1. The chapter starts in front of Samantha's house. The camera then enters the house on the second floor staircase near Samantha's bedroom door. Elizabeth comes up the stairs to wake Samantha up.

Elizabeth: "(Sweetly) Sammy, Sammy!"
Samantha:[Groans] "Nooo... give me a few more minutes plz I'm tired I talked to Aaron on FaceTime on my phone last night because I was excited to finally see him again at school ever since dad died I was homeschooled."
—Elizabeth opens the bedroom door and makes her way to the side of her bed.
Elizabeth:"Samantha, get up! Come on!"
Samantha:"(Annoyed) Mom please, just like, five more minutes, then I promise I get up."
Elizabeth: "You always say that, and it turns into 20 minutes, if not the whole day. Now get your butt out of bed!"
Samantha:" Okay, okay! I'm awake. I just need like, fi'mo' minutes to rest my eyes."
Elizabeth:"[Sighs] Fine. Sleep in. Such a shame; you're going to be late for your first day of high school. And yesterday you were so excited to because you get to see Fc/Aaron at school for the first time in a year, too. *tsk* Oh, well."
—Samantha realizes that today is her first day of high school and she would see Aaron for the first time in a year because she moved and then moved back because of her father's death.
Samantha: "Mooomm, today isn't even— [Gasps] it's the first day of school! Oh! I'm so excited to see Aaron!.. [Giggles] Backpack, check! Pencils, Check! College ruled paper, ....Mm, check! Stuffed animal?... Pfft! No! [Scoffs] I'm a high schooler freshman now! I need to be cool. Mmh... sorry, Honekoneko. Uniform, check! [Giggles] This is going to be awesome! My first day of high school! I can't wait to see Aaron again and I can't wait to go to my classes and meet new people and make new friends.
—Samantha then loses her confidence and hides in the closet.
Samantha:"[literally sobbing. Then whining] I don't wanna gooooooo."
—Elizabeth comes in the room once more to find her in the closet.
Elizabeth: "Samantha? ...Samantha? Are you crying in the closet again?
Samantha:"(Still in the closet). [Stammers] N-no!"
Elizabeth:"[Sighs] sometimes I wish you had claustrophobia because of these little hiding spots you have. (Enters the closet) Tell mama what's wrong"
Samantha:"Mom, I'm scared... I-I don't want to go to high school anymore."
Elizabeth:"(Surprise) What!? But Sweetheart, you've been so excited for this since we moved back here and plus you said that you were excited to see Aaron again."
Samantha: "I know, but Mom, I've been homeschooled for what seems like forever."
Elizabeth: "Calm down sweetie, it was just a year."
Samantha: "Still, even before then at my old middle school I didn't really talk to anyone except Aaron on line when playing video games. I haven't seen a kid my age in person for a year."
Elizabeth: "Well, I tried to get you to go out, but you wanted to stay inside playing video games with Fc aka Aaron. Mija look.... You're going to be fine. Sure, it's going to be a new experience for you and a lot of kids probably will like you, because of your loving personality and nature you are going to make a lot of friends...."
Samantha:"Mom... I really needed that thank you."
Elizabeth:"Haha! But really if they don't like you for you then don't be friends with them, find someone else to talk to and then you can just smile like you always do."
Samantha: "Thanks mom. You're right, I can do this. I just need to stay positive and smile, thank you mom you're the best."
Elizabeth:"That's my girl. Now get your butt to school. I've got to get to work. You gonna be okay walking there by yourself?"
Samantha:"(Confidently) Mhm. I can do this."
Elizabeth:"Great, see you tonight. Have a great first day. Oh, and don't talk to any boys except for Aaron I trust him, and any other boy then no they are nothing but trouble. Bye!"
—Elizabeth leaves the room.
Samantha:" Okay well that eliminates half of the people in school well except for Aaron I can actually talk to, heh. Ugh. Even though mom gave me good advice I'm still nervous, well here goes nothing."
—Samantha walks off. The camera now shows Phoenix Drop high School.
Samantha: "Hmm, this is it. I can do this. But first, let me take a selfie. Ha! Perfect."
