Caleb P.O.V
I remember when I was friends with Gage he told me about his uncles, how they were vampires..I didn't believe it till last night, Gage told me that he and Mason were go no into the Forrest to find the oldest of his uncles, but I didn't know Lena was going after them, the way Stefan acted, I knew he was one of Gage's uncles. So that's when I worried, while I was yelling at Gage, I punched him in the face after, Mason I also punched but not as hard, I told them to leave my sisters out of this, they left after, Clara went to bed and I sat on the couch watching tv till I blacked out.

Clara P.O.V
After Caleb yelled at Gage and Mason, I went up stairs to bed, I was now scarred. I didn't know what is going on, and poor Elena, she must've been scarred. I promise that she will not get hurt, this is me and Caleb jobs..

Elena P.O.V
I awoke how I usually do, by my alarm clock, at 6 in the morning. I did my usual routine, then getting Caleb and Clara up, getting them breakfast, then heading too school. We arrived at school, and I saw a bunch of girls/cheerleaders surrounding somebody, " Lady's lady.." That's voice, it was Damon..." Come on sis.." Caleb said wrapping his arm around my shoulder, Clara on my other side and they walked me into the school, I felt someone watching me tho...we arrived at my locker, " you sure you don't want me to stay with you" Clara asked, " Clara you have math, I have English..ill be fine.." I told her she nodded her head and walked away to her locker. I opened my locker and grabbed my stuff, I shut it and walked to English. I walked in, and sat at my seat, the bell rang, and everyone came in, I was focused on work that I didn't realize someone sat beside me, till someone whispered in my ear.." You knew you might want to be more careful.." I faced the person to see Stefan, I looked at the English teacher to see....Damon....." Hello class I am mr Salvatore, I am this years English teacher" damon said, my eyes were huge, I felt Stefan smirking and saw Damon smirking...this..can't..be..happening...

Clara P.O.V
It was awkward being with Caroline, in math, she had a smile on her face the whole time, and after Stefan was waiting for her outside and they were laughing walking down the hall, I saw my sister not looking very happy.." What happened" I asked her, " Stefan is in my English class, and Damon is my teacher..my life...is terrible..plus dad just called me.." She said starting to cry.." What happened" I asked hugging her, " they found grandpa body in a river in New Orleans " she sobbed, I started tearing I hugged her tight crying too, who would kill are grandpa, he was sweet, crazy but sweet and kind..Caleb was now hugging us too, I guess he knows..
That day Caleb me and Lena were leaving school early, Lena talked to know one for weeks, she didn't leave her room and was a wreak.

Today going to school, was hard, " hey Clara...so me and Stefan are wondering where your sister has been.." Caroline asked, " she won't leave her room, " I simply told her then left the class to go to Science.

