Three days before Christmas

I finally finish wrapping all the present and ready to put them on the tree. Luca, one of my cats, startled me by walking over the piano and jumped up and accidentally drop an ornament from the tree.

I scold Luca as he walks away. I went back to the tree and pick up the broken ornament pieces and froze when I realize it was my one of my favorite one.

It was an Iron Man ornament Kookie bought me. I remember the night we watch the all the movies in one night for the hell of it. He was so such a fan of Iron Man, and I was talking about the movie on a constant basic, Kookie got jealous of Robert Downey Jr. I thought it was adorable how cute and pouty he would get when he would be jealous.

So that year for Christmas he bought me a Iron Man ornament and told me that this was closest I could get to the Robert Downey Jr.

The door bell interrupted my thoughts. I got up and open the door. I see Rose and Jisoo handful of gifts.

"Oh my goodnesses. What's going on?" I ask through laughter.

"We brought our gifts early..." Rose starts to explain as she walk into my apartment and put the gifts down. "Because we have boyfriends who have patience of a five year old."

I giggle at her words.

"She's not kidding Jin has non stop asking me and looking for his presents. I was ready to kick him out of the place till Christmas." Jisoo tells me.

"Since J hope is staying with us till his place is getting done, I have two five year olds."

"Well, that's okay." I tell them as I help them put the present under the tree.

"I have more in the car." Rose tells me as I was helping Jisoo.

Jisoo and I eye each other confused. I look around and I saw there were a lot of presents. After five minutes, Rose came in with more gifts.

"Rose! This is a lot of gifts. You guys didn't have to buy so much." I tell Rose.

She gave me a look of confusion, then a guilt look. "Oh Umm, it's not all from me and Jimin. There from someone else too." She mumbles out.

I look at Jisoo and she open her mouth and close it as she understood.

But I didn't.

"Did Jennie make you bring her gifts too?"

"Umm no."

I became more confuse. "Who else?"

"Jungkook."

My eyes widen at the name. "Oh. Umm okay."

"Yeah sorry. He asked us to bring them so everybody could open their presents together." Rose explains.

I look down with guilt. It didn't occur to me that this would be the first Christmas without his friends on Christmas Day.

"Is he spending it with his family?" I ask Rose.

Her eyes held curiosity in them when I ask her this question.

"No. He will be home."

"Alone?"

"Alone." Rose confirms my question.

"Oh okay." I said sadly. I shook my head from the sadness and give Rose and Jisoo a smile.

They gave me sad eyes when I gave them a smile.

"Lisa, do you want to invite him?" Jisoo asked me.

I turn to Jisoo with sad eyes. "I'm not ready." I tell her.

She understood but I also could see in her eyes that she was disappointed in me.

"Well we will head out now. See in you on Christmas." Jisoo said as they got up.

"Okay. Bye." I tell them.

After they left, I went back to my couch and look at the presents under the trees. The guilt of Kookie spending Christmas alone was eating me up.

I got up from the couch and went to kitchen and got out some ingredients to bake my famous chocolate croissant cookies. I'm not a good cook but I bake pretty well. So these cookies are my pride and joy of Christmas. After four and half hour in the kitchen baking, I check the clock, it's close to 11:15 pm.

It was late but I felt the need to get these delivered. So I pack the cookies in a container, got my shoes on, in my car and drove.

My heart was beating beating nervously but I knew what I was doing the right thing.

After twenty five minutes I was standing in front of a familiar building. All the happy memories was coming back piece by piece. The cold air was making me shiver so I decided there was no turning back.

I went into the building, second floor and the third door on the right. I stood at the familiar door in-front of the old Christmas wreath.

A smile came on face remembering buying the wreath with him. We were so broke and we bought an ugly wreath just to have a Christmas decoration. It was small but we told ourselves it was the beginning of moving up.

I hesitated but I still knock on the door. It was silent for a moment, but then I heard some rustling behind the door.

When the door open, I saw familiar brown eyes widen at the sight of me in front of him. He blink a couple of times but I wave a him to assure him I was here. I was so enchanted with his eyes, I didn't realize he was shirtless.

I blush at the sight of his abs. I remember how shy I would get when we first lived together seeing him half naked.

"Hey." I spoke out first.

"Hey."

"Umm, I was told you were spending Christmas alone." I tell him. He nods his head. "I'm sorry for that. I didn't think before I plan this dinner."

"No, it's okay. I know how much you love Christmas."

I give him a small smile. "So did you."

He nods his head. "Yes, but I only loved it as much as I did because of you."

My stop breathing at that moment. I didn't know what to do or say.

"Lili?"

I blink at what he called me.

"What are you doing here?"

I push my hand out and showed him the container of cookies.

A smirk was form on his lips as he grab the container. "Chocolate croissant cookies?" I nod my head. "I love these cookies."

I remember him always making sure the ingredients for these cookies were always first on the Christmas grocery list.

"Well I just came by and drop them off." I tell him.

I turn around ready to leave but my hands was entangled in my hands.

"It's close to midnight." He said. I tilt my head. "Don't ever drive pass midnight." He told me.

That was one of the rules he had for me because he was worry about me. If I had to go somewhere past midnight, he would drive me or pick me up.

"Come inside." He tells me. I gulp at his words.

"Kookie I can't." I whisper out.

"Please nae sa-rang." He silently begs.

My eyes started to sting at his choice of word. I close my eyes for a brief moment.

When I open my eyes, he was in front of me begging with his eyes, that I would come in.

I gave up under his gaze.

I step aside and walked into the familiar apartment.

Ding dong.

Midnight was the time on the clock.