—Samantha trips over a rock and accidentally bumps into a guy (aka Aaron)
Aaron: (caught her)
Samantha: Wha whoa (look at the guy who caught her) wait AARON
Aaron:"(looks at her and says this) Sammy is that you you're back I missed you so much (hugs her.)."
Samantha:"(hugs back) I missed you too Aaron
Aaron:"(pulls away from the hug and gently kisses her on her forehead and then gives her her phone back.)"
Samantha: thanks for catching me (smiles at Aaron.)
Aaron:you're welcome my little stupid potato
Samantha:(blush's.) Aaron! Don't call me that! (Looks away in embarrassment.)
Aaron:(in head I love this girl with all my heart and I can tell you love me as well.) well I have to go Sam I'll talk to you later bye.
Samantha:(smiles softly and waves back.) okay Aaron see you in class.
Samantha: "walks up to the door and tries to get open."  Huh why are the doors locked? Did they forget to open the doors on the first day?
—From the back, Teony talks to Samantha.
Teony: "Hehe, I'm assuming you're a freshman?"
Samantha:"(Startled) Huh?"
Teony: "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, Jumpy one, eh?"
Samantha:"Um, sorry, this door is locked."
Teony: "Don't worry about that. Don't bother. They usually lock the doors on the first day here."
Samantha:"Oh, I see."
Teony: "Then they'll let everyone flood in and bam! Chaos everywhere."
Samantha:"That sounds chaotic."
Teony:" You're really nervous. You're shaking a lot."
Samantha:" I'm sorry, you're the second person I've seen in a year and talked to."
Teony: "(Surprised and jumped back) Whoa, wow. What does that mean? Someone kept you in a dungeon or something?"
Samantha: "No. No it's not like that I have been homeschooled ever since dad died."
Teony: " Oh I'm sorry about your father, but that sounds. Awesome. Getting to stay home every day. Best school ever."
Samantha:"it's actually kind of lonely but, heh."
Teony:"Uhuh, that cute little smile is adorable, cheer up freshman, you'll get the hang of things in no time."
Samantha: "Uh, um... hey. Would you want to be my friend?"
Teacher:"Teony, Miss Peacock is looking for you."
Teony:" What! Already? The school isn't even open yet."
Teacher:"She needs you right now. Something about missing papers for home room."
Teony:" [Sighs] I bet she's not wearing her glasses. Those papers are probably right in front of her, too. [Groans] Ugh, fine, I'm on my way now. Sorry freshman. I'm a teachers aid and I need to help my teacher right now."
Samantha: "Um... Ok...."
Teony:"Just keep your head high and you'll be fine. See you around cutie."
—Teony leaves Samantha to help Ms.Peacock.
Samantha:"Uh, wait, what? Can I go with you?
You know what never mind I guess I'll just have to make new friends on my own. (Walks away and looks around)
—Samantha accidentally bumps into Garroth.
Samantha: Ah!
Garroth: "Eh—Er, Hey, are you okay?"
Samantha: "I'm so sorry. I'm fine. I just— I didn't mean to run into you— huh?"
Garroth:"You should really watch where you're stepping next time. It's really could have been a nasty spill for you.
Samantha:*Blushes out of embarrassment*
Garroth: "Hello? Are you okay?"
Samantha:"Hmm, oh yeah I'm okay just embarrassed that all heheh."
Garroth: "D-do you need to go to the nurse's office or something."
Samantha:"no it's my first day and I'm nervous."
Garroth: "Oh, PP. No wonder you're acting all weird."
Samantha: "yeah, that's the reason I was acting so weird. Heh thanks for catching me."
Garroth: "No problem. You really need to be careful. And you should watch wear your going next time."
Samantha:"I will."
Garroth:"Take care. See you around."
—Garroth leaves.
Samantha: "I should go."
Ivy:" Wow. Didn't you look pathetic? Drooling all over him."
Samantha:" Huh, me? I wasn't drooling all over him I'm in love with someone else that's never going to change."
Ivy:" Well of course you. I saw you play that innocent freshman act."
