As I confess to Optimus why I was running from my father, I felt something I hadn't felt in a long, long time. I felt safe, cared about

Optimus: "Rose what is that other reason you ran from home?"

Rose: "I ran because I was unwanted, there was no one there who cared for me. The only one who did care was my mother, unfortunately she passed away when I was 6"

Optimus: "How long has it been since that day Rose? If you dont mind me asking."

Rose : "No not at all Optimus. It has been 9 years since my mother died.Nime lomg years was I beaten over and over again until I finally couldn't bare it any longer."

Optimus: "What of your father? What will become of him?"

Rose: "I dont wanna seem mean but I dont really much care for him he doesn't do anything with me like a father is supposed to do with his daughter. All he does is beat me and blame for the death of my mother."

Optimus: "I am sorry for your loss Rosemary."

I was suprised when he said my full name. But I was wondering how he new my fyll name if I never told him

Rose: "H-how do you know my full name?"

Optimus: "I didnt I assumed it was your name. Back on my home planet we had plenty of femme that were called Rosemary and I assumed you were called Rosemary."

Rosa: "Oh, but Optimus please just call me Rose."

Optimus: "Why do you insist on everyone calling you Rose and not Rosemary. I believe it is a beautiful name."

I didn't know if Optimis could feel wat I felt but I did feel myself blushing a little as he mentioned the beauty of my name

Rosa: "Uhhh....... Thank you ....Optimus."

Optimus: "You are most welcome Rose."

As Optimus and I continued to talk he told me about his planet as I asked about it

Rose: "Optimus? Why did you come to Earth?"

Optimus: "Our planet is uninhabitable raveged by centeries of civil war."

Rose: "Why were you fighting a war?"

Optimus: "For our supply of energon the fuel and life blood for autobots and decepticons alike"

Rose: "What are Decepticons? "

Optimus: "They are similar to the autobots but bring destruction of all even death. All under the order of their leader Megatron my mortal enemy"

I wasn't sure if Optimus knew but I heard a slight edge in his voice almost like if the decepticons had done something very wrong

Rose: "What has he done?"

Optimus: "He has killed many we autobots care for including one I loved most."

Rose: "I am sorry for your loss Optimus."

Optimus: "Thank you Rose."

As we headed back to base, I got a phone call from my dad I hesitated to answer the phone

Optimus: "Are you going to receive that?"

Rose: "Uhh yes."

Victor: "ROSE. GET YOUR ASS HOME NOW."

He was yelling so much even Optimus heard it through the other end

Rose: "IM NOT GOING HOME. NOT NOW. NOT EVER. I'LL DIE FIRST IF I HAVE TO LIVE WITH YOU VICTOR."

I said his name signaling that the father she had was dead to him. I hung up the phone tears rolling down my eyes. Optimus stood in silent concern as we pulled up on a cliff. He opened his passenger door and I got out.He transformed right afterwards

Optimus: "Rose? Are you all right?"

Rose: "I-Im fine Optimus."

Optimus: "You told your father that you werent going home. You are welcome to stay with us."

Rose: "Thank you Optimus, but I can't. You have done so much for me I can't possibly ask for more."

Optimus: "Rosemary I insist."

Optimus made the offer with a comfortimng smile that slowly crawled the across his faceplate.

Rose: "Optimus if I may stay with the autobots wat am I to do im just merely a human. What can I possibly do because I know you autobots are all of working together and all but......what can I do?"

Optimus P.O.V

I thought about Rose's question not knowing what to say until it occurred to me a big step for a human

Optimus: "Rose you can teach us the ways of Earth and after that there is something that I would like to ask you."

Rose: "What would that be Optimus?"

Optimus: "If you do not plan on going back to your home and you say you would feel useless to us then how would you like to become an autobot?"

I knew it might have to much for her to take in but I wanted to make her feel cared for and loved though I know it was too much for a Prime like myself to ask

Rose: "I would love to Optimus."
