pov

I woke up around 8:30 got dressed I really didn't want to leave the room but I'll just go hang out with Draco. I don't want to be pressured into gryffandor. I went down stairs draco was reading a book. "morning"

"morning sleepy head"

"it's 8:45" I complain.

"nope still a sleepy head" I stick out my tongue he repeats the action.

"Sirius you don't look that happy you normally have played hit me or made so comment by now" Draco says he knows me so well

"sorry just annoyed people are trying to make me change houses"

"how about we forget that for today we order breakfast via house elf hang out in here maybe go for a fly latter we are on holiday stop thinking about it"

"fine" that was actually really easily done after breakfast we played wizard chest he won once and I won the other time. We played hide and seek in the dungeon we wouldn't normally seeing as it is rather childish but it was fun. Then we ate lunch also common room. After lunch we went for a fly. Which ended up being tag on brooms. Don't knock it till you try it.

We headed inside around 3:00. We went to the common room. at around 4:30 We where in the middle of a game of dots when Snape walks in. "hello professor" me and Draco say.

"ah ms. Potter the headmaster has requested a word with you about you know what"

"oh the griffandor thing Draco already knows about that can he come" I think he forgot that we where the only slytherins here.

"I don't think it is for the best"

"I'm just going to tell it about it later" I say

"there are no secrets between us well anymore" Draco adds

"Draco it wasn't important"

"yes and you are my best friend just the same so sir can I come" me and Draco both started to puppy dog eyes.

"ms. Potter you have to understand that professor dumbledore would not like it"

"can I come and wait in the room in front of his office" Draco asks

"just come on" Draco grabs a book and we fallow professor Snape.

"how much you want to be Harry brings Ron" Draco whispers.

"oh those odds are very high trying to make another reason for me to join gryffandor" I say making a puking noise. Snape turns around to look at us.

"ms. Potter what are you doing"

"making a point to Draco" I say I wasn't a lie.

"and what was that point"

"well two points one Ronald weasley is disgusting second I don't want to be in griffandor" I explain

"have you told headmaster this yet"

"I have tried but he never really let me" I say look down.

"well we will have to bring that up let's go" we made it to Dumbledores office. Draco toke a seat outside and to no surprise when me and Snape walk in Harry Ron and mcgonagall are there. But it was surprising Dumbledore wasn't.

"this is unfair can Draco come in" I ask

"no" Harry and Ron say put Snape nods.

I get Draco. "Draco Ron is in there so Snape says you can come in" Draco gave me a warm smile and comes in with me.

"what is the point of Malfoy being here" Harry asks

"what is the point of Ron being here?" I shot back.

"and Draco is mine" I say

"no no no" harry says sticking his fingers in his ears. The slytherins in the room roll there eyes. Mcgonagall shots a smile at Harry and Ron just looks disturbed.

Dumbledore choses then to walk in. Now if you tell people to go some where wouldn't you expect them to be here when you arrive. "ah now mr. Malfoy mr. Weasley why are you here" Dumbledore asks Ron shrugs.

Draco says "I felt I had a responsibility to support my best friend and what she feels is right for her to do" I shot Draco a smile he smiles back.

"well I'm sorry I would request that you leave" dumbledore says.

"excuse me sir I'm more than likely to tell Draco everything latter or he will listen at the door so there is really no point" I explain Snape shots both me and Draco a smile. I could tell he was proud of his snakes.

But the smile faded once dumbledore tarts to speak again. "I dont want him to influence your thoughts on the matter seeing as he is a slytherin him self his presence might make you sway towards that side" Dumbledore says

"no buts ms. Potter. Mr. Malfoy"

"see you in a few Sirius"

"see yah Draco" he leaves the room.

"ok now that that is over with let's get started"

"what about mr. Weasley" Snape says glaring slightly at Ron. Dumbledore's smile falls slightly what is his game.

I could here "stupid Snape I wanted to here" and saw his lips move mutters some undetectable words.

"now let's get started ms. Potter I would like to make a request that you give us the memory of your sorting" Dumbledore says

"what?" I say completely confused what did mean I don't know how to do that.

"it is a simple spell just concentrate on the memory I'll do the rest" he says I nod and think of everything the hat tells me. The debate between which house I should be in. Where I fit best or where I would do the best. The listing of slytherin qualities and gryffandor. Yeah I had a decent amount of slytherin but it told me I fit better in gryffandor.