Samantha:"(Confused) What? No I didn't...."
Ivy:"look... I don't have time to deal with you. Just know that Garroth Ro'meave is off limits. Okay? So, don't get any ideas. Later freshman."
Samantha:"(kind of agitated) I have a name you know. Ugh, and didn't I just say I was in love with someone else, (hears the bell ring) I guess it's time to go inside.
—the camera now shows the inside of the school.
Samantha:"(Sighs) This looks, uh confusing. (Slightly panicked) Where am I supposed to go? What do I do first?"
—Samantha sees a teacher and walks up to him.
Samantha:"Um, Excuse me sir?"
Teacher:"Ah, welcome you must be new here."
Samantha:"Of course I am. Um, pretty much everyone in this room is a freshman, right?"
Teacher:"(Laughs) Oh that's right I forgot! Sorry, I've been teaching here for so long, Plus, I just taught summer school, so today doesn't feel any different, since I only got a week off."
Samantha:"(Giggles nervously) Oh, I see...heh heh."
Teacher: "What middle school are you from?"
Samantha:" I was, actually home schooled for middle school. The reason why it was because my father passed away a year ago and then we moved and then we moved back."
Teacher: " Oh, I see. So, do you have any childhood friends here that you could mingle with?"
Samantha: "Yeah I do His name is Aaron Lycan but he is also known as Fc because we played video games with each other, and me and Aaron are actually pretty close (blushes.) But Aaron is actually the only friend I have at this point."
Teacher:"so you don't have any other friends."
Samantha:" Uh, that's kind of a rude question to ask, but I do have friends. Well online ones.
Teacher: "...Oh you poor socially awkward child!"
Samantha:"Uh, um, You're making this more socially awkward by pointing that out. Oh my god I think I am going to die of embarrassment.
Teacher: "Not to worry! I will tell you how are school systems works!"
Samantha:"Oh my god you're yelling so loudly please stop."
Teacher: "Hem, now, as you can see, all the freshman are currently here in the orientation room. This is where you pick up your folder that contains your schedule. Did your parents pre-register you?"
Samantha:"yeah my mom pre-registered me."
Teacher:"Good! Well then, go pick up your packet. Once you have it it will tell you where you're home room is. Then you head there and it will guide you through orientation day.
Samantha:"Uh, orientation day?"
Teacher:"Orientation day is the first day of school for freshmen. Today, you get to meet your homeroom classmates. Then you can meet the club's and a few upper class-men."
Samantha:"Heh, well, thanks, but I'd rather not meet the upperclassmen. I just want to stay in my comfort zone with all the other freshmen and Aaron. Heh."
Teacher:"Bahaha. Well, bad news. That's how our school systems works. Freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors are usually intermingled in all classes except for homeroom."
Samantha:"Uh, Y-y-you're kidding me."
Teacher: "Nope, now go on, go get your packet. This place is about to clear out and you definitely want to get a good seat in your homeroom."
Samantha:"I-I didn't even think about that, thank you sir!"
Teacher:"No problem, good luck!"
Samantha:*Ok, but these lines are long. Do I go to help? I.D.? Sign in? Ugh, I'm going to be late for homeroom if this doesn't hurry up. Oh, the line is long. Oh no.*
—Samantha walks down the hallway a bit.
Samantha:*No no no, this can't be happening! The school is so huge and I don't understand the hall system! The bell just rang almost 10 minutes ago and I'm so late! Oh, this day is just going absolutely horrible so far!
Stranger (Laurence):"You okay?"
Samantha:" Yeah, I'm okay, I just don't know where I'm going that's all."
Laurence: Freshman, right?
Samantha:"Yeah."
Laurence: "Didn't you get a school packet in the mail during the summer? They were sent out to all the local middle school kids coming to high school."
Samantha:"I was homeschooled."
Laurence:"Oh. Well then, here, let me see your schedule."
Samantha:"Huh, sure. Here, I— Uh!
Laurence:"Something... wrong?"
Samantha:"um, I'm sorry, here."
Laurence:"Heh, you're not falling for my looks."
Samantha:"No offense but I'm in love with someone else."
