As Megatron battled Optimus, the rest of the autobots took care of the decepticon drones. It wasnt long nefore I felt an unbearable pIn in my spark I got down on my knees andplaced my cervo over my breast plate. I looked at where Optimus was and stared in horror as Megatron had his sword go through his abdomen and shot out through his lower back.

Shadow: " OPTIMUS NOOOO!!"

Arcee P.O.V

I looked in the direction of Shadow's sight and couldn't believe what I saw.

Arcee: " NOO!"

Bumblebee: " BIG BOT NO!!"

All the the autobots and decepticons stopped fighting to see Shadow staring straight at Megatron with a look that she called the devil's look. Megatron simply smiled at Shadow. All the autobots backed away slowly as we knew what was about to happen. Shadow's great power was more powerful than before. It became stronger. Though we all were going to enjoy Shadow's preformance.

Jazz: "He's busted."

Bulkhead: "Totally."

Bumblebee: "Yup."

Shadow began to growl. She grew a pair of very sharp dentas, deadly poisned claws, and a pair of razored wings . She blasted off without hesitation.

Shadow: "MEGATROOOOOOONN YOU'LL PAY DEARLY FOR THAT !!"

Megatron frooze in his tracks and couldn't see Shadow because of her speed. He look in all directions. He finally pinpointed her, but it was to late for Megatron. We all saw in amazement as Shadow did a short work of Megatron as he tried to fight back.

Bumblebee P.O.V

I saw Shadow sink her sharp dentas into Megatron's shoulder and sink her claws into Megatron's wrist on an important vain. He yelled out in pain as he threw Shadow off sending her into the sky. She held her balance with her wings.

Megatron: "Decepticons. .......Fall............Back!"

Jazz: "Ratchet get a groundbridge out here and prepare sick bay now hurry!"

Bumblebee P.O.V

Razor-Blade and I rushed towards Optimus as Shadow Star held her ultimate form in check. We relized her training had paid off since she now was able to put it away without going unconscious.

Jazz: "Shadow let's go girl. Come on."

She snapped out of her trance and went into the groundbridge. Razor-Blade came in with Optimus over his shoulder.

Ratchet: "By the AllSpark. Set him down. Quickly."

Shadow was devastated as she clutched Optimus servo in hers.

Optimus: "Sh-Sh-Shadow i-is that you?"

Shadow: "Optimus I'm so sorry."

Optimus: "Th-This is not your........ngh.......fault. It nev-er was."

Ratchet: "Shadow you must leave I need to begin."

Shadow: "No im not leaving him."

Ratchet: "Im sorry. You have to. Jazz, Bumblebee in here."

Bumblebee: "What is it."

Ratchet: "Take her I must begin to help Optimus, but I need to ne alone."

Jazz: "C'mon Shadow we have to go."

Shadow: "No I'm not leaving him."

Jazz P.O.V

Shadow couldn't leave Optimus. So Bumblebee and I carried her out. She tried to get lose from our gripp but without her power in active she didnt stand a chance. She screamed Optimus' name as we carried her away. We took her to the main control room and set her down. She tried to run back but I stopped her and held her in my arms trying to calm her down.

Jazz: "Its ok. He's gonna be ok. Ssssssshhhhhhhh.Ssssssshhhhhhhh. It's gonna be ok."

Shadow: "How do you know?"

Arcee: "Hey Shadow it's ok. Jazz knows what he's saying. We've known Optimus for a while and if we knew anything about him. It would be that he is a Prime and Primes dont go down easy. Optimus always comes back."

Shadow continued to cry in Jazz's arms not wanting him go let go. She felt so alone. She didnt want to be abandoned. So with that all the autobots in the main room gathered around and put a servo on her shoulder one servo on top of the other. She felt whole again for a while bit still lingered for Optimus.

Back on the Nemisis

Knockout: "Master you have been poisoned. Did your attacker contain any of it?"

Megatron: "Her claws "cough" contained the poison I'm sure of it "cough".

Knockout: "Then we will have to expel it with a bit of dark energon."

Megatron: "Do.......it."

Knockout: "As you wish my lord."

