Sam P.O.V:

After a few hours I saw it was begining to get dark so after showering and dressing in my pj's, a sweatpants and a t-shirt, I go look for the others to say goodnight.

I see Jace's door half open so I go to him first. I go into his room and see him and Clary talking. Clary sitting at his desk and him on his bed. I clear my throat and their heads snap to me.

"Hey guys, I don't mean to bother you, I just wanted to say goodnight." I say with my hands in the back of my jeans.

"Already?" Jace asks with a smirk.

"It's eleven." I tell him and his eyes widen in surprise.

"Yeah, why?" I ask him.

"Didn't realize it was so late." He answers and I nod.

"Well, uh goodnight." Clary says standing up and coming over to me and gives me a hug. Jace does the same and I exit the room looking for Alec and Izzie.

I go to Izzie's room and knock.

"Coming!" She yells from behind her door. She opens it and my eyes widen at her. She has a short night gown that barely covers her front.

"Izzie!" I hiss at her. I grab her arm and pull her in the room and shut the door.

"What?" She asks clearly confused.

"You can't open the door practically naked." I tell her exsaperated.

"Why not?" She asks me and I give her a 'really' look and she just sighs.

"I am comfortable like this. Anycase everyone has seen me in less." She says with a shrug.

"You say that like it's something to be proud of." I state with a huff.

"I am proud of my body." She says and I just shake my head.

"I didn't come here to tell you what to wear. I came hear to say goodnight, so goodnight." I say while stepping forward and giving her a hug.

"Night." She says while hugging me back.

I pull back and I leave.

Next up is Alec. Last but definitely not least. I walk to his room and the closer I get, the more nervous I get. Why am I so nervous?

I get to his door and I start to get even more nervous but also excited. I knock quickly before I can talk myself out of it.

"Who is it?" He yells.

"It's Sam." I say. I hear shuffling inside before the door is flung open. I am met with a smiling Alec whose face lights up as he sees me. We are in a daze staring at each other before ge says something.

"Wanna come in?" He asks. Not trusting my voice, I nod. He steps aside and I enter his room.

"Everything ok?" He asks and I smile at his care.

"Yeah, I just wanted to say goodnight." I finally manage to speak.

"Oh ok, so are you going to sleep right now or do you want to stay here for awhile?" He asks nervously.

"You don't have to it was jus-" He starts to sadly add on quickly but I stop him.

"I can stay." I say and his eyes widen.

"Really?" He asks excited.

"Yeah." I say nodding.

"Soo what do you want to do?" He asks me.

"What can we do in the comfort of your room?" I ask sarcastically and he smiles.

"We can talk." He says and I nod. I run over to his bed and jump on it and lay down. He chuckles at me, comes over and lays down next to me. He gets under the covers but I just lay on top.

We lay there in silence, but it's a comfortable silence. I hear Alec's breathing becoming deeper and I look over to see him sleeping. So much for talking. I stand up and close him properly. I place a kiss his forehead and he smiles in his sleep. I smile as well and leave.

I go to my room and lay down but I am not sleeping so I think of how I told Jace I'd get him back for mocking me. I get an idea and go out of my room to see if Izzie is still awake. I see the light burning from underneath the door and I knock.

"Sam? Is everything ok?" She asks when she see's it's me at the door.

"Yeah, I'm good."

"Then why are you at my door in the middle of the night?" She asks confused.

"I wanted to know if you would help me prank Jace?" I ask her and she grins.

"Of course. You don't even have to ask." She says while bouncing on her heels in excitement and I beam at her.

"So what did you have in mind?" She asks me grinning like a nad woman and I'm sure I match her.

"Well I was thinking..."

~A few minutes later~

"So what do you think?" I ask her as I complete telling her my plan.

"It's perfect." She squeals.

"Two problems" I tell her.

"What is it?" She asks

"One: where do we get the stuff and two:how do we get into his room?" I tell-ask her.

"One:a 24 hour store, two:I'll use my stele." She answers me sassily.

"That could work, except for the going to the store. Alec might murder us." I say sassing her back.

"Fine, I'll go alone." She says scoffing.

"What? No, you can't. Maybe we should leave the prank." I say with widend eyes.

"No way are we letting that genius plan go." She says while crossing her arms.

"Look Sammy, calm down, I'll be fine." She says calmly.

"But what if you get attacked or something." I say trying get her to stay.

"Then I'll fight them off." She says shrugging.

"Izzie-" I start.

"I'll be fine, Sammy. Promise" she says taking me by my shoulders and looking in the eyes and I sigh.

"Okay, but be careful." I say sternly pointing my index finger at her.

"Sir, yes, sir." She says mock saluting me while giggling.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." I say giggling with her.

~an hour later~

It's been an hour and I'm getting worried. I was about to go wake up Alec and Jace when Izzie walks into the room. I let out a sigh off relief and jump up to hug her.

"I was about to go wake up Alec and Jace." I say and she chuckles.

"And ruin our prank, yeah no way." She says grinning.

"Did you get it?" I ask and she nods holding up a plastic bag.

"Perfect, let's go put our prank in motion." I say to her and I hold a hand up for a high five which she gives.

We sneak into Jace's room. He is fast asleep and looks so innocent, so adorable when he sleeps. I giggle slightly which earns me a jab in the ribs from Izzie.

Izzie keeps watch while I set the plan in motion. Finishing the prank we leave his room and when we are safely in Izzie's room and the door is shut, we burst out laughing.

"He's gonna be so mad." Izzie says between laughs.

"Forget him being mad, imagine how he'll look." I say and we laugh harder.

"Anyway, it's like 2 am we should get some sleep." Izzie say yawning.

"Yeah" I say yawning as well.

"Night Sam"

"Night Iz"

I leave her room and go to my own. Laying down in my bed I giggle softly thinking about our prank.

Man, Jace is gonna be mad.
