Judy POV

I hear the annoying sound of the alarm of my almost dead phone go off (which is set to 5:00). I press the off button, irritated, and hesitantly get out of bed.

"Why is my phone almost dead?" I crouch down and check my charger. It's plugged into the wall... I take it out and put it in the other socket in the other side of the room, doesn't charge either.. "great." I say in irritation. I quickly jump into my uniform, grab my phone, charger, keys to my apartment, my badge and head out the door. I am looking down at the ground when I walk, until I step in something.

"disgusting!" I whisper to myself as I take the chewed gum off the bottom of my foot.

"Ugh." I whine as I walk to the cafe to get my morning coffee... "another day"

It then hit me, Nick wasn't going to be there today...

I sigh, waiting for the coffee I ordered, a blueberry Mocha with carrot flavored whip cream. "Order for Judy" one of the impala [it's like an antelope] workers said and placed my order on the pick up part of the counter

"Thank you" I said

"Have a good day!" The worker enthusiasts

"You too." I reply

I walk to the police station for about 30 minutes, and get there at 7.

Benjamin Clawhouser walks in about 5 minutes after me. He looks at me in confusion.

"Why are you here so early Judy?" The cheetah asked.

"The power isn't working in my apartment" I replied

"Oh" we got awkward for a second.

"I have a charger at my office if you want to use it"

"Thanks." I walk over with the chubby cheetah to his office at the main lobby at the ZPD [zootopia police department] and plug my phone in. It made a beep sound so you know that it's charging.

I put my elbows on the desk, put my head down, grasp my paws to my forehead and sigh.

"What's wrong Judy?" Ben concerned

I rub my face for a second and take a deep breath before I speak to him. " it's just... Nick."

He looked at me in concern

"Judy, were all worried about him." He puts his paw on my back to try and comfort me.

"It's ok, Judy. I'm sure it'll be ok"

-Later-

"Ok everyone listen up!" The large buffalo said, "we have a big case!" ... "as some of you know, a recruit of ours has been beaten, Nick Wilde" everyone sat in silence while Chief Bogo explained.

"He has been missing for a few days now. We don't have much information on this case, but all I know is-"

"Chief Bogo"... "I think I know who took nick"

Everyone sat in silence and stared at me while I tried to choke up what words to say.

"Well, I think it is a gray wolf, his name is Mr. Giordano... he is one of the most wanted predators in Zootopia, he has committed 18 robberies, killed 11 mammal-"

"Ok Hopps, I know this predator too." Chief Bogo said. "But how do you know this is him?"

"I don't know for sure that it's him" Judy replied "but when we were at the museum case, when nick... got kidnapped, I heard the bears say something about "Girodano" as if they were speaking to him. So I did a check on all the files on the computer, and sure enough there has been many records for theft, manslaughter, and others that concluded he has committed multiple felonies."
