-Judy POV-

Nicks phone vibrates... a text message

"Ugh, who is texting you now?"

Nick hesitates.

"Well??"

"it's... JACKSON" he yells with joy

"Jackson? Who's Jackson?"

"He was my best friend all through school! We both used to prank the other kids! He was a bit of a trouble maker, but he's a nice guy" nick exclaimed in an excited tone

"Thats... really cool!" I said in a sincere tone

We both hesitated for a second, I looked at him while he responded to Jackson.

"He's going to be here tomorrow, want to come meet him?"

"Sure!" I responded, I was excited to meet nicks best friend

"I better go back home and get ready for bed then tomorrow."

"But fluff, your leg?"

"It's ok, it's only sore, I can handle it!"
Ok you dumb bunny!" He said with his sly smirk of his. I chuckled "Jackson is going to come to my place, ok?"

"Ok you sly fox" I wink in sarcasm

We both chuckle and we hug before he opens the door for me and lets me out to head home.

~the next day~

-Nick POV-

Today is the day I meet Jackson! I can't wait, I haven't seen him in so long!

I get ready and put on my usual green Hawaiian shirt and khakis, grabbing my phone to text him.

Me: hey, when are you going to be here?

Jackson: the train arrives in about an hour

Me: ok, see you at the station, I don't want you getting lost😂

Jackson: oh I know, zoootpia is such a big city, I haven't been there since high school

I walk over to Judys apartment, eager to see Jackson. I walk up to Judys apartment complex and walk up to the stairs, walking a few doors down and knocking on her door.

She instantly opens the door, eager to see me, a wide smile on her face.

"Hi Nick!"

"Hey fluff" I say with a sly smile, we step closer and hug each other. Her muzzle digging into my stomach.

"So are you ready to see Jackson? He's going to be here in..." I check the time on my phone. "About 45 minutes!"

"Ok!" She says happily "wanna walk around at the park until then?"

"Sure, lets go!" I gesture my hand in a waving motion, she walks with me on my side. I pet in between her ears.

After a few minutes we arrive at the park, walking side by side. We walk around the park, making conversation. After about 20 minutes I get a text from Jackson. "I'm going to arrive in a few minutes"

Judy and I walk out of the park, going to the train station. Judy is still limping from when she cut her leg.

"You ok?" I ask

"Yeah.. I'm fine"

We keep walking until we reach the train station, looking for the next train. There is a lot of mammals here, it's super crowded

"It's so crowded here!"

"Yeah I know right!" She replies.

"Where do you think he could be?" She questions

"I don't know, he said that he would be here"

We wait for a few minutes, walking around.

"Where are you?" Jackson texts me

"I'm at the escalators by the front entrance"

After about 30 seconds I see a red fox, a blonder fox than I am. Stalkier than me but he's a tiny bit shorter. He's wearing a blue shirt sleeve t-shirt and some jeans.

"JACKSON!" I wave to him while Judy joins doing it as well

He looks around for a second and then we see him find us. He waves back

"Hey guys." He says "who's this?"

"This is Judy, she's my girlfriend and my partner at the ZPD" I exclaim with a smile

I look down at Judy, she's blushing

"A bunny?" He has a little bit of confusion on his face for a second. "That's cool" he looses his confused expression and looks at me.

We walk back to my place, chit chatting as we walk. What has been going on with our lives recently, what has changed.

"So here we are!" I exclaim as we step into the apartment building, moving to my apartment.

"This is nice" he says to me

"Thanks" I reply

I unlock the door and we go inside.

"Um." Jackson mumbles

"What?" I ask

"...do you have any food? I haven't eaten since yesterday"

"Crap! I forgot to get some but Yeah sure just help yourself in the kitchen in the refrigerator"

"Thanks bud! I appreciate it"

"I'm going to go to the store to get some food for us, hey Judy can you stay here? You and Jackson can get to know each other better."

She hesitates for a second... "...um, sure I guess!"

" ok cool! I'll be back" I give Judy a quick hug before I leave

"Don't have too much fun without me!" He says sarcastically as he walks out the door. We all laugh

-Judy POV-

We start chit chatting, about our lives, getting to know each other, interests and such.

"You know,"

"What?" I question

A few more moments passed. "Have you ever thought what it would be like to be with a real fox?" I opened my eyes and look over at him.

"Um... what? I'm confused"

"You know, Nick? He's turned too soft." He blurted in a devious tone

He was slowly walking towards me, he had a smirk on his face, It was similar to Nick's smirk, but it was more aggressive.

I got a little bit nervous. "I'm fine" I babbled, slowly backing up.

Suddenly, As I wasn't realizing, he quickly ran towards me, he slammed me against the wall, putting himself on top of me.

"GET OFF OF ME, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YO-"

My voice stopped, he put his paw over my mouth. I was breathing heavily

"Aww, are you scared?" He said in a devious tone, smirking.

I was gasping, panting. Yes, I was scared.

He slowly lifted up my shirt, I try to kick him off of me, I kick him but he's too strong. He holds my legs against the wall with his own legs so I couldn't kick him.

I tried to scream, but I couldn't. He still had his paw over my muzzle. He laughs...

"No one will hear you.. let's see what this little bunny has to offer!" he sneered

He puts his paw in my shirt, slowly advancing upward. He grabs parts of my body, while his hand still in my shirt, growling softly. I struggle to get out of his grip, and I slip a little. I use all of my might to get him off of me, kicking him in the stomach with all of the force my body could handle.

He gets pushed backward, grunting in pain. He kneels on the floor and grabs his stomach with his paw. I panic and grab my tranquilizer gun from nicks uniform laying on the floor.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I hold it out, my arms shaking

He doesn't reply except look slightly up at me

"I SAID GET AWAY" I yell. He gets up, scared.

"Judy, don't!"

"NO" I shout again

He gets scared, realizing what he did was wrong. He slowly walks to the door, looking at me the whole time. He runs out the door.

I burst out crying, laying on the floor against the wall. Tears running down my face, making the fur on my face wet. I try to grab my phone to call Nick, but my energy is wasted, I can barely reach. I sit against the wall and cry.

A few minutes went by, which felt like hours. I heard the door start to open, my ears perk up but I just sit there, sobbing.

"Hey guys! I'm sorry I too-" he had a bag of groceries in his hand. he stopped talking for a second and his eyes went wide

"Judy! What happened!? Where's Jackson?" He was concerned, trying to figure out the scene that just unfolded in front of him, he carelessly dropped his bag of groceries onto the ground.

I just sit there, moaning softly, tears running down my eyes, sniffling.

"What's the matter fluff?" He asked in a caring tone, he kneeled down infront of me. He sat down beside me and petted me in between my ears.

-Nick POV-

I was extremely concerned for Judy, why was she crying? And what happened to Jackson?
I kept petting her in between her ears to comfort her. I sat there for a minute

"What happened?" I asked

"I.... h-he... tri-ed.. to" was all that she managed to get out of her mouth.

"He.... tried to... he... touched m-me" she started crying even more, tears flowing freely down her face, wetting the fur on her cheeks.

I kept petting her in between her ears until her sobs slowly became quieter, until she fell asleep.
