A young girl adjusted her sling of her bag and slightly moved her hair behind her ear and wiped her tears .....

Ye lo beta Ghar ki chavi....an elderly women came in clad in a saree and gave her the keys....

Before she could open the door ...Ru's phone buzzed...

She looked it up it was her long time friend from school ...

Phone toh uta le ru ki bacchi it read...

Ru sighed and before Ru could type her essage back she received a call from him...

Uffo?? Kya hai ?? Ru asked all irritated...

Waah...madam yeh sahi hai.... First you lied to your mother...and second you involve me in your life without asking me now this much attitude waah!!! He clapped his hands... Ru turned over and saw him...

She turned back and saw him .....and sighed...

Rohan Ahuja best friend to Ruhi

There he was ...to the world he was Rohan Ahuja the only son and heir of the huge Ahuja Industries, but for her he was her comfort person a friend or rather to be very accurate her partner in crime....

Birlas and Ahujas were partners and Rohan and Ru too met on a boring dining table in the Birla house...

*******Flashback***********

When Ru and Rohan were 10 years old....

After Abhir had gone ... Ru had lost her talkative ...she was quiet all the time...which bothered Arohi a lot...

It was one such evening the Birlas and
Ahujas were having their dinner, when Rohan saw Ru a silent and beautiful kid like him ...eating...

Rohan saw her after the dinner and saw her moth was not washed properly and handed over a tissue...

Ru swayed his hands out a little...but Rohan's hand hit his face resulting his specs to bump off from his face and land on the floor and shatter into pieces...

Ru saw the way the specs of the little boy shattered and her little hands started to shiver...

The specs... The frame reminded the little heart of only one person her brother Abhir....

Ru slowly inched backwards dragging her feet..the once chubby and bubbly kid had lost all her aura...now she had jitters all over her body....

Rohan saw her that way and neared her but as a painful and as susceptible it was for her she took steps backwards even away from him..

Hey don't worry I will buy a new one.... Rohan said , yes he was that Ameer and spoiled ....

But for ru it wasn't the specs it was the haunting memories of the night....their promises...his face ...their hug...coming altogether in her chotu mind making it hard to breathe for her....

Arohi saw her Ru and immediately took her away in order to assist her ....

Arohi lifted Ru and rushed to her room while a confused rohan stood there because for him he had already broken his glass and his parents had replaced it...he wondered why would she put an act for such a petty thing....

Akshara kneeled down to pick up the major parts of the glass so that he wouldn't get hurt and saw him stand all confused...

Woo Beta...RU recently lost her brother na.... that's why.... Rohan interrupted...

Lost?? Where did he go?? Little rohan asjked innocently...

To GOD akshara replied and wiped her tears and stood up from there and left weeping....

Rohan saw the way she left and stared at the room of Ru's....

He slowly neared her room and saw her hugging her mom and gasping her breathe slowly....

Arohi kissed and caressed her face...

Rohan went silently and sat on her bed....

And suddenly Arohi noticed Not only her Ru...this kid Rohan was also teary eyed...

What happened beta?? Arohi asked...still hugging Ru...

My sister too is with God...My mom said she couldn't bring her from hospital as she is safe with God...Don't worry your brother is also safe ....haina ?? The little boy ended questioning Arohi with tears overflowing in his eyes...

Arohi wrapped him also in her hug....

And kissed both of them...

Yea ru and Rohan ... Your siblings are safe.... Arohi cried....

Par mumma...Abhir is not with god , he is alive.... Ru said crying...

Arohi wiped her tears it had been three years since the day the police man came and declared Abhir to be dead , but from the day to this...Ru refuses to believe her brother is dead...

For her he is still out there and would keep his promise and contact her....

Ru..please beta I know its difficult for you but ...this is the truth..... Arohi said crying...

Both the kids hugged her and soon Arohi left for some job that she had to attend leaving these two in her room..

A silence prevailed between both the kids...

Why do you think , he is alive...?? Rohan slowly asked...

Because he promised me ... Ru said all crying...

He promised me that he would call....He is out there...but no one believes me... she cried...

Rohan this time took the tissues and wiped her tears...

Don't worry I will help The kid said... I cannot find my sister, but if we can find your brother we will... the kid said and hugged her...

Par kaise.... Ru asked...

Hum bhi kho gaye tho?? Ru asked...

We will search from here itself in our school...nearby...and when we are old we will search more places that wway we will never get lost ... Rohan said..

Haan...teek hai...but we will search our school and all places near us??? Ru said...

Rohan nodded a yes and wiped her tears and hugged her...

Par what about your sister Rohan?? Ru asked...

Tu haina.... My dost.... Rohan said hugging her...

Ru too hugged Rohan and cried and said... Haan main hoon....tere saath...

And that's how there relationship started....

From being the solace in their pain to having each other's back they shared a strong and a beautiful bond of friendship...

She turned and saw him....and sighed...

I came here for you...madam and look at you ...you cannot even greet properly... Rohan made faces...

Ru sighed and went an gave a hug... Tumahare nautanki toh khatam hi nahi hote na..??? She sighed....

Rohan too hugged her and smiled and gently broke their hug..

And Rohan saw the house in front of him...

It was all dusty and damaged....

Tujhe aise booth banglow pasand ayi rehne ke liye Rohan Taunted...

Ru saw him in his eyes...Rohan could see her eyes slowly dive in her pool of tears...

