Howl
Quick A/N: Listening to a lot of Florence + The Machines lately...

<IMP Headquarters>
"Hey losers!" Loona called out to her colleagues.
Moxxie gave a stiff "hey"
Millie gave her usual super enthusiastic, "Hi!!"
Blitzø wasn't in sight. But common sense told Loona he was probably in his office. So, to go check on him, she walked to the door across the room and knocked.
"What?!"
"Yo. I'm here."
There was silence for a second. Then the door was kicked open and Blitzø hugged Loona with all his might.
"AAAHH GET OFF ME!" Loona shoved him off of her.
"Got that fuckin hug haha!"
"Ugh. Whatever."
Loona then went to her desk and propped her feet up on it, chilling in her chair. Pulling out her phone, she scrolled randomly through the thing, then realized she got a text from someone. She smiled, Husk.
H: "You thought about the job yet?"
L: "Uh. Idk. I'll think about it today. I'll come back and tell ya what I want."
H: "K. See ya later"
L: "yup"
H: "you nursin a crazy headache?"
L: "yes. You?"
H: "baby it's every night."
Loona smiled as she texted back and forth with Husk, catching the attention of Millie.
"Oooh! Loona is finally smiling!"
"Excuse me?" Moxxie looked amused and stood up from the couch.
"What? I can't find something funny?" Loona thought she had a pretty good chance to get out of the conversation.
"No it wasn't the 'hey I'm laughing' smile, that was 'oooh they're so cute' type!" Millie rebutted.
"I- what?! What are you trying to imply, you don't even know who Husk is!" Loona's voice croaked as she realized she said his name, making her blush profusely.
"Ooh! Who is this Husk?~" Millie pressed on.
"Nobody!" Loona started growling, "It's not your fucking business!"
"Okay, okay geez."
Unbeknownst to the crew, Blitzø was currently in the room as well, and he was furious.
"Yeah Loonie, who's Husk?"
The tension in the room was palpable. Blitzo's eye was twitching as he walked towards Loona.
"I leave you for one day and you start fucking people??"
"We didn't fuck! Are you crazy?!" Loona retaliated, was everyone gonna ask if they fucked last night?
"Maybe."
"Ok maybe you are! You just think anyone I talk to is going to fuck me?"
"Well- you can never be too careful!" Blitzø was again overly loud and overstimulated.
They went silent, and then Loona spoke softly, where Blitzo could barely hear her.
"I got offered another job."
<Hazbin Hotel, 45 minutes later>
Charlie was overly bored, drumming her fingers on the desk lazily as her head rested on her hands. Vaggie was out grabbing supplies so she had nobody to talk to. Then, an idea popped into her head. The bartender didn't hate her, maybe he'd be open to chat a little.
"Husk!"
Husk mumbled as the Princess strode over to him. He really just wanted to wait for the day to end, and maybe wait for that certain someone to come back...
"What Charlie?"
"How are you today?!" Charlie beamed with enthusiasm that she had a friend to talk to.
"Uh, I'm okay. Just waiting for L- uh... for- for this stupid ass day to be done with, I can't with this headache.. yeah."
Husk stumbled over his words a bit, feeling his face warm up, and Charlie noticed.
"Aww! Love is in the air!!!"
"Charlie what?! No!" Husk blushed and frantically tried to get her to stop teasing him.
"Yes!! heheh!" Charlie skipped away and giggled as she did.
"Ugh." Husk groaned and continued to clean the bar's glasses from last night.
"Ah, there you are my dear Husker!"
The Radio Demon.
Husk growled a little and turned around to face the demon.
"What do you want you red fuck?" Husk's eyes narrowed at Alastor.
"Oh I was just strolling along the nice streets of hell and I happened to-"
"Get to the fuckin point."
"Alright then!" Alastor smiled creepily like he always did, "I was wondering if you could get me some form of a communication to boost my tower. It is vintage, and it seems the only working one right now is that one!"
Husk looked over to his radio he had, softly playing the tunes of Ella Fitzgerald, a favorite of the cat demon (and the author). He sighed.
"I know someone who can help you." His already low voice got lower.
Welp, Husk had good news for Loona, and bad news. Good news is, he found her a job. Bad news, it's with Alastor.
<1 hour later>
The bar was still occupied by the bartender, now chugging his cheap booze, slowly getting drunk already. He really liked humming, it was slightly soothing to him. It was the one thing he liked about the radio demon, the thoughts of his old life. He never told anyone about it.
His head reeled up in shock as the front door opened, he didn't want to get his hopes up, because he had the same reaction when Vaggie came in earlier, so he went back to sitting down.
Until he heard Charlie conversing with whoever walked in.
"Hey Miss. Loona!"
"Hi Charlie. Is Husk in?"
"Ooh he issss!!" Charlie started smirking and giggled as she finished her sentence.
This made both Husk and Loona blush into whatever Charlie was implying. Neither of them liked it.
Husk didn't say anything, just had his mind doing backflips trying to figure out what to do and say. He didn't know that Loona was in the same boat. They both were awkwardly silent as the hellhound sat down at the bar.
"Same thing?"
Loona nodded slightly, blushing pink as she avoided eye contact with him.
Husk sighed and handed Loona her drink, "you said you had an answer?"
The hellhound didn't answer.
"Alright then."
Husk gave her a concerned look as he sat next to her on the stool. She blushed with the proximity of the pair, but sipped her drink.
Then she spoke, "I'll do it. I gotta tell ya about something though."
"Yeah?"
"I have this adopted dad. He's like.. really controlling." Loona's voice was uncharacteristically soft and somber.
Husk listened with intent, leaning on Loona slightly with a hand on her back reassuringly. She blushed but felt more confident and comfortable with Husk there.
"I just.. needed to get away from him. So that's why I came here. He follows me everywhere, scared I'll get hurt or something. I guess I'm touched he cares but.. it's too much sometimes."
Loona's eyes went down and she chugged her bottle, finishing it, and moved to face Husk.
"And I told him I'd be there for him. I don't know if I can juggle both jobs."
"Why are you staying here then? This bar can't be the only thing that's keeping you here." Husk replied, he wanted to hint at something else, but decided it was the wrong time to do so.
"You."
Husk's face immediately heated up. He expected her to say anything except that.
"M-me?" Husk squeaked out.
"You just get me. You understand me, we just. I dunno but. Goddamn I just... really enjoy being with you and I cannot understand why."
"I- I do too."
"You do?" Loona had tears in her eyes as she blushed, it was an odd feeling for her.
"Yep."
Husk and Loona were leaning towards each other, both blushing like crazy.
"Husk!" The old crackling of the radio demon's voice boomed through the bar, causing the pair to shoot back.
A/N: cliffhangers suck, I know. But I think I need a bit to think of what I should do here. Hope y'all enjoyed this regardless!
