Chapter 3~
(There might be Naegiri + spoilers in this chapter, idk)
You decide to go back to the library later that day, hoping that Byakuya wasn't still there. Luckily enough, he wasn't, and you were able to continue the hunt for a good book. But you noticed an open book on the table, with a slip of paper on top. You pick up the piece of paper, and realise that it's a phone number, with a note underneath. The note read:
'Call me when we leave this disgusting place'
You place the paper in your pocket, and pick up the book. Surprisingly, it was one of your books. You placed it back in the correct section, and left. Now you couldn't wait until you could phone the number.
~Massive time skip to after the six (or in this case seven :3) survivors leave the academy (there is no apocalypse in this story)~
Just a week after you and the other six people separated, Naegi and Kirigiri asked to meet up at the local coffee shop. Aoi, Hagakure, and Toko were busy, so it was just you, Naegi, Kirigiri, and Byakuya (surprisingly). You had become very good friends with them all, and couldn't wait to meet them again, even though it had only been a week.
You put on your smartest outfit, and headed out the door. Luckily enough, the coffee shop was only 0.3 miles away from the apartment.
After 6 minutes, you arrived, and you could see Naegi and Kirigiri in the window seats, chatting. Your heart fluttered as you entered the shop and greeted the two.
"Oh, hey Y/n! Great to see you!" Naegi exclaimed when he saw you.
"Hey, Makoto. Hey, Kyoko. You guys doing good?" You ask, sitting opposite Naegi.
"We're doing well. Better now that we're not at Hope's peak anymore," Kirigiri spoke in her usual, calm tone.
"Indeed," You say, smiling.
Soon, Byakuya arrives, and Kirigiri goes to the counter to order (lucky you, she's paying). But you notice that something is wrong with Byakuya. He seems slightly 'kinder' towards you, and he keeps on glancing at you. You disregard it, and continue to enjoy your meeting with your friends. Until, you get a phone call from your mother.
"Hi mom, how are you?... good!... yeah... mhm... wait, really? You're actually coming here!?... No way!... I've got to go now, we'll speak later... bye!"
"Who was that?" Naegi asks, sipping his boiling hot cup of hot chocolate.
"It was my mother. Apparently, she's going to be moving to Tokyo to start a business!"
"That's great!" Kirigiri smiled, pouring a very small amount of milk in her coffee, "So when's it all happening?"
"Next week, at the latest!"
You were ecstatic. Your mother was finally able to move from her town, and had finally built up the courage to move to the city.
Soon, your meeting ended, and you headed back to your apartment. But on the way back, you remember something. When you reach into your pockets, you find the piece of paper from that book in Hope's peak's library. The piece of paper with the phone number. You grab your phone, dial the number, and text it. You don't even know if the owner of the number would reply, but you were desperate to find out.
