The Next Day

General Narration

Ratchet looked at his moniters as he watched over Lithium while Night Bird was on patrol with Bulkhead, Miko, and Bumblebee. Bluestreak, Wing-Blade, Rosemary, and Orion watched Jack and Rafael play video games. The rest of the autobots were off training in the training room testing their moves after beeing in a base for a year with no deception activity lately. Their weren't fighting as much ad they used to. And this worried Optimus alot.

Optimus: "The decepticons have been very quiet latley. It worries me."

Shadow: "You worry too much sweetspark. None of us haven't been going out much. Only for patrol."

Arcee: "I agree with Opttimus on this one. When it's very quiet decepticons tend to come up with something that will wipe us all out."

Shadow: "Good point."

Cliffjumper: "I miss the decepticons. I miss pounding decepticons into lobbing balls."

Optimus: "We all do."

A while later everyone got their wish. Ratchet called into the training room calling all the autobots into the main room. Night Bird had returned from patrol with her small team as the autobots gathered along with Orion, Rosemary, Bluestreak, and Wing-Blade.

Optimus: "What is the matter?"

Ratchet: "I dont know an autobot emergency becon went off."

Arcee: "An autobot emergency becon? Here?"

Shadow: "Huh?"

Arcee: "Our becon. When something or someone is out in the open with our insignia."

Optimus: "Shadow, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Bulkhead, Bumblebee you will all accompany me to investigate."

Arcee: "Let's roll."

Bulkhead: "Alright my fist have been itchin to pound some cons."

Ratchet activated the groundbridge waking up Lithium. Ratchet groaned miserably as Night Bird chuckled.

Optimus: "Autobots Roll Out."

They all walked through the groundbridge coming into a canyon. They were alerted by the sound of drilling over the hill. Optimus activated his plasma blasters as Shadow drew her claws, razored wings, and poisned fangs as her eyes turned from a gold to a bright blue, Arcee activated her twin blasters while Cliffjumper transformed his cervos to cannons, while Bulkhead activated his wrecking ball and blaster, and Bumblebee activated his stingers. They looked over the hill seeing Decepticons and Megatron himself. They stopped drilling as Megatron walked over with a smile on his faceplate. He lifted the container as his troops began shooting.

Optimus: "Autobots attack."

Megatron turned around and set the relic down. He grinded his sharp dentas and drew his sword and ran in Optimus's direction. Before Megatron could get to Optimus, Shadow leaped up landing on Megatron's shoulders by her legs. She wrapped them around his neck and pulled her weight backwards sending Megatron into a wall. She nodded at Optimus and he nodded back. Optimus spotted the relic and called base.

Optimus: "Optimus to base do you read?"

Ratchet: "We hear you Optimus what is the matter?"

Optimus: "I have a visual on the relic. Send Orion to retrieve and get him back to base as soon as he has it. Orion we need your speed."

Orion: "I got your back dad."

Ratchet sent Orion through were the relic was. He looked at his comrades fighting. He was amazed. Optimus vs Megatron, Shadow vs Starscream, Arcee vs Airachnid, Bulkhead vs Breakdown and Bumblebee vs Knockout, and Cliffjumper vs Vehicons. Orion smiled and shot a few vehicons on Cliffjumper then headed to the groundbridge. Megatron turned his attention to Orion and got angry. He pushed Optimus out of the way and ran for Orion. Orion's optics widend as he kept running. Optimus got up and ran after Megatron as he relized he was about to attack his son. Megatron fired his cannon at Orion as he relized he wasn't going to make it to him. Shadow stopped fighting and looked towards her son optics widend she too ran towards him.

Orion: "AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHH."

Orion fell to the ground holding his side. He looked up to see Megatron standing before him. He drew his sword and placed it at his spark. The groundbridge to the autobot's base was closed. It seemed Megatron didnt recognize Orion from when he was a sparkling.

Megatron: "What is your name autobot?"

Optimus and Shadow stopped dead in their tracks, fearing what he may do their son.

