Nejis pov

I was looking around anxiously. Today was the day neji returned from the training camp. I couldn't wait to see my baby again. Its been far too long!

The bus arrived and neji jumped out. He caught sight of me and ran into my arms.

"shikamaru! I missed you so much" he nuzzled against my chest.

"I missed you too love" I kissed his forehead "how was the training camp?"

"it was good. I learned so much while I was there" he smiled brightly "I feel like a much better shinobi now!"

"wonderful then we must celebrate" I wrapped an arm around his shoulder and lead him back home.

Once we arrived back home I placed a cake down in front of him "here we'll eat this to celebrate your return"

The boys eyes lit up. I knew how much he loved chocolate.

He picked up a fork and took a bite "mmm yummy" he said delightedly "you sure know how to pick cakes shikamaru"

"no I just know what you like baby" I said kissing his cheek.

"hehe I'm so lucky to have such a sweet boyfriend" he said wrapping his arms around my neck and pulling me into a kiss. I could taste the chocolate cake inside his mouth "pretty sweet huh" he giggled.

"yeah" I said laying my forehead against his "your are sweet baby"
