...3 months later...July 6, 2019...

"So, where is the new secret base?" I ask.

"It's the Watchtower," Timmy answers.

"Ah, cool," I nod, forming my suit around me as they get in their uniforms.

"Are you okay?" Richy asks.

"Uh, yeah... I'm just gonna see everyone I lied to badly..." I mutter. "Perfectly fine."

"If you're not ready, we don't have to do this," Timmy says. "The whole team is going to be there."

"If I don't go now, I'll never be ready," I admit.

"Flash will be there as well," Bruce speaks up.

Richy steps up to the zeta-tube. "You aren't alone."

Tim finishes changing and steps up next to Richy with Damian right behind him.

Bruce walks up to the zeta-tube. "I'll see you all over there."

"Recognized: Batman, 02."

"I'm with him," Tim says, walking in.

"Recognized: Red Robin, B20." Damian gives a light squeeze to my hand before heading in too. "Recognized: Robin, B28."

Richy holds both my hands in his, pulling forward to place a kiss on my temple. "You got this." He let's go and enters.

"Recognized: Nightwing, B01."

I sigh to calm my racing heart. Well... at least to normal speedster calm. "I can't do this..."

~You must,~ Storm huffs, pushing me forward with her head. ~And you will!~

"Storm! Stop!" I shout. "Storm!"

"Recognized: Bolt, B08. Storm, C03."

~~~Artemis POV~~~⬆️

"Recognized: Nightwing, B01."

"Sounds like the whole family is here," I mutter, setting my book down and beginning to stand up to stretch before going to greet them.

"Recognized: Bolt, B08. Storm, C03."

My eyes widen, and I run off as fast as I can, not hearing the person I'm leaving behind call out for me.

~~~Aura's POV~~~

I nervously exit to find Damian and Richy waiting for me. They each give me a smile.

"Looks like you needed a shove?" Richy jokes, looking at Storm who's still pushing me forward towards them.

"Yeah... She wouldn't let me back out."

Suddenly I'm slammed into by a hug. "Oh my God... You're really here..." he whispers out.

I look up to my uncle and return the hug tightly. "I'm so sorry..."

"How... what? I don't..." he cries out, sobbing on my shoulder.

"I'll... explain everything once the others are here," I mumble, squeezing him tight.

"A-Aura..." a voice mumbles out.

Barry releases me, and we turn to look at the speaker.

My eyes soften as I wipe a few tears. "Arty..."

"Is that really you?" she mutters.

"I'm sorry, Arty."

She moves closer to me, wrapping me in a hug. She quickly moves away with a few sniffles before she slaps me across the face. "Where were you?! You died right in front of us! How are you here?! Why would you do this?!"

"Ouch... Alright, I deserved that, and I'll explain soon."

The other members begin to appear. Most of them I don't recognize. Megan and Garfield tackle me, tears running all down their faces. Artemis crosses her arms in annoyance.

"Aura!" they sob together.

Both look completely different. Megan is now embracing herself as a white martian and Gar is in new threads and a new haircut.

"Dude, who's that?" a blue suited kid asks a kid dressed in Kid Flash theme.

"She's my first cousin once removed, dude," the Kid Flash responds. "Bolt."

"Didn't she die?"

"Mom... ma?" a small voice calls out but heard by everyone. A little girl walks up to Artemis. She has blonde-red hair and deep green eyes. She looks up at me curiously.

Richy walks up beside me in shock. My eyes widen as I look down at the freckled little girl before looking to Artemis. "Is she–?"

"Yes," Artemis cuts me off.

My eyes blur as I fall to my knees in front of my niece. "She's... so beautiful. Artemis, I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help." I sniffle. "Hello, I'm your daddy's sister. Your aunt."

"Aunt? Aunt?"

"Yes," I nod. "What's your name?"

"Aura!" she smiles enthusiastically.

I release a surprised gasp and look up at Artemis.

"I named her after my best friend and sister," Artemis replies.

I sniffle. "How old are you Aura?"

"2!"

"Little Aura," Richy mutters, eyes tearing up not meeting her till now. "Wow, you look just like him..."

"Who?" she asks.

"Your dad, little Aura," I tell her. "You have his freckles and his pretty green eyes. I'm sorry you'll never meet him. He would love you with everything he has."

"Could we get a hug?" Richy asks, spreading his arms out.

She races into our arms and squeezes as hard as she can. Both our eyes widen.

"She has super speed!" Richy and I shout.

"Yeah, she's kind of a troublemaker," Flash admits.

"Just like her parents," I joke.

"Explanation, now," Artemis demands, getting impatient and tapping her foot with her arms crossed.

I give a sigh as I tell them the whole story.

About an hour passes before I finish. "That's why I had to go."

"We understand," Megan says, moving up to me and bringing my hands into hers. "I know for a fact that I'd try in get in contact with you almost every day."

I chuckle and hug her. "I knew you would've. I missed you, M'gann."

"I'm glad to have you back with us," Conner smiles, giving me a hug as well.

"I'm so glad you're alive!" Garfield cries, sobbing as he hugs me.

I kiss the top of his head as I return his hug. "I hear you're a tv star now, huh?"

Gar becomes a little sheepish. "Hehe..."

"It is wonderful to see you again my friend," Kaldur greets.

"Wow, Kaldur, you got taller! Love the new threads. Very Aquaman."

He smiles. "That was the goal. I now go by Aquaman and am the leader of the Justice League."

My eyes widen. "Seriously?! Holy crap! That's awesome!" I shout as we do our not so secret handshake we made up. "Congrats. Also, digging the new haircut."