Laurence:" Oh who's the lucky guy."
Samantha:"Um my child hood best friend Aaron lycan I am in love with him."
Laurence:"Huh, your classes are nearby. Here, I'll walk you there."
—They walk to Samantha's class.
Laurence:"Here you are."
Samantha:"Thank you so much. I'm so sorry, I probably made you late for your class."
Laurence:"Ha, Nah, no worries. I'm actually setting up at the club social for all the freshmen, so I'll probably see you there?"
Samantha:"Mmm..."
Laurence:" I guess I will, then. Oh hey, by the way, that uniform looks good on you."
Samantha:"Oh um thanks. I gotta get to class."
—Laurence walks away and Samantha goes Into class.
Teacher:"Ugh, Stop, wait, let me guess."
Samantha:"I'm so sorry, I don't know this place very well and I—"
Teacher:"The cliche I'm because I'm new" excuse right? You're lucky today's the first day and that you're a freshman. The school sent out the orientation package during the summer and—"
Samantha:"I was homeschooled!"
Teacher:"Oh, I see. Well then, I won't give you flak for that. What's your name?
Samantha:"My name is Samantha—"
Teacher:"Oh, I see your name. Very unique. Now, take your seat. We're just about done calling roll. Now, let's see. Nicole von Ronsenburg?"
Nicole:"Present."
Teacher:"Kawii~Chan?"
Kawii~Chan:"Present!"
Teacher:"Travis Valkrum?"
Travis:"P-present!"
Teacher:"And last, Zane Ro'meave?"
Zane:"Ugh. Here."
Teacher:"Ro'meave? Are you related to—"
Zane: "Yes, (Sigh) I am."
Teacher:"You've got a big name to live up to. I expect great things from you.
Zane: Ugh.
Teacher: Alright, class. You can all mingle, and then we'll head on over to the club social."
Samantha:*Mingle? (Sigh) You know what, I'm not going to think too much into this whole 'Being new' thing anymore. If I get called freshman one more time, I swear I'm—I, I'm going to make casual conversation with whoever I turn to next to me and I'm going to enjoy it. Hmph.* "Hi, my name is Samantha. I'm new like you and, um, it's nice to meet you. Heh. W-what's your name?"
Stranger sitting next to her (Travis):"Um, It's Travis."
Samantha:"Hey, that's a really nice name."
Travis:"R-really? Um, your name is nice, too!
Samantha:"Are you okay?"
Travis:"Y-yeah, I'm just shocked a pretty girl would be the first person to talk to me."
Samantha:"Oh, uh, thanks, Heheh, that was really forward of you.
Travis:"S-sorry, I have a bad habit of saying what's on my mind when I'm nervous. I wish I had your confidence."
Samantha:"actually that was the first confident thing I've ever said to anyone all day."
Travis:"Really? You've actually talked to people today?"
Samantha:"Yeah, quite a few actually."
Travis:"That's amazing."
Samantha:"R-really?"
Travis:"Y-yeah."
Samantha:"Heh, At least you're not shy. I'd just upright die if I complimented a boy like that. (Sigh) heh."
Travis:"Are you kidding me? I'm about to explode here."
Samantha:"I'm just glad nobody is calling me "Freshman" right now."
Travis:"Ugh. That's so annoying. It's like a little label they put on us."
Samantha:"Right! Like I know where new and kind of timid, but come on."
Travis:"Um w-want to be friends?
Samantha:"S-sure?"
Travis:"Okay then."
(Outro song starts)
Samantha:"Ok!"
Travis:"Okay!"
Samantha:"what do we do now."
Travis:"Heh, I don't know. I just don't want to alone for the first day here."
Samantha:"So we're essentially not alone buddy not alone buddies?"
Travis:"Not alone buddies!"
Samantha:"Hehe! Awesome!"
Travis:"So tell me about yourself."
Teacher:"All right, class, we're heading to meet all the clubs and upperclassmen! Line up and let's get going."
Samantha:"Are we going to stick together?"
Travis:"Y-yeah. Sure!"
Samantha:"Let's go, then!"
