As they were walking suddenly a group of guards showed up and Barbatos said.

Barbatos : ah they found me again."

Mammon : ......"

Guard 1 : YOU AND YOUR FRIEND SURRENDER NOW!"

Mammon : what do we do!?"

Barbatos : ..... Run"

And with that they both took off into the forest and off the path.

And as soon as they did Mammon was ahead of Barbatos and as he looked back he Just saw guards chasing him and. Barbatos was nowhere to be found.

Mammon : I'm not surprised!"

He then just kept running  and dodging the knifes and other things being thrown at him.

But quickly came to a dead end and just stood there at the edge of the cliff.

He knew he couldn't take all of these demons by himself but the second they attempted to move.

Suddenly one guard was grabbed
By something in the trees and flung up into them. And second later was drop to the ground.

And one by one each guard was flung up and drop dead seconds after.

Some started to panic and took off while others attempted to attack whatever was killing them.

And within 5 minutes every guard was dead at least the one's that stuck around.

Then suddenly Barbatos drop from the trees and said smiling walking over cover in some blood.

Barbatos : easy prey"

Mammon : .....how can you move that quickly!?"

Barbatos : I may be quick but your quicker. I'm surprised I could keep up with you. Any faster you would of died"

Barbatos was kinda laughing it off and Mammon was looking at him like he was crazy and also felt horrified.

Mammon : it's not funny!!"

Barbatos : just be slower next time"

Mammon : .... anyway are you alright?"

Barbatos : yeah just another every other day for me. I got use to it. I just find it unfair honestly "

Mammon : find what unfair?"

Barbatos : King breaks the rules and he's the hero and the King. I break the rules? and I'm the villain? The monster which is two face to say"

Mammon : maybe he just sees you as a threat?"

Barbatos : awe that's sweet of you to say"

Mammon : .....can we go now?"

Barbatos : sure I have to wash this blood o-!?

Suddenly With no hesitation Mammon pushed Barbatos out of the way as one guard was still alive and charged at Barbatos with a sword. But because Mammon push Barbatos he got hit with it and immediately fell to the ground passing out.

Barbatos : Mammon!!"

Few hours later Mammon suddenly woke up on a bed and as he sat up he felt that he chest hurt like hell. And notice his shirt was gone and his chest was bandage up with the bandages having strange symbols on them.

Barbatos : good your awake. thought you were dead"

Barbatos said walking into the bedroom he was in. And Mammon then realized this must be Barbatos room.

Mammon : ....I... what happened?"

Barbatos : you attempted to save me but nearly got your self killed in the process. That was stupid of you to do"

Mammon : I.... well I thought you were going to die? Would of been bad if you did?"

Barbatos : it would of been bad if you also died."

Mammon : yeah....your mad I did that aren't you?"

Barbatos : one thing I can't do is bring back the dead. But no why would I be mad at all?"

Mammon : your smiling....."

Barbatos : is that a problem?"

Mammon : you also look like you want to finish the job....."

Barbatos : ......."

Mammon : so what's with the symbols?"

Barbatos : to help you heal. You were nearly basically cut open?"

Mammon : what!?"

Mammon suddenly flinch in pain and immediately fell back down on the bed in pain.

Barbatos : take it easy. If I can't die You can't either."

Mammon : sorry...."

Barbatos : anyway thanks for that even though it was stupid "

After this he walked away out of the room and Mammon decided to go back to sleep.

Later in the night time Mammon woke up again and was hungry so he quickly tried to get out of bed and immediately fell off the bed.

Mammon : damn it!"

After this he slowly got up and went out of the room to the kitchen but as he was passing through the living room.

He saw Barbatos asleep on the couch. He felt kinda bad about taking his bed but anyway as he looked at Barbatos he started thinking about something.