Caroline P.O.V
After school, I went with Stefan to Elena and Clara's house, I overheard clara and Caleb talking about them leaving to go shopping for 3 hours and there parents weren't gonna be home till 1:20. We got out of the car, and ran then jumped onto the roof, we went to the backyard, we jumped onto one of the window sills. I looked inside and no one was there, I jumped down to the back door and picked locked it, Stefan came with a human, the human went inside and said, " come in, " we entered and Stefan threw the human out, the knocked him out old. We closed the door, and looked around, while I was looking I saw a door, i opened it and it led to the basement, the basement was roomy. A tv, video games, and a caller thing with wine in it. I saw a slide door and opened it a bit, it was a bedroom, a really nice bedroom, on the bed I saw a lump..with brown wavy hair. Bingo. I closed it slowly being quite, I walked up stairs and whispered" Stefan" he came Ina flash and followed me down, I opened it and me and Stefan walked in, I walked up to the bed and sat at the end, " Elena" I whispered " who did you get in my house.." Elena said not scarred, more bold. I didn't answer her question " answer you stupid vampire" she said irritated...she knew..." Stefan got a human to let us in" I said, she groaned, when she sat up she looked awful. Her hair was all tangled she smelled horrible and her eyes were puffy and red. " Caroline Stefan" Damon yelled he was here, " get him out" Elena said putting her head back under the covers, I looked at Stefan he left. " Stefan will get him to not come down here" I told her she came back out, " what's wrong" I asked, she looked at me like ' why do you care' " because...I'm Stefan beloved he's the prince of the vampire and Damon is the king and you are apparently his beloved" I told her she looked shocked, she was very pretty girl, mis understood too.." My grandpa...he was found dead in New Orleans river with vampire marks.." She told me, I was shocked, no one was in New Orleans, we aren't really suppose to unless we have too.." He was a hunter, for five mouths that I was gone from my family he taught me everyone he knew, but I know who attacked him...who are the hunters of rivers land.." She said, I was shocked, " only Stefan and Damon knowing who they are..id int they only told me to stay away from them..who was your grandfather tho" I asked, " Colt Cortez" she told me, my eyes went wide. " no wonder they would go after him.." I whispered. She looked down,  no wonder the kid would be heart broken she seems like she was closer to her grandfather then her parents...she acts tough....but deep down inside...she's broken....she handed me something, it was a gun...wait...it was the colt.." I know the formula for the bullets" she told me, I looked at her my eyes wide, she looked at me sadly, she knows..she knows why they would go after him..." Elena" I whispered hugging her, I felt so bad, she is lonely..and no one in her family knows.." Caroline..." Damon yelled he was at the door with Stefan behind him, " Caroline..." Damon said but stopped he probably just saw how Elena was, I pulled away, Elena went back under the covers..I stood up and pushed Damon and Stefan out of her room, I closed her doors, " the hunters of river land killed Colt Cortez who is her grandfather, the girl is broken..so stop being ignorant vampire royalty and start caring expeshally you Damon.." I told them, being serious and angry, Damon was shocked, but was also clenching his fist and was shacking, he pushed past em and opened her door and ran up to her, grabbed her form under the blankets but instead of hurting her, he hugged her..she sat there numb not able to move and started sobbing and her eyes getting even more puffy..I felt so bad,...

Damon P.O.V
I hugged her, I rubbed her back and felt her sobbing against my shoulder. I brought her closet to me, I wanted to hold her, ever since the night I found her int eh bush I wanted to kiss her and Hold her, and just have her close..but her grandfather..the river land hunters..she was broken I saw it in her eyes since I met her, but everything else about her...was a mystery..she was so closed.." Shhhhh...it ok....I'm here..." I soothed her and felt her breathing heavy but calming down a bit..

An hour later..

Elena has now calmed down, she told me what her grandfather told her, and she showed me the colt and that she k ew the formula for the bullets. Shocked was an understatement, I literally thought he Would tell no one..but know..he tells his grand daughter, like he knew he would die..I knew colt Cortez was smart..but not this smart..I sighed putting my head in my hands, Elena was on her bed whirl I was at her desk, Caroline was comforting Elena and Stefan was leaning against the wall, why must it have been my beloved with all this stuff....but I'm glad it's Elena..she's sweet, kind, strong but emotional..she has a good heart..but is broken..Caroline walked Elena out if her room to get her some water, Stefan came over to me, " You ok..." He asked, I nodded my head, " because she isn't.." He said, I groaned, he knew that emit I was angry.." Damon...she's a human girl like how Caroline was back in the 1920's. " Stefan told me, I nodded...I hated her being upset..Caroline cam down, " she's ok...but her brother and sister will be home soon, we better go." Caroline. Todd us, we followed her up stairs, Elena was sitting in her living room, drinking water, I came over and sat I front of her on my knees, she looked at me, " If you need anything...I'm here ok.." I told her, she nodded her head, I knew she was shaky..I stood up and kissed her head, I speed away with Stefan and Caroline we got in Stefan car and he drove away.

Elena P.O.V
Why do I like him this way...I hate everything about him...but he...stupid beloved bond..