There was a weird pulling feeling and then I saw a blueish clear strip floating off the tip of Dumbledores wand. "thank you ms potter I'll examine it later." I simply nod. "will you for take seats" dumbledore says as four chairs appear behind us. I sat even though I kinda wish I stood so I could make it happen faster.

"now first thing we have to decided is which house ms. Potter will be in"

"slytherin" me and Snape say as mcgonagall and Harry say "gryffandor" there is a look of hurt on harry's face.

"mr. Potter why do you believe ms. Potter would be in gryffandor"

"because she will be closer for me to protect her. The man that killed my parents came from that house, her personality matches gryffandor" harry says I was really mad at harry for that comment.

After the three comments where done three points appeared above dumbledore under gryffandor, slytherin had 0. "whats that" I ask

"a simple way of keeping track of valid points" Dumbledore explains. "now ms. Potter why should you stay in slytherin"

"well first the hat must have put me there for a reason, next my house needs me for quittich, I have friends in that house,"

"you have friend in gryffandor" Harry interrupts.

"but people also don't like me in that house like Seamus and dean" I say

"well nobody likes everyone" Harry says

"I'll be with these people for 7 years I don't want to start with a bad note"

"both of you stop arguing" of course Dumbledore cut me off.

"ms. Potter do not use that tone on me" why does he only cut me off i dont care i dont want to transfer

"I'm sorry" I say looking down. There was only one point added to the slytherin side how unfair.

"now mcgonagall explain to us why she should be in gryffandor." really I wasn't done dumbledore is hiding something I can't tell what his goal is put it is big.

"well you are sorted by personality match so she should go to griffandor, dear don't worry I'm sure wood would be overjoyed to have you on the team" I raised my hand wanting to make a point.

"my concern wasn't about making the team it is what my current team would do and professor Dumbledore I wasn't done with my points"

"fine continue"

"as I was saying before cut off I have really become at home in slytherin I have gotten use to our rules and I'm afraid if I change it may effect my studies" I say another point goes to slytherin.

"ms. Potter it won't be like you can't fallow the same things you did in slytherin" mcganagall says

"not to be rude professor but you are wrong seeing as curfew is different it will take me time to adjust"

"ms. Potter curfew is regulated" Dumbledore says

then it is snapes time to speak. "sir you know that is not true as head of house I have regulated all first years have to be inside common room by nine and in dorms by nine thirty" mcgonagall and Harry both stare at him like that is insane.

"yes heads do have that power I just didn't know you used it" Snape nods.

"well ms. Potter isn't that a good thing more freedom?" dumbledore asks

"well seeing as people would come up from common room at all hours it would irate me"

"but you could also stay up doesn't every child like that don't they" mcgonagall asks confused.

"I kinda do it instantly now" I shrug feeling a little self conscious.

"ok well I don't think that gives a point to anyone" these things go on for an hour.

Almost everything was debated. Harry was going again. "Malfoy loses his temper a lot we have gotten in multiple fights"

"Harry the fights won't stop if I change houses that"

"I would never start them" Harry says

"yes you will because you think he is evil why do you think that oh wait I know he is a slytherin just because you know who and the majority of his followers came from that house doesn't mean we are evil. Professor dumbledore I find this meeting pointless I have been wanting to say that edit an hour when I said I want to be a slytherin isn't that a big sign I won't agree to this" I explode

"ms. Potter look at how many more advantages there are to gryffandor" the score was 17 to 5 because they kept vetoing all the slytherin ones.

"I don't care if I was sorted again I would more than likely be in slytherin. Harry I'm sorry but I'm not a gryffandor I'll never be a gryffandor. Harry it's like me asking you to become a slytherin" I had started to cry

"ms. Potter calm down you have no right to be screaming like this"

"doesn't she have every right you three have been going on making gryffandor sound like paradise it is still just a house in this school" Snape says sharply

"professor we are trying to do what is best for ms. Potter" this made me angrier but not wanting to lose my temper.

I started to cry harder. "look what you have done" Snape raped his arms around me. "it's ok Sirius I won't let them do anything you don't want" he says stroking my hair I calmed down

"thank you professor" I say

"wouldn't have it any other way sir" I say smiling. Harry grabs my arm pulling me away from Snape.

"Sirius think about this please just come to gryffandor hermione and all the weasleys would be happy" harry says

"ms. Potter listen we are trying to do what is best for you in the long run having a Harry with you will help you threw the years to come and I would be honored to have you as one of my lions" mcgonagall says kneeling down looking me straight in the eye. I could tell she believed that but there was something else she had something against slytherin.

