Self doubt clogs my mind
While fear binds my heart
Will I succeed or will my efforts
Once again fall apart?

I am tired of this bullshit,
Tired of the judgemental stares.
I wish to live my life atleast once
Is that too big a wish to be fair?

Everyone seems to know me better,
Know what's the best for me
Proving their own superiority,
In the process they end up hurting me.

Tears stream past my eyes
But this time I don't try to stop.
Hiding my pain and hurt day by day,
I want these unwanted twists to stop.

Stepping out of my comfort zone,
I try to leave my own mark.
But I don't know when I'll succeed
For now, even I am falling apart.
