Today was the day. You were finally attending the first day at Hope's peak. You decided to wear a white shirt, brown skirt, jodhpur boots, glasses, and a special necklace that your sister gave you (sorry if your character doesn't have a sister). You tied your hair in a messy bun, grabbed your leather satchel bag, and headed out the apartment entrance. The air was crisp that morning, but that didn't keep your spirits down. Soon enough, you arrived at Hope's peak with an hour to spare. You decided to head inside, as it's better to be early than late. But something seemed off...

As you walked past the gate, your vision instantly deteriorated, and everything went dark. You later woke up in some sort of classroom, which, instead of windows, were massive metal plates. You glanced up at the clock, and realised you were going to be late if you waited any longer. You bolted out the classroom, and sprinted down the hallway to the gym hall. When you arrived at the hall's doors, you noticed a boy sprinting in your direction. He had brown hair, and quite a strange outfit with multiple zips.

"Hey! You running late too?" He exclaimed, stopping in front of you.

"I guess. Come on, let's see what's going on behind these doors," You spoke, pushing on the doors.

The doors opened to thirteen other people, two of which were Asahina and Ogami. Both you and the boy head into the crowd of students, looking at all of the different faces. But then you stopped at one person. It was the boy from the library. You never thought you'd see him again, but here you are. You couldn't begin to imagine what his ultimate might be. Suddenly, someone appeared in front of you, a stern look on their face.

"Hey, why were you late? You know being late is against school rules," The person exclaimed, arms crossed.

"Well, I wasn't my fault I was late. Surely you experienced waking up in a weird classroom after passing out in front of the school," You reply with a hint of anger in your voice.

"Well, I guess it doesn't matter now. I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru, the Ultimate Moral Compass,"

"Well, hi, I'm Y/n L/n, Ultimate Mystery Writer,"

"Good to meet you. Feel free to introduce yourself to anyone else," Ishimaru exclaimed, walking off. 

You decided that you were going to introduce yourself to the others at a later rate. But when you thought there were no more surprises, a monochrome bear appeared on the stage. A few people were startled by the sudden appearance, but some weren't at all bothered.

"I know what you're all thinking, and no I'm not a high tech build-a-bear reject. I am the principal of this illustrious institution, Monokuma!"

(Que speech about murder, killing each other to graduate, despair, etc.)

As Monokuma disappeared, you looked around at everyone else. Their faces either showed pure fear, or concern. You tried to stay calm, but a few tears escaped your e/c eyes.

You and the rest of the students were asked to go to some sort of film room. Apparently, Monokuma had a 'surprise' for all of you. When you all arrived, you sat at separate computers, and were given film tapes with your name on it. The tapes got inserted in the computer, and showed a short film. It started with your mother, older brother, and younger sister (sorry, no dad) saying how proud they were of you, but then it took a dark turn. In place of the calm, wholesome atmosphere, was a dark atmosphere, and your family were nowhere in sight. It almost seemed like your family was... you know... gone. You took a step back, even more tears coming from your eyes. You couldn't believe that you might have to stay in this horrible place for the rest of your life.
