-Nick POV-

Why would chief Bogo text me, it's usually only emergencies. I wonder what's wrong... I read the message. "Wilde, I need you  at the office" I replied to him instantly "what's wrong chief?" He responded "just come, now." I got a little worried. I headed over to the ZPD, once again, running as fast as I could, but with Judy by my side. I walked in the front doors and there were a few other officers too. Bogo was there, he told all of us that is was an emergency. Judy came in a second after me as well as some other officers a minute later.

"Listen up, there has been another robbery but this time at the zootopia trade center, it was most likely the ZEO again. They have come as a group, we need all of the backup we can get."

Everyone sat in silence, officer Delgato then questioned. "So what are we going to do chief?"

Chief Bogo then replied, "were going to try and stop them."

Everyone started running out of the front doors, jumping into our police vehicles as quickly as possible. I started to panic, what if they find me... Judy and I buckled up and turned on our siren. We drove with all of the other cop cars to the Zootopia Trade Center. We finally arrived to see that the front door was broken open and the alarm sounding. We all ran in as quickly as possible, but... nothing. They have already left!

Everyone stood still in confusion except chief Bogo, "we have to look around for more evidence." We all split up since it was such a big place

Judy and I are walking around, trying to see if anything seems suspicious... I'm starting to get tired, so I just keep lazily walking around, looking at the ground...

"AAAAHHHHH"

My ears perk up and i turn around, snapping out of my tired state. A scream? I get a little bit anxious.

-Judy POV-

I was walking around with nick when all of the sudden

"AAAAAHHH" as I slam on the floor knocking down the sword I just tripped on, my leg in instant pain

I whimper as I lay on the floor, my right leg in excruciating pain, as my walkie talkie is just out of reach.

"CARROTS!" Nick yells as he comes over, running frantically over to me. He kneels down on his knee...

"Are you alright?" He says, concerned about me.

"Aah... y--yeees... I--I'm..fi-" as I was grabbing my leg where it hurt

"No. you're not fine." He excaimed, he put out his arms to grab me, and hesitated for a second.

"You're bleeding... uh, a.. lot" he calls the other recruits, "we have a 10-33, officer hopps down, we need to take her to the hospital"

I grab my throbbing leg and feel the blood gushing out, it hurts so bad.

Nick frantically takes off his shirt and ties it around my wound, trying to stop the bleeding. He picks me up and starts running, I don't know where he's going. "Stay with me fluff" he says. I am getting extremely drowsy, I start to lose what is going around me, closing my eyes. "You need to stay with me" nick is saying in a nervous but quiet voice. It slowly fades away, "you need t- st-- w...." I instantly black out.

I wake up, confused. I look around and see nick, on his phone with one paw resting on his face.

I can tell that I'm in a hospital, my leg is still sore.

"Nick" I mumble, my voice is hoarse

He looks up at me, his ears perk up and his tail starts softly wagging.

"W-what happened??" I say

"You cut your leg remember? ... the wound was pretty deep, you lost a lot of blood"

I pull the blanket off of my right leg, there was a few stitches.

"Oh... how long was I out?"

"A few hours, it's only morning."

"Why are you still here?" I asked

"Chief Bogo said I could have the day off because of what happened with you last night. Need anything?"

I yawn, I'm still a little bit drowsy

Nick chuckles. "I think YOU need some coffee!"  He gets up out of his chair, walking slowly to the door.

"Yeah, coffee sounds nice."

He walks out of the door right when the doctor comes in, he is a panda bear, they greet each other.

"So, Ms. Hopps, are you feeling alright?" He asks

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little drowsy and my leg is sore."

"You lost a lot of blood last night, we needed to borrow some from another patient."

"Hm" I said

The panda bear writes on his clip board. "..ok, you'll be staying here for today and you'll be leaving tonight."

"Ok, thank you."

I sit in silence for a few minutes until I hear a knock on the door

"I'm baaaaaccccckkkk" Nick says in a singing tone.

"Hi Nick" I blush a little

He hands me a coffee and we chat for awhile, not noticing how much time has went by.

I look at the clock. "5:41"

The panda walks back in, "Hi Ms. Hopps, hope you're feeling better, it's time for you to go now."

"Thanks" I hop out of bed, my right leg almost giving out. "OOPH"

"Ugh, let me help you" nick says with his signature smirk on his face

"Thanks" he grabs my hand and we walk out of the hospital, a little slower than usual because my leg was still sore.

"I'm starving, I haven't eaten anything since breakfast" nick says

"Yeah me too."

Nick drives us to a sandwich shop. He parks and we get out of the car.

"Do you want me to help you fluff?"

"No, I can handle it myself" as I walk towards the restaurant, slightly limping.

"Well ok then, a little help can't hurt!" He says sarcastically, I roll my eyes and we both chuckle

We got to the front of the line. "Hi, uuummmmmm... I'll have a cricket sub and a medium drink"

I then ordered.. "and I'll have... a garden sandwich with also a medium drink"

We paid and sat down to eat, us both munching on our food, not talking until we were done with our meal.

"MmmMmMmm, that tasted so good" he says

"Yeah, it did" I replied.

We get in the car and head off to nicks apartment, having a conversation on the way there. We come inside and as we are sitting on the couch, Nicks phone vibrates... a text message.
