Meanwhile in the present.............

Barbatos was walking around his room trying to figure some things out until Diavolo walked over to him and ask.

Diavolo : are you alright?"

Barbatos : I should be asking that?"

Diavolo : it's ok? You didn't mean to?"

Barbatos : my lord my past self attempted to kill your father in a fit of rage? How can you even look a-

Diavolo : you were just upset about whatever you went through. You didn't mean it. I know you didn't?"

Barbatos : still what I did was wrong"

Diavolo : and you realize it?. And nobody died so there's nothing to feel bad about?"

Barbatos : ....I can never understand how you can make any situation positive...."

Diavolo : your not a bad demon? That's how I can understand this"

Barbatos : .....thank you....but again I'm sorry...."

Diavolo : it's alright. Also did you hear something else on the phone? You were listening to it very closely?"

Barbatos :....."

Barbatos thought about what he heard Mammon say to him. He still couldn't understand why he say it or why he was trying to help him even after everything.

Barbatos : I...I just had an idea. We seem to be able to talk to Mammon in a place that holds importance and a connection.

If I can find the place I use to live i can try something"

Diavolo : try what?"

Barbatos : it's rather dangerous and risky but something that could help us.

I know a spell that will allow me to see what my past self is seeing and hearing through his eyes and ears.

Knowing what they are talking about could help us"

Diavolo: do you remember where you use to live?"

Barbatos : I know the location what it looks like might have change but that won't be a problem. We should go"

Diavolo: let's go then"

Later Barbatos arrived at a random spot in the forest and said.

Barbatos : this is where I use to live."

Lucifer : are you sure this will work?"

Barbatos : only if my past self is here so we'll find out "

MC : this is exciting"

After this Barbatos sat down on the ground and started performing the spell.

Then suddenly a green glowing line appeared around him on the ground and then his eyes shot wide open Turing entirely green and glowing.

And then he started to see what his past self was doing.

And all he was seeing was him and Mammon standing in the living room talking about things.

Barbatos was surprised at what he was hearing Mammon was still trying to help him feel better.

And then as he started to hear Mammon explain his suffering. how he could understand.

He couldn't help but feel extremely bad for Mammon.

And yet even as he spoke about his pain about everything especially his brothers when talking about them.

He seem to be smiling like even with the pain they were causing him he couldn't be mad at them at all.

He could also see Mammon looked so defeated as he spoke like he gave up on anything getting better for him.

Yet despite feeling like that. Barbatos saw how determined he was to help him. As to why he couldn't understand.

But then thought about something.

He wondered if Mammon  was thinking. Even if he can't fix his situation he can still fix Barbatos situation.

Seeing this pain Mammon was in seeing him talk about it.

Barbatos couldn't help but feel mad that Mammon felt so low about himself.

And as he saw his past self trying to help him once that was done he saw his past self starting to talk to Mammon about a memory he couldn't remember.

Apparently they met before when  Mammon was still an angel.

And as he heard about his encounter with Mammon. He couldn't help but feel strange but it wasn't anything bad and even could feel himself smiling at it.

Until he suddenly just witness his past self confess his love to Mammon which was completely unexpected and caught him off guard.

He didn't expect to think his past self would be in love with Mammon. Especially for such a long time.

He also wondered why he couldn't remember any of this but before he could process anything.

He saw his past self kiss Mammon and this shock him so much the spell broke.

And as it broke and he returned to normal and gasp covering his mouth with his hand.

Not sure how to process what he just saw. But could imagine it would be uncomfortable and awkward once Mammon returned.

MC : what happened!?"

Lucifer : what did you see?"

Barbatos wasn't sure what to tell them but then said standing up and leaving out almost everything he saw.

Barbatos: it's nothing....not much of anything useful was said.

But what I did find out was apparently a very long time ago I went to the celestial realm and got injured and couldn't return to
Devildom until I was healed.

So Mammon his me until I was able to leave.... Lucifer do remember him ever acting differently?"

Lucifer : this is Mammon we're talking about? But yes I remember a time where he seem more close off and wouldn't let anyone in his room.

I wouldn't have imagined he was hiding someone. I'm impress he was able to if this is true"

MC : you think Simeon would know something?"

Diavolo : we should ask him"

Lucifer : I'll call him"

And so Lucifer quickly called Simeon putting the phone on speaker so everyone could talk to him.

After a few seconds Simeon answered and ask.

Simeon : Lucifer? How is everything going with Mammon?"

Lucifer : still working on it. But we just found out that apparently a long time Barbatos got stuck in the celestial realm and Mammon help hide him. Know anything about this?"

Simeon : oh? So that demon was him?"

Barbatos : so it did happen?"

Simeon : well Lillth caught Mammon talking to a demon while she was Painting outside. She ended up painting them.

I saw to when I was looking for her. The demon looked very different from you but it was a long time ago. I could bring over the painting should be around here somewhere. She hid it because she thought she would get him in trouble"

Lucifer : you both kept this a secret?"

Simeon : we thought mammon would get in trouble so that's what we thought was best"

Barbatos : ....can you please bring over the painting?"

Simeon : yes I'll be there later"
