(this chapter is a memory that Barbatos and Mammon are remembering)

The next day in the morning as Mammon was done getting dress up as a demon he looked at himself in a mirror.

And thought he looked pretty good and thought if Asmo was here he would also like this outfit.

He was definitely going to tell Asmo everything knowing he wouldn't tell and would eventually find out. Because Asmo could always sense Tea

Anyway as he went downstairs to meet with Barbatos. He suddenly saw him walk over looking shorter like about his height but a Little taller.

(I just wanna point out king Barbatos was slaying 24/7 he was like erza from fairy tail had outfits for every occasion 😅)

King Barbatos : I changed to seem less intimidating to you and everyone else"

Mammon : .....I don't think you can not look intimidating. But that's not a bad thing"

King Barbatos : I see. Anyhow you will blend in well"

Mammon : that will be a first "

King Barbatos: what do you mean?"

Mammon : I might be a angel but I don't exactly blend in with everyone. They can spot me a mile away......"

King Barbatos : you are different than what I expected an angel to be"

Mammon : I'm the angel of generosity. Doing things for people? giving them a chance? Is something I like to do. I think it's  good but everyone else sees it as being dumb and naive.

Probably because it never ends good for me and because I am one of the only ones who questions if demons really are that bad"

King Barbatos : I can understand that. You need to be smarter"

Mammon : honestly? Maybe?"

King Barbatos : let us go now"

After this they both left and Mammon was nervous but a little bit excited. Nothing ever exciting happened at home.

Later once in the town Barbatos and Mammon notice everyone looking at them and talking And as they walked to a stand the demon nervously bowed to Barbatos and then said.

Demon 1 : m-my king! What brings you here?"

King Barbatos : I thought it would be nice to take a walk to see what everyone is doing "

Demon 1 : oh very well then. And who is this?"

King Barbatos : my....friend? Anyhow what is this your selling?"

Demon 1 : it's devil cake would you both like to try it?"

King Barbatos : ...."

Mammon : come on I'm sure it's good?"

King Barbatos: I suppose we will"

The Demon then handed them both a piece and they then took a bite of the devil cake.

Mammon : this is really good! My brother would love this!"

Demon 1 : what do you think of it my king?"

King Barbatos : ....sweet....I like sweet"

He then took another bite seeming to enjoy it and during this Mammon started talking with the Demon wanting to know more about what they did.

Later after talking with everyone and looking at things they were taking a walk through the woods and Mammon thought it was Cool
Even though he was almost bitten three times by different Devildom animals.

And Barbatos thought everything was nice and peaceful. He liked being out and wondered what else he miss out on seeing and experiencing.

Anyway as they were walking Mammon suddenly ran over kneeling down near a tree.

And Barbatos walked over and saw him talking to a crow who had ann injured wing. A twing was in it.

Mammon : hey it's ok little guy I just wanna help ya"

The crow kept backing away scared but eventually went to him and let Mammon pick him up.

Mammon : I know that has gotta hurt. i would know I broke mine"

King Barbatos :  you can speak to it?"

Mammon : yeah I can talk to all kinds of birds"

Mammon then stood up and said talking with the crow.

Mammon : don't worry imma help you"

King Barbatos : let's go back I think this is enough for today"

After this they left back to the castle with the injured crow.

Later at the castle Mammon help the injured crow and was now talking to it while sitting by the fire place.

During this Barbatos was busy doing something but came over and saw them talking.

Mammon : yeah I know he looks scary but honestly he doesn't seem so bad.

I mean so far he seems like a cool guy and all these demons seem cool to.

They are happy and thriving and just getting by like the rest of us. .....seems like they have more freedom than angels do also"

Crow : ........"

Mammon : no way really?"

Crow : ......."

Mammon : I'm not judging? I mean you do you"

Crow : ........."

Mammon : I'm not a loser in celestial! I bet you don't have any friends either!"

Crow : ........."

Mammon : ...... really?.... "

Crow : ...... ?"

Mammon : I got my brothers?"

Crow : ....."

Mammon : ....does the king count as a friend?"

Crow : ......"

Mammon : .....ok so maybe I don't but it's whatever I'm just to great for them"

Crow : ......"

Mammon : it's not sad!"

King Barbatos : I guess I'm also sad since I do not have friends"

Mammon : yeah but you got a kingdom? Everyone wants to be your friend "

King Barbatos : the demons seem to want to be your friend? They enjoyed you listening to them and helping them"

Mammon : ha! See! I got some crow!"

Crow : ......"

Mammon : your so judgemental....."

King Barbatos : we could throw the bird into the f-

Mammon : nope! We're cool"

King Barbatos : anyhow you should get some rest"

Mammon : got it. Also thank you for being so cool"

King Barbatos : ..... your being a good guest so I will show nothing but hospitality as long as you continue to be good"