"professor there is something you aren't telling me" everyone looked at me.

"yes I knew your parents they where two of my favorite students and I would like to have a better hand in watching both children"

"professor even though that was very sentimental I know you also have a grudge against slytherins most gryffandors do I don't hold you that against you, you want to take one of slytherins top first years so you can win the house cup. But, I would just be hidden behind hermione and I have more potential than that and all four of you know that." I say looking directly into her eyes.

the teachers stared at me Harry knew I was great at reading people from my childhood but probably surprised at the conclusions I was making now. "that was rather rude ms. Potter apologize to professor mcgonagall at once"

"sorry professor" I say but mcgonagall had the face people have when I tell it correctly.

"it is ok"

"now I say we all go get something to eat and resume this at 8:00" Dumbledore says way to happy. We leave the room Draco was pretending to read in the other room. I could tell it was pretend seeing as he turns to the next page to fast. Ron was looking at chocolate frog cards.

"Draco come on dinner" I say

"yep" he puts the book down and we leave before anyone else.

"you where listening" I say

"no"

"it wasn't a question"

"how do you know these things"

"I'm great at reading body langue" I shrug

"so I missed what time do you have to go back"

"8:00" I groan

"it is pointless to go we should just hide you" Draco whispers.

"shush they are right there" I whisper back

"for your time off you want to have chair races" Draco asks

"thank you transfigurations" I say happily at the idea to distract me.

"Sirius" I hear from behind me it was Harry.

"Harry" I say in a bit annoyed tone.

"I forgot to ask where have you been all day?" Ron and Harry where now next to me and Draco.

"I was around" I shrug not wanting to explain every detail of my day.

"you missed breakfast and lunch"

"well according to Dracos standard I slept in really late so we ate breakfast in the common room"

"you can do that?" Harry and Ron ask.

"you've never had a study group that's gone threw lunch and had to get a prefect to order you lunch" Draco says it is really common for us but the boys looked at us as if we are aliens.

"why are you looking at us like that" I ask

"you can't order food" Ron says

"really doesn't mcgonagall make you if you didn't have enough time with your study group?" Draco asks

I remember something and whisper in Dracos ear "they don't have study groups"

"really wow they help a lot" Draco says shocked

"slytherin thing" I say.

"ah" the two boys say we make it to the great hall. I talk to the weasley twins both catching up and planning to meet late tonight. Draco and Harry where in one of there famous glare matches the majority of dinner. I know Draco was trying to protect my interests but both him and Harry get so absorbed in the glaring matches.

After dinner me and Draco did the chair races. We always do fun random things. At 7:55 me and Draco went up to the slythierns guys first year dorm and hide. We played games quietly until 10:00.

Draco had gotten tried and decided to crash I snuck out an went to pull pranks with the twins. I was happy I didn't get caught. Falling into a nice sleep around midnight. Other than the hour of debate it was a great day.

I woke up at 8:00 this morning good 8 hours sleep. I got dressed and headed down stairs Draco wasn't there yet but was down in a minute. "ha I got up before you"

"once" Draco says crossing his arms i knew it bugged him for once i woke up before him.

"oh shut up let's go to breakfast" I say and we headed out. Only professor Dumbledore and 2 ravenclaws where in there. I figured the twins would sleep in and who knows how late Ron and Harry stayed up.

"ms. Potter why didn't you show up last night" dumbledore asks.

"I'm sorry sir I lost track of time" I say making sure there are no tell tail signs I'm lying.

"well we discussed the matter more last night and I would like you to come to my office after you are done eating to tell you the conclusion" I nod sitting down.

"what are you going to do" Draco whispers so Dumbledore won't hear.

"well it depends on what he says" I say

"you know what is going to happen" draco says

"well" I got cut of by Fred and George lifting me up. Dumbledore's back is turned. They ran me out of the room before I could even ask what. We ended up in some random empty classroom. "what are you guys doing" I ask

"we needed to talk to you" they say

"and a nice morning little slytherin let's go we need to talk wouldn't have done fine"

"we know Dumbledore would have been mad"f

"and before you ask why he wants to talk to you"g

"in private before anyone else can"f

"how do you guys know this" I ask

"well Harry came in very happy last night"

"ok what do you mean" I ask nervous

"well he said that you are getting transferred to gryffandor starting today"g

"but we want to ask what you want to do"f

"wow you guys care more than Harry" I comment

"you guys are the best" I say hugging them.