"Could say the same with your hair colors."

"Touché." I look at all the new comers. "So, who's the new cousin I heard came from the future?"

A boy in Kid Flash threads steps up.

"I'm Bart Allen. I took over the mantle of Kid Flash. My name used to be Impulse. I'm Flash's grandson from the future. I knew you were still alive cause you were alive in the future, but I couldn't tell anyone obviously cause spoilers!" he says, beginning to talk really fast by the end. So fast only speedsters would be able to listen.

"Flash, you have kids?" I ask him.

"Twins. They're two," he replies tiredly. "Speedsters too."

"Wow, they really weren't kidding when they said the speedster family gets big," I say, turning to Richy who nods.

"Crazy big," Bart says.

"Wait, how do you know that the family gets big?" Barry asks.

"Well, Nightwing, Wally, Conner, and I went to the future 5 years ago," I tell them. "It seems to me that everyone who is a speedster their children will have the gene. We'd love to explain more, but the future we went to wasn't set in stone, so a lot of it might not come true."

"Yeah, it's best to keep quiet," Conner says, giving Megan a quick glance.

"Anyway... Are you all going to introduce yourselves?" I ask, looking at all the new teammates I've never met. "I'm Bolt aka Aura West, but you probably already knew that."

"Blue Beetle. Real name is Jaime Reyes."

"Arsenal, I'm the real Roy Harper."

"Nice to meet you finally then."

"Virgil Hawkins, but I go by Static."

My eyes widen, remembering our trip to the future.

"I'm Static. Black Lightning was my mentor, but Bolt also was my mentor to help control my powers better when we do meet."

"That's what he meant when he said when we do meet," Conner gasps.

"Huh?" Virgil utters.

"We met you in the future," Richy says. "Your future self told us that Aura became your mentor along with Black Lightning."

"Your future self kind of hinted at me faking my death and returning," I tell him. "I had a feeling that was the reason."

"I'm Arrowette. My real name is Suzanne King-Jones but call me Cissie."

"I'm Spoiler, but I'll tell you my real name later since you're technically a bat."

"I'm Wonder Girl! It's nice to meet you! My real name is Cassandra Sandsmark, but I go by Cassie."

"Ah, you're Red's girlfriend," I say, smirking at Tim. "He talks about you every once in a while."

The two blush as I chuckle.

"I'm 13 and my name is Traci Thurston."

"Wow, you weren't kidding with how big the batfam got," I say, looking at Timmy. "We got 6 new members since I left."

"Yeah, the batfam is definitely growing," Richy says.

"Well," I say, scooping up little Aura and giving her a light toss in the air in which she squeals with glee. "It's nice to meet everyone. Especially you, little Aura." I give her tummy a tickle to make her giggle. "Now there's a couple more people that I should go see."

I exit the zeta tube and dash off towards my destination, skidding to a stop in front of the door and ringing the doorbell. After a couple seconds, the door is open.

"Hey, mom," I smile.

Her eyes widen and she begins to cry, engulfing me in a hug. "H-How–?!"

"Is dad home?"

She nods, wiping her eyes and pulling me into the living room where dad is watching tv.

"Honey..."

He turns to us and immediately stands up and rushes over.

I hug the both of them tightly. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to save Wally. I'm sorry for not being here. I'm sorry. I... have a lot of explaining to do..."

I speed to a stop at my next destination and ring the doorbell.

"Just a minute!" her voice calls out. "Don! Stop squirming!"

A few bangs sound before the door is opened. Iris stands there with her son propped on her hip with wide eyes.

I smile. "Hey, aunty."

After explaining my story again, I stay a few hours to play with my twin cousins, Dawn and Don.

Night time falls and my last stop is in Gotham City. I'm perched on one of the many gargoyles here, stalking for my prey. I'm shifted into my supersuit, but it's completely black. My hair is also completely pink.

From the corner of my eye something moves along a rooftop. It's not any of the bats, but it's definitely a certain cat. I dash down the side of the building and begin to run along side her.

"Fancy meeting you here," I speak up.

She turns and freezes in her tracks, making me have to back track after running so far ahead of her.

"You... what... how?" she mutters out.

"It's a long story, Aunty Selina. You got the time or are we going to steal some cat related thing?"

She laughs. "It can wait till tomorrow." She moves up to me and gives me a tight hug. "I missed ya kid."

I fakingly gasp. "I thought you didn't do hugs?"

"Don't push it."

My last stop of the night was a bit more tricky to pull off. One, because she doesn't stay in the same house as all those years ago. Two, he could be with her. Three, she could be in Arkham.

It took some time, but I finally managed to find her. She still lives with him, but he was already asleep by the time I got there. She wasn't.

"Alright, I know someone's there. Don't make me sick my babies on you!" Harley calls out into the room. She stands up, looking in my direction.

Bud and Lou are at her side, wagging their tails. Storm was with me for this run and she walked up to the two boys.

Harley gasps and falls to her knees to pet Storm, crying all over as she hugs her.

I step out and walk up behind Storm, giving Bud and Lou a few quick pets. "Hey, momma."

Harley gasps and looks up at me in surprise. "D-Dawn?"

I smile. "No, that was never my real name."

She stands up and buries me in a hug. "Y-You shouldn't be here, little monster..."

"I came to see you and to explain what really happened to me after I died. As long as you don't tell Joker, okay?"

She looks down in thought and sadness. "I won't. How did you find me?"

"Trust me, it took way too long. Don't worry I won't tell Batsy or anyone else. You were my momma. You raised me for a good few years. Those years weren't the best, but... the best moments were mainly with you."

She bursts out crying again.
