled back, or well Narcissa did. Draco pulled Judith back down the length of the table to your seat. She finally felt that she  could breath again once she sat down. Judith has always found large crowds a bit scary and easily got claustrophobic. Draco rubbed small circles on her hand with his thumb. Mr. Malfoy gave a small speech and made a few toasts before setting everyone free to dance. The room was full of people so Judith and Draco were pressed together. There was a full orchestra playing lovely music.

Judith didn't know much about dancing and feared that people would notice. She imagined tons of eyes on her watching her every movement. Judith pressed her face into his chest so that she didn't have to look out into the dense crowd.

"Are you alright love?"

   "No, not really."

"I know there's a lot of people, all of which are strangers to you but it'll be alright." These words comforted her slightly but she were still pretty nervous.

After a few moments Draco could feel that her nerves had only decreased a bit. "Let's get out of here and get some air." He grabbed Judith's hand and led her through the crowd.

When they escaped the ballroom he led her through the house. Finally, a narrow hallway opened into a big sitting room. There was a big green sofa with a black fur throw. It was sat i front of a large fireplace that had twirling green fire in it.

   "Have a seat," Draco said.

Judith sat down on the sofa and Draco disappeared around the corner. The sofa was comfy and a bit soothing. Judith were just glad to not have to be in that room full of people. Within a few moments Draco was back in the room holding a small box.

He sat down next to her on the sofa and put his hand on her knee.

"Better dear?" Judith nodded. "Fantastic. I've gotten you something." He handed her the box.

   "Draco you didn't have to."

"Of course I did love, just open it up."

Judith opened it to find a necklace with glittering jewels. She gasped.

   "Draco.."

"Let me put it on you."

Judith turned away from him and moved her hair out of the way. He slipped the necklace out of the box and onto her neck. It rested high on her chest. When she turned back around he was staring at her with a smile.

"It looks fantastic on you." Judith wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

He smiled against her lips. Both of them could have stayed there forever, her arms around his neck, his around her waist. It was perfect.
