The next day in the morning Mammon woke up on the couch and immediately sat up remembering situation.

During this Barbatos show up and said setting some food down on the table.

Barbatos : take out. I don't know how to cook."

Mammon : that's surprising actually?"

Barbatos : why?"

Mammon : well in the future your actually a great cook like the best in Devildom or in all three realms everyone likes your food"

After this he walked away seeming a little bothered. Honestly Mammon didn't mean to hurt his feelings.

He was just scared he would never be able to go home. And Barbatos wasn't taking this seriously at all. Was acting like this was a joke and wasn't serious.

But now he had another problem he was worried he hurt Barbatos feelings who is the only one who can get him home.

He then decided he would have to apologize later so Barbatos would continue to help him get home.

It's been over an hour and Barbatos hasn't came back so Mammon got up and started looking all over the house for him but found he was gone.

Mammon : he didn't say he was leaving!?.... he's coming back right!?"

Mammon was worried So he left the house and went to look for Barbatos.

Later as he was looking he suddenly saw Barbatos hanging upside down from a tree with his tail again. Reading a book that was floating and that he was turning the pages with a flip of his finger without needing to touch the. Book.

Barbatos : this isn't a game Barbatos. Take something serious for once.....he needs your help So we have to help.

Even if every single time you attempted to help someone you just ended up ruining their life.

Mammon : are you ok?"

Barbatos then immediately shut the book and took it and drop from the tree again landing on his feet. Immediately smiling like everything was fine.

Barbatos : just doing a bit of research. Have to work hard to get you home!"

Mammon : ..... listen....I didn't mean to offend you. Last thing I need is you holding grudges on me for the next I don't how many years....."

Barbatos : that was not an apology but I'll take it since it's from you"

Mammon : so....what do you normally do?"
