(Chance's P.O.V.)

    This isn't right either. In front of me, a small hedgehog but on the inside, is Solaris' fury. What did I do to incur such wrath? Apparently, threatening to kill the (C/T) girl caused it. Flames burn me and bake me. Obviously, I underestimated her. To think Solaris would have an attachment this strong to one mortal girl. I thought only one half adored her, not both! The flames burn at me once more. Retreat! I need to retreat! But why is the fireball not letting up? Is he that intent on killing me? To burn me up until I'm nothing but ashes. No, this will not be my end. "Fine! You win! I'll leave your precious (Y/N) alone. Stop attacking me!" "You tried to hurt what's mine. You pay with your life!" Clearly, my words have gone unheard. I need an exit. The hedgehog! "Stop! Help!" "Calling for help will do nothing!" "Except call the hedgehog hunting you. Sayonara." I teleport back to the present. That was too close.

(Reader's P.O.V.)

    This is bad. Not only did Chance escape but now I have to stop Iblis before he tears this place apart. And that means stopping Silver too. "Silver wait! It's a trap!" Silver seems to stop at my words. "I sense Iblis in there! What's going on?" "Iblis was fighting Chance!" "Who's Chance?" I sigh, stepping in front of Iblis before Iblis gets the idea to hurt Silver. "Chance is the one trying to destroy time. Iblis was fighting with him but he called for you when he noticed you were close." "So if I walk in there..." "Iblis might hurt you." "You say that like Iblis won't hurt you!" I hear Iblis growl behind me. "I would never hurt (Y/N)! She's mine! I like her!" To my shock, Silver enters the room to see the transformed Iblis. "That's Iblis? Why does he look like a younger version of me?" "Because I think your quills are funny and I liked them." Iblis seems to calm down a bit now that he sees who it is that Chance called out to. "So, your name is (Y/N), right?" "That's right. And before you ask, yes I'm from the future. Just a different future than yours. And I know Iblis because I met him in the future too. This would be the second time I've met him. That's how I know his name." We all sit down on the metal floor in a circle. A few hours pass and Iblis calms down enough that Silver can talk to him without him getting angry. "So why did you say (Y/N) is yours?" "Because I like her. That makes her mine. And Mephiles' too. What's mine is his." "But Mephiles hasn't even met her. How do you know he'll even like her?" "I know because I like her." Iblis lets out a yawn and leans on me. His physical form is fading back into a small flame.

(Iblis' P.O.V.)

    Sleepy? Why sleepy? Don't want to sleep. She holds me in her hands. I'm tiny again. Why am I so small? "I think it's time." The hedgehog is about to do something when a man passes carrying a child. "Sir, You need to get out of here. Let us handle this." "The flame has been in the royal family for centuries. It must be sealed with royal blood." The man lays the child on a table. She carries me over to the table too. "It's okay Iblis. It's just time for you to go to bed. Don't worry. I'll be there when you wake up. I promise." She'll be there when I wake up? Then I don't mind going to sleep. Goodnight, (Y/N). See you in the morning.

(Reader's P.O.V.)

    I gently hold Iblis in my hands as the king uses a chaos emerald to seal him in Elise. "That's a good girl. Remember, don't cry, no matter what happens." We both take Elise outside and meet up with Shadow. The scepter has dark energy sealed inside it. "How did it go?" "The flames are properly sealed. (Y/N) said Chance got away though." "(Y/N)?" Silver then points to me and I give a small wave. "I helped Silver seal Iblis. I see you sealed Mephiles." He nods as a portal suddenly appears behind him. "It's time to return." "You're leaving it here?" "I already know what becomes of it." I look at the scepter at Elise's side as Shadow walks through the portal. Silver then places a chaos emerald in the girl's hand. "It's a lucky charm." He smiles. "(Y/N), its time to go. If you stay here, you might get stuck in the past forever." "I'll follow behind in a minute. There's one last thing I need to do." He nods and exits through the portal. I wonder if when I exit I'll end up in their timeline? I sigh and pick up the scepter when I'm certain that no one else but Elise is around. I hold the scepter close to my chest. "See you in the future, love."
