Later Simeon arrived at the castle with the painting and as he walked over to the living room where everyone was. He set it down on the table and said.

Simeon : I'm surprised I remembered where she hid it. But anyway here it is"

Barbatos then walked over to it and stood in front of it for a few seconds until he uncovered the painting and was surprised by it.

The painting showed Mammon and a strange demon sitting in the garden with their foreheads touching each other and a pact mark appearing on Mammon's forehead.

This Demon looked horrifying and like a beast all of his skin was black and had claws a long tail and horns. This demon looked like a true evil creature.

Then at the bottom of the picture he saw a message that read.

"Your beauty never scared me"

Barbatos : ......."

Barbatos's Memory...........................

He was sitting in the garden with Mammon and they were talking to each other and during this Barbatos said.

Barbatos : honestly I'm surprised you can stand the sight of me"

Mammon : why?"

Barbatos : look at me? I'm not exactly pretty to look at. Even the other demons can agree I'm the most hideous one around."

Mammon : ....your beauty doesn't scare me?"

Barbatos : your joking right? Me? Beautiful? You angels are blind....or maybe just you...."

Mammon : I think you look cool actually? The only one who actually scares me is my brother."

Barbatos : the one called Lucifer correct?"

Mammon : yeah that guy. To bad you can't meet any of my brothers or my sister"

Barbatos : maybe one day time is unknowing"

Mammon : to bad we won't be able to talk anymore after you leave...."

Barbatos : maybe so....but there is something we can do so you'll remember me"

Mammon : what is it?"

Barbatos : do you know what a pact with a demon is?"

Mammon : no? What is that?"

Barbatos : it's just a pact. It leaves a invisible mark on you. And the pact you'll be able to control me anything you tell me to do I'll have to do"

Mammon : I don't want to do that to you?"

Barbatos : I know you don't. But I want to do this with you because I know you won't ever use it. It's just me letting you know I trust you"

Mammon : are you sure about this?"

Barbatos : yeah"

Mammon : ....ok if you want this. Also nobody will know about this right?"

Barbatos : nobody will know unless you tell them"

Mammon : ok....how do we do this?"

Barbatos : just this"

Barbatos then Lean over and press his forehead against Mammon's and the pact mark appeared on him then vanished.

Barbatos : all done"

Mammon : .....I promise you I'll never use it"

Barbatos : good. And even if you do I won't mind as long as it's for a good reason"

Barbatos then just smiled at him and So did Mammon.

Later Barbatos had finally left Devildom feeling better and as he got back home.

He felt off since making the pact with Mammon he felt off.

And then suddenly looked at his hands and arms and noice his claws vanishing and his skin changing.

He could feel his horns and tail and everything changing about him and then suddenly it stop.

He then looked at himself in a mirror and saw he looked different.

His skin was normal but had many black tattoos especially snake ones.

And his horns looked like broken wings and his tail and claws were now black but had this blueish green color to them now so was his hair.

He didn't understand how this happened. how he looked like this. almost like a curse was lifted off of him.

But he figured maybe it was the fact he made a pact with an Angel that maybe doing so change something about him.

But he was worried that if they ever did meet again that Mammon wouldn't recognize him even with the connection they had with the pact and their friendship.

And now.................................................

Barbatos : .....this was me...."

MC : why did you look so scary?"

Barbatos : I don't know. But in this painting it captured me making a pact with Mammon and after I did that it suddenly changed how I appeared"

Asmo : awe! like beauty and the beast!"

Simeon : it's kinda cute how Mammon didn't think you looked scary. "

Barbatos : the line she wrote that's what he said to me...."

Simeon : yeah Lillth thought it was too cute not to add....she was also going to add something else but I had to stop her"

MC : was she going to paint the first ship art!?"

Asmo : must of been. We used to ship humans together and try match making"

Belphie : right you guys tried being cupid?"

Asmo : someone had to?"

Lucifer : .... anyway.....how is it possible for a demon and angel to make a pact?"

Barbatos : it shouldn't be possible yet somehow I was able to do it......but anyway this could help us. Since we have a connection through the pact. I'll have to figure it out and that will take a bit of time....."

Lucifer : is something else bothering you?"

Barbatos couldn't stop thinking about what Mammon told his past self about everything. Couldn't get that look out of head.

Mammon was trying so hard to help his life knowing there was nothing he could do about his own life.

He could understand that feeling and in a way felt like he needed felt obligated to do the same for Mammon in any way he could.
He couldn't let Mammon continue thinking the way he did.

But he knew it wasn't his place to
Say anything about their family it wasn't his business. Yet knowing how he felt and everything Mammon was doing for him. Made him mad and knew he was taking this a little to personal and would say something he wouldn't regret but it would cause problems.

Barbatos : ..... it's best I keep it to myself. But I will say this.

When Mammon returns you all should treat him a little better just because you can't see how far someone has fallen doesn't mean they haven't fell"

Now.....I need to excuse myself for a moment"

After this Barbatos walked away and everyone was confused and Barbatos sudden change.

MC : you think it has to do with what he saw?"

Asmo : what did he see?"

Lucifer : he didn't mention it said it wasn't important."

MC : what if he knows something? That he doesn't want us to worry about?"

Lucifer : I'll talk to him...."