"so what's the plan" I ask

A half hour later

"ms. Potter I told you to meet me in my office" Dumbledore yells from behind. Time for plan a.

"I'm so sorry sir I got tied up with Fred and George." I say as innocent as I can be.

"well come on to my office" I fallow behind. "now this is very important" he says as we sit down in his office.

"what is it sir" god I hate how I sound innocent.

"well let me be the first to congratulate you for the transfer to gryffandor" he says

"sir I would prefer to stay in my house"

"don't worry we have everything all set up already"

"sir didnt you watch the memory I gave you" I say

"yes and the sorting hat loves playing tricks on young students" couldnt that just mean i was always meant to be in slytherin!

"but isn't the word final"

"no no the head master still has the ability to move students if they see it fit."

"but sir I don't want to change houses" I made a very convincing tear go down my face.

"ms. Potter your brother would be so happy if you changed houses" he says

"but"

"ms. Potter are you telling me you wouldn't do anything to make your brother happy" ok plan b Fred and George should be here in a minute and we start a fake fight. Making it seem impossible to be in gryffandor.

Fred and George come rushing in. "harry and Draco are fighting" Fred yells

"what?!?" that wasn't the plan.

"come on" George says grabbing my arm. We run down the stairs and they bring me to where Harry and Draco are on top of each other. Screaming things.

"Draco Harry stop this right now" Draco looks around for a moment and Harry punches him right in the jaw.

"Harry James potter you stop this right now how does it look you fighting like this" I say in a tone that all girls know when they want to get someone ashamed. But of corse at this point he already made Draco bleed greatly and both boys looked like they where about to faint. I don't know if he didn't hear me or chose to ignore me but he was still rolling on the floor trying to get the upper hand.

"what do we do" I ask the twins growing more panicked

"don't know thought your yelling would get them to stop" George says moving back a bit as Harry and Draco roll in our direction. I try one more time.

"Harry James Potter and Draco Lucius Malfoy if you do not stop this fighting this instant I swear I'll never speak to ether of you again" I scream both boys stop but I'm not sure if it was because of my yelling or because they both fainted. Me and the twins brought the two to the hospital wing.

Draco pov (twenty minutes earlier)

Sirius had been kidnaped by the twins again. I couldn't seem to find her. Well what is the worst that could happen. I shouldn't even think that. The annoying potter walks past with a way to happy smile on his face. "what are you so happy about potter" I ask

"oh you will find out soon enough Malfoy Sirius is probably finding out her self right now" he says happily.

"what are you going on about an what does it have to do with my Sirius" did I just say my Sirius. Holly hufflepuff Harry is going to kill me.

"did you just say my" Harry says confused

"no" I lie

"you did Sirius isn't anyone's and I wouldn't be surprised if she barley spoke to you after today"

"what are you going on about" I ask getting annoyed.

"well seeing as you probably wont be told right away and I want to see your face Sirius is transferred into gryffandor"

"your lying" I yell not wanting to believe it Sirius wouldnt go for it anyway.

"no why would I lie about this" potter says happily.

"because you want to get me annoyed" I say bluntly.

"no it's true ask her"

"Sirius would never go for it" I say but you never know what is going to happen. Would I lose my best friend? I can't lose her she is a slytherin.

"oh she will" Harry says smugly I wanted to smack the look off his face but Sirius would be so mad. If this was true I didn't want her to leave on a bad note.

"it's Sirius" I say thinking that would be enough.

"well she is different than your version that you control"

"I do nothing of the sort" I yell annoyed he made the accusation.

"you so do always whispering to each other even yesterday when you made her act snotty" Harry yells

"that was her idea" how Harry and Sirius are twins I will never know.

"you are such a liar you just flirt with her all the time it's not like she had the chose in hanging out with you" Harry yells.

"she always had a chose potter it's not like you can take that away from someone an you should really be thanking me potter you don't know the number of times I have helped her when she is down. How many times I kept Sirius safe so don't say I lie I'm a flirt or I forced Sirius on me. She is my friend and never question that" I say slightly smiling thinking of her. She fills me with warmth.

"wipe that smile off your face before I have to do it for you" Harry yells.

"your thinking about my sister" ugh really that is messed up.

"your minds messed up" I cringe at what he is probably thinking about.