Orion: "Why? Who wants to know?"

Megatron was enraged but then looked up seeing his troops had fallen the only ones standing were Starscream, Airachnid, Knockout, and Breakdown. A few vehicons remained as they took hold of Arcee. Breakdown and Knockout had Bulkhead and Bumblebee pinned down. Starscream went behind Shadow and grabbed her wrist in a painful position behind ner back. He was very careful with her wings. Airachnid had a spider leg pinned on Cliffjumper's spark chamber. If he moved she would slaughter him.

Megatron:"He seems very young to be on the field Optimus. Why is he out here anyway."

Optimus didnt answer only narrowed his eyes at Megatron as he transformed his cervo into his guns. He prepared to fire but was cut off by Starscream as his sharp digits wrapped around Shadow's neck.

Starscream: "Ah ah ah Don't move or I cut her throat open. Megatron seemed to be amused by Starscream's preformance he didnt notice Orion call for backup. A portal opened beside Megatron as BloodClaw jumped out kicking Megatron in the faceplate followed by Rosemary, Wing-Blade, Night Bird, Razor-Blade, and Bandit ran through going up to every decepticon they spotted shooting until they fleed. BloodClaw transformed into her beast mode which was a cybertronion black lion with violet optics and violet highlights throughout her paint job. Megatron arose and was face to face with the beast he knew all too well. The devil beast from Kaon. The beast he was never able to defeat.

Megatron: "Well well well. If it isn't BloodClaw the devil of Kaon."

BloodClaw: "Long time no see Megatronous."

Megatron: "NEVER CALL ME BY THAT NAME AGAIN YOU INSOLENT WRETCH."

BloodClaw: "Why because it was the designation you had when you lost to me or is it because when you were a good little mech."

Megatron's optics flared with hate as he charged at BloodClaw. Fortunately for BloodClaw she knows all of Megatron's move from the gladiator arena back on Cybertron. He never lay a digit on her. She lunged at Megatron sinking her fangs into Megatron's arm. He swung him around until he hit the canyon wall.

Optimus: "BloodClaw Fall Back Now."

BloodClaw looked at Megatron as he arose. She smiled as he held his helm in pain.

BloodClaw: "Sorry darling but I've got more important things than to deal with you."

BloodClaw walked through the groundbridge followed by Optimus. He looked back at Megatron and smiled under his battle mask, thinking to himself.

Optimus: "Farewell Loser."

Megatron came running towards him but the groundbridge closed behind Optimus closing the path to the autobot base. Orion successfully retrieved the relic after the commotion. He opened the container and pulled it out. Everyone gasped and admired the weapon.

Ratchet: "The Spark Extractor."

Optimus took hold of it and placed a cervo on his son. He smiled as Orion smilled back.

Optimus: "Are you alright son?"

Orion: "Yeah I'm fine Dad. He only got my side. It hurts but I'll live."

Ratchet walked up to him and scanned his body to ensure everything was alright.

Ratchet: "He'll be fine."

Optimus smiled and went into the relic vault. He opened the door and placed the Spark Extractor carefully on the stand. He closed the door and walked back to the main room. Everyone chattered about how good it felt to fight once again as the others complained about how they weren't there. Optimus smiled and went to the elevator and went outside. He sat on the edge of the cliff and looked up at the orange pinkish sky. He heard footsteps behind him and turned around. Orion Jr, Rosemary, and Shadow came up to him as they too sat next to him. Optimus and Shadow were in between as Orion sat on the left of Optimus and Rosemary sat to the right of Shadow. Optimus placed an arm around Shadow and continued to look up.

Orion: "It's beautiful isn't it?"

Rosemary: "It sure is."

Shadow: "Nothing compares to the beauty of a sunset like a happy family."

Optimus: "Because you are all beautiful just like the sunset."

Shadow, Optimus, Rosemary, and Orion looked at the setting sun until it disappeared as the earth became dark and was illuminated by the light of a beautiful full moon.
