Seconds later Barbatos was suddenly in the forest again and saw himself sitting on the ground in terrible condition like he just escaped torture.

He was bleeding everywhere especially from his stomach and had his arms wrap around it and had This dead expression on his face with dried up tears.

Thinking back at all the torture he went through was painful it was the most agonizing thing yet somehow he survived.

Anyway suddenly he saw himself get up and started limp walking away and so he Followed him to see where he would go. And on the way heard himself mumbling things.

Later they arrived at a cliff and at the edge he fell to his knees looking down at the bottom that was just water.

Memory Barbatos : I'm tired..... I'm so tired....."

Barbatos wanted to do something even though he knew this was a memory. But before he could he suddenly saw himself throw himself off the cliff.

Barbatos : Wait!"

He then quickly ran off to find a way to the bottom of the cliff to see what happened.

But by the time he got to the bottom he didn't see anything except seeing himself sink into the darkness of the water. Without fighting and letting the water fill his lungs.

Barbatos just froze as he realized he was watching himself kill himself.

Barbatos understood that he must of snap not being able to take much more of the agonizing torment he was in.

A few seconds later he saw himself suddenly come up out of the water gasping for air and swim himself to shore.

After this they started coughing up water and looking at their wounds that were healing a bit.

Then he started laughing as he stood up and Barbatos notice a change in him.

The one who was so depressed and no will to live suddenly was now laughing about almost drowning himself.

Memory Barbatos : hahahaha! That would of horrible!.... wonder how I ended up there?.....I should go home...."

During this Barbatos suddenly started to see more memories of himself switching like he Had two different personalities and then it clicked and everything stop.

Future Barbatos : I......I didn't want you to know......"

Barbatos : .....I'm nothing....all I am is a voice in your head.....this isn't my life....I'm not Barbatos...."

Future Barbatos : my life is your life and you are Barbatos"

Barbatos then looked at him and asked seeming confused and upset.

Barbatos : why did you make me?"

Future Barbatos :  I don't know. If I knew why I would tell you.... maybe it was to escape the reality of things"

Barbatos : and leave me taking the torment?"

Future Barbatos : that's not what I wanted to do I wouldn't put anyone through what we went through....."

Barbatos : but you did....all I ever was....was a shield to hide behind......"

Future Barbatos : and I'm sorry for that......"

Barbatos : .....this is why you didn't care about m-

Future Barbatos : I do care about you. Despite whatever reason you came into existing.

You saved us and you protected us and kept us alive while I couldn't.
In reality you were better than me while I just hid away from everything instead of facing it.

I should of done more for you and I'm truly sorry I didn't"

Barbatos : .....we should head back I think we've seen enough....."

Later back at the boat they saw Thirteen swinging her scythe around fighting lost souls that were climbing onto the boat.

Thirteen : a little help!"

And with that they started to help her fight the lost souls that were climbing onto the boat.

During this they also had to hurry up because their time was almost up.

During this Barbatos was suddenly grabbing by a Lost soul and was being drag off the edge but managed to kick them away.

And during this he realized the scales were balancing as he was being drag off and knew what had to be done.

He suddenly got on the edge and. Was about to jump off until Future Barbatos yelled.

Future Barbatos : what are you doing!?"

Barbatos : it will only balance if I die! So I have go....."

Future Barbatos : no there has to be another way!"

Barbatos : we don't have a choice you have to go save everyone.....I saved you once.....let me save you again....."

And with no hesitation he jumped off and Future Barbatos quickly ran to the edge and saw Barbatos become a sand statue like the other souls that didn't make it.

And he just froze there unsure of what to do but then Thirteen said as a door appeared.

Thirteen : the scale is balanced....if you go through here you can go back.....I'm sorry"

Future Barbatos : I....."

He wasn't sure what to do how could he go back without him. He didn't deserve this he deserved to be alive and not alone.

Future Barbatos honestly couldn't imagine going without him. And now just felt broken like a part of him was missing and all that was left was a void of nothing.

Thirteen : you don't have l-!?

Future Barbatos jumped off the boat.

Thirteen : .....awe how cute he didn't want to leave him behind"

As Barbatos hit the bottom he quickly got up and made his way over to Barbatos and immediately fell to his knees in front of him.

He knew he might have just risk everything ending to save Barbatos but no matter the risk he couldn't leave him alone. And even if he couldn't save him at least he wouldn't be alone and they would be together.

Future Barbatos : I....I don't know if you can hear me but ....from the moment....way back then.....

You saved me....I survived because I knew I wasn't alone....you were always there alive and full of hope.....and I tried to protect that and I failed....I couldn't protect you...."

He then notice the sand starting to cover him and said.

Future Barbatos : but you never abandoned me....you never did.....

And I could of gone back.....but I I'm not going to abandoned you.

From now on we'll always be together I promise....."

After this he hugged Barbatos and was completely taken over by the sand...........
