It had been a few months.Brandi and Tom would often go to their houses or McDonalds or someplace and just talk.Brandi found this as a "painkiller"(meaning when she talks to tom,she forgets the pain she has.) They became best friends.But then tom found his own little group of guys to hang out with.Brandi and tom would still hang out occasionally but not too much,So Brandi was mostly on her own.

One day,At one of their hangout areas tom looked a little depressed.Brando kept questioning frantically.She couldn't help but worry.Tom sat down and sighed.They were at Brandi's house sitting in her room."I have to confess something,Remember that day we met?"He asked.Brandi nodded with a slight smile.She had a warm feeling.That was the first day anyone talked to her without making fun of her."Well,I was dared to.My friends even hated you and convinced me to and they considered it a 'cruel' thing to do to me.and to be quite honest,I've never had the greatest opinion of you."Tom sighed and left.

Brandi spent the rest of that night crying,non-stop.sShe couldn't help it.She felt nothing but hurt and betrayal.She officially lost her mind.5 years of being abused,watching her mom get murdered by her father and watching her father commit suicide,Being bullied nonstop at school and actually thinking she had a friend but it turned out as someone who  hated her too.She stopped her crying and started laughing.She idmediatly left the house.
