i stood on the sidewalk tears continuously dropping from my eyes and my heart throbbing for jess to wake up... as i stood impatiently for Marsha's mom to arrive... she said shell be here in 10 mins but it seemed like it took an eternity to get here... just as i tapped my feet impatiently starring down at jess who didn't seem to make any progress...

"Carmen " said a voice that didn't take me long to recognize it was monnie... as i looked up to see him the sun glared at me making it impossible to stare straight ahead... but i saw his tall figure which ran towards me followed by a figure of a girl who tried to keep up with long legs!!!

"are you okaii Carmen ???" he asked looking at my face which was taken over by tears, frustration, fear ,sadness... i didn't reply instead i looked down jess tears once again dripping down my eyes... he slowly took jess from my hands and gave me a side hug saying everything is going to be okaii....

the girl who followed monnie now appearing more clearly.... " hey! everything okaii" she said grasping for breathe

monnie looked down at jess and stared back at the girl, "omg is he okaii?!?!?!" she exclaimed... "i don't think so..." i blurted out tears accompanying my phrase... " may i help??" she caringly... i nodded my head wiping away the tears which clogged my eyes...

follow me she said running across the lane monnie ran behind her with jess in his hands as much as i didn't want to leave the place i just couldn't let them take jess...

she stopped at the house ryt across from mine... ringing the doorbell continuosly.. seconds later the door opened wide a tall lady standing at the door... "all okai nell?" she asked looking worried...

"not really mom!!! can you help??" she said rushing jess inside the women at the door began checking jess like a professional when the girl returned to the hall with a bag in her hands which she handed over to her mom.... the bag was filled with everything a professional doc would have....

i stood at the corner of the room... trying to build hope that everything will be okaii... monnie slowly walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder "everything will be okaii carmen, Nell's mom is a doctor that too a pediatrician so jess is in safe hands, okay?" he said assuring me that everything will be okai... i just gave him a weak smile...

NEL walked over to me," he's okaii don't worry k" she said giving me a caring smile as she hugged me.....

as Nell's mother finished checking jess she turned to me.." he's okai, nothing to worry!!! why don't you go get him a fresh pair of clothes since this drenched" she said i nodded my head and turned away running to my house...

i left the door open as i ran upstairs to grab clothes for jess... i began digging throug his cupbord for somthing to wear... i tried calling my mom again haulting the search for the clothes but her phone was still busy i got so fustrated that i threw my phone which landed on the bed, begining to cry again.....