And he hugged her again....

And Ru too hugged him..and cried a little...

Don't you think if he wanted to return, he would have by now Ru?? Rohan slowly asked....

As they grow up Rohan too believed that Abhir was dead but whenever he saw Ru and how passionate and innocent she was when talking about Abhir, he did not have the heart like the elders of the family to disagree with her beliefs...

Infact Now ru had taken up MBA course in Shimla ...and in the pretext that she was staying in the collage hostel .... She had rented the old house of Abhir...

Rohan too followed her....Rohan did not have much of an interest in studies..He did whatever Ru did...and With help of Ru and his Pap's wealth he passed his exams...

Now these two were standing infront of the house...

Ru hoping she would get some clue of Abhir and eventually tracing him...

Rohan truly hoping for evidences of Abhir's death so that Ru could finally move on and accept the truth...

Ru opened the doors of the house and soon enough two mice ran near her foot..making her squeal in fright.....and she held Rohan's hands....

Rohan saw the way the mice ran and peeked inside the house...Leafs...spiderwebs....Some bird Nest...and what not was there....

Rohan took his hand from hers...

You think Rohan Ahuja...will stay here....?? Yeh ghar nahi hai dungeon hai Ru....I am not staying... he said and walked back a little...

Ru coughed from all the dust and adjusted herself slowly.... I will clean Ro...please ,,,

Pagal hai kya ghar ko clean karte hai..Ru yeh toh..pata nahi kya hai...

We will stay in our guest house Ru maze karenge..... Rohan said...

Ru nodded a no....

Duffer ....if we live in your guest house wont our parents know that we are not in our college hostel... she hit her head.....

Rohan scratched his head... haan...wo bhi sahi hai... Par main iss zoo main nahi reh sakta tha...sorry haan...aur tume bhi nahi rehna chahiye... he said..

Ru faked a smile.... I am staying here only...

No you are not....

No I am infact we are staying here...

No way... this went to and fro and Rohan tickled her and soon Ru burst into laughter...

The empty house echoed in her laughter...the house where once Abhir's happy family lived finaly heard the sound of laughter after all these years..

After they had laughed so much that they were trying hard to breathe...they had stopped...

Rohan sighed a little as he had lessened the tension in Ru's mind...

I am staying her only Ro....If you want to go...Uh...so easily you ask me to go na...when its about your brother.... Rohan interrupted Ruhi...

Rohan all his life had seen Ru as sister that he had lost young, as much as he wanted Abhir to appear in her life and pull Ru out of her depression..He always feared the day Abhir would walk in Ru's Life...What if she ignores him?? Then he brushes off her thoughts seeing her..this has been a constant fear running back of his mind...

Aisa nahi Rohan its just I understand you come from a more wealthier family than mine...

Shhhhhh..... Rohan silenced her ...and hugged her..

You are important to me Ru..I don't care what you do..I will be there... Rohan said and hugged her...

Ru too hugged him back...

And they saw the house again....

Par jhadu toh hi lagayegi... Rohan said without breaking the hug..

Ru smiled and snuggled him even more... Teek hai... she said and smiled...

They went into the house and started cleaning.....

Somewhere in small mansion in Shimla.....

Neela ma....Where were you?? I have been searching....( I hope that elderly woman name is correct, if wrong do correct me)

She saw with tears in her eyes....

Someone has come to lie in your house ...Beta...sun otoh....

I am sorry ...I have come here to see you....Nothing is there for me in that house...and I don't know what you are talking about.... A voice sternly came back....

The boy held his hand as if stopping her ...Aakash...Aakash Sharma is my name he said....and walked off...

He saw himself on the mirror...

I have left all things behind me ...Nothing matter to me anymore...he told himself at the mirror and sighed...and dropped dead in front of the dressing table...

He saw his travel bag in the mirror he stood up and walked back to his bed and took the bag..
.he dug in and took the pepper spray....His eyes filled with tears as he saw it....

He immediately threw the bottle inside the bag not wanting to look at it...It seemed if he held that spray more than two seconds..All his guards would come down...

He threw the bottle inside the bag and wiped his tears as he choked ...he let down a long breathe...

Nothing much of what happened in the past mattered to him he said to himself again and leaned back on the bed....with tears wanting to escape his eys but his pain and past traumas stopping it...

*****Back to Kasauli*****

Rohan and Ru had cleaned the house and were laying lifeless on the sofas...

We did it... Ru slowly said and asking for a hi five...

Rohan wiggled his finger like giving an hi Five hinting how tired he was...

Waise if #RoRu come together na...nothing is impossible...Rohan said...

Ru hit her head....all irritated..

Why couples should have all the fun...we are friends and we too deserve a hastag...

Teek hai tume RoRu nahi pasand na...What about

#RuRo

Or...or..

#HiHa

Or we can make it #HiHan also... Rohan said...

Ru looked at Rohan and she was done with him..

One moment he would give the world's best advice and solace and next moment he would be this goofy head that would never stop with his nonsense...

Ru somewhere saw her lost old self in him...

While cleaning she saw an old photo of Abhir with Abhinav ji and she now held it against her chest..

I will find you billa boy... she said..

*******Back to Shimla.******

I am sorry Ruhichuhi ..I will never come back .... He said...

Both messed up in their heads...

One with Denial One with Hope ....

What will happen when they meet??

Will they recognise each other??