Knockout P.O.V

I tended to lord Megatron as Starscream, Soundwave, Breakdown, and Airachnid came in to check on our Master.

Starscream: "Master. How do you feel?"

Megatron: "I've been through worse."

Airachnid: "You're telling me that the so called legend did this to you? Well how horrible."

Breakdown: "Thats bad right?"

Megatron: "In my perspective. Yes she has humiliated me for the last time."

Soundwave: * beep, beep, beep.........beep* ("It seems your so called legend was a little too concerned of Optimus' well being. "

Megatron: "You're not suggesting that this legend and Optimus may be bondmates are you."

Soundwave: "*beep, beep.......beep (Not bondmates yet, but have feelings for each other."

General Narration

Megatron laughed at the possibility of Optimus and Shadow.

Megatron: "If that is so we know both of their weaknesses. Decepticons we must hurt them either one of them. I do know she is weak over the short work I did on Optimus Prime. Its a matter of time if he survives. If he does she will be next.

Back at Autobot HQ

Night Bird P.O.V

Everyone waited for any news on Optimus' condition. We all noticed Shadow alone pacing back and fourth not being able to contain herself. We all watched as Razor went up to her, sat her down, and began to talk to her.

Razor: "Shadow Star?"

Shadow: "Yes Razor?"

Razor: "Here come sit please."

Shadow: "Alright."

Razor: "I know that you're worried, but we, you have to stay stong if not for each other for Optimus. I know you two love eachother very much and I know it pains you to see him like this, trust me I would know."

Shadow: "Thank you Razor that means alot to me I'm glad all of you to support me. Thank you."

Razor: "We are Autobots. It is what we do and what we will always keep doing."

We all looked in Razor and Shadow's direction. They looked up at us, seeing us smile at Shadow. Then Shadow smiled, it had been her first since Optimus came in. Then we all heard footsteps as we turned. It was Ratchet.

Shadow: "Ratchet how is he."

Ratchet: "I was able to mend the wound. He's responding to the treatment quite well he'll be fine, but he is still weak."

Shadow: "Can I see him?"

Ratchet said nothing but simply nodded as he whispered in Shadow's audio receptor.

Shadow P.O.V

Ratchet whispered In my audio receptors. Tellimg me something that made me smile as my spark warmed up with happiness.

Ratchet: "He has been asking for you and has been saying your name in his recharge."

Shadow: "Really?"

Ratchet: "Yes."

I walked into the infirmary and saw Optimus lying in the medbed as he recovered from his last encounter with Megatron. I sat on the side of the mednay and grabbed his servo and held it to my faceplate and kissed it as a single tear fell from my optics and splashed on his hand.

Optimus P.O.V

I was coming back to the world I knew so well. When I awoke a smile spread across my faceplate as I saw the love of my life at my side as I awoke.

Optimus: "Sh-Shadow."

Shadow: "Oh my Primus Optimus your awake thank the AllSpark my love."

Optimus: "Shadow I love you."

Shadow: "(Sniff) I love you too honey. With all my spark."

Optimus: "I'm sorry I caused you to worry my sweetspark."

Shadow: "It's ok.Im just glad that you haven't left me."

Optimus: "That will never happen because I love you too much."

I saw the tears come out of her optics as I held her close to me. I looked at her and she looked at me both with a look no one would change. I pulled her closer so that our lips were inches away from each other. I asked her one simple question before embracing her with a kiss.

Optimus: "Shadow do you love me knowing that I must keep you out of harms way."

Shadow: "Optimus I love you because of who you are not because of what you do. There isnt another man or mech I know that is as gentle and kind as you."

I smiled at her response and with that said I embrassed her with a kiss. I gave her litfle time to react, but quickly returning the kiss. We kissed each other with more passion than ever before. But I knew the time would come when Megatron would be aware of what goes on between us. When we pulled away she asked me a question in return.

Shadow: "Optimus what will happen when the decepticons find out about me and you and try to seperate us by doing something horrible to me or you?"

Optimus: "We do whatever we can to prevent that. If it does I will do whatever I can to get you back. No matter the cost."

Shadow: "I'll do the same for however long it may take. No matter the cost."