"ha you admit you where thinking about it"

"youre retarded how Sirius are you are twins is impossible to understand"

"really Malfoy we look a lot alike doesn't that bother you" wow he is really annoying

"Harry hate to burst your bubble other than you have the same color hair and eyes you two look nothing alike" I have spent enough time getting lost in her cute little features of her face to know that. Even Snape says she looks more like her mother and Harry more like their father.

"it bothers you doesnt it" potter says teasingly

"well one major difference is you are a retard and Sirius isn't" this got me punched in the stomach.

"Sirius will be mad at you" I say threw clenched teeth.

"what not fight back Malfoy" he says

"no I'm not stooping to your low gryffandor ways" this earned me another punch.

"got a bit of a temper there potter I don't want you to bring shame to the name you share with my best friend" I say

this earns me another punch and a "shut up Malfoy"

"just speaking the truth"

"your dead Malfoy" he says and pushes me to the ground now this is self defense. We started to roll around fighting each other I don't get why he didn't just use a spell potter and his stupid muggle way of fighting.

Soon I heard Sirius's voice she did not sound happy. I look at her feeling really guilty but I get punched across the jaw. I hear it crack so I start to try and get potter off me. which results in us rolling around on the floor I heard yelling but my hearing was disoriented. I black out.

I awoke to some yelling who it was I don't know. "I'm not going" Sirius I think

"ms. Potter" yep "it's already done" Dumbledore that crazy old man what now.

"sirius Dumbledore is right it was decided last night" potter this can't be what I think it's about.

"Harry you have no right to talk to me until you tell me the Truth" Sirius yells I slowly open my eyes. Sirius looked like she would murder someone Harry just looked exhausted. Dumbledore has the same obnoxious twinkle in his eyes as always.

"ms. Potter calm down you will love gryffandor and it will stop the fighting between mr. Malfoy and your brother." he says

"Sirius" ugh my voice is so weak. She turns to me and walks over well almost runs.

"Draco how are you" she asks

"now when I wake you yell at me for hitting Malfoy"

"your my brother and he has more injuries." I chuckle at her logic.

"oh and I have been better been worst" I shrug

"can you tell me what happened" she says pushing hair out of my eyes.

"hey I told you what happened"

"yes so believable that Draco started punching you he would have used a spell smart unless you count the first couple weeks Draco uses spells to start fights you use fist" I laugh at this.

"he did and shut up Malfoy" potter yells

"Harry shut up Draco can you tell me what happened" Sirius says sweetly and I give a full recount of the story.

"ms. Potter was that really necessary" dumbledore asks

"yes because Draco is telling the truth unlike Harry"

"Sirius do you really trust him over your own brother"

"he didn't lie to me" I smile at this

"I learned that unless your eyes are closed it is completely pointless to lie" I say

"ms. Potter you can't possibly tell that without some spell that is just your opinion" dumbledore says

"see trusting Malfoy over your own brother just another reason to be in gryffandor" Harry says

"hmm maybe it's because you lie" I laugh at that.

"children we are off course ms. Potter the house elfs have moved your things to your new dorm and changed your robes. You will get your new schedule when classes resume." dumbledore says

"no she is a slytherin" I say

"mr. Malfoy this hardly concerns you"

"if she leaves slytherin I will tell my father who you know has connections in the ministry that you are defying the old tradition of sorting using the hat" I say bluntly I feel a shock go throw me as Sirius grabs my hand it was a good feeling I ignore it this is important.

"mr. Malfoy this isn't unheard of when the sorting hat puts a student in the wrong house" before I can say anything madam pomfrey comes in.

"professor mr. Malfoy needs rest and you are just working him up you need to leave"

"yes poppy" dumbledore leaves the room.

"mr. Potter you are free to go" unfair

"Sirius are you heading to the common room with me." Harry asks

"no filthy liar" Sirius spits

"Sirius calm down" I say squeezing her hand.

"Draco he deserves to be yelled at"

"ms. Potter if you yell you will have to leave" madam pomfrey says

"fine" Sirius says leaning back in her chair.

"Sirius you are gryffandor you shouldn't be hanging with slytherins" Sirius try's to get up but I hold her hand.

"Draco let go" I shake my head and pull her onto me.

"nope" I say playing with her hair

"told you you are a flirt" Harry tells me.

"Harry you don't hear me complain we are 11 it isn't like we are dating" Sirius says oh that would be nice but she is my best friend a few years then Harry will have to worry. For now I have a plan.

"Sirius gryffandors and slytherins don't flirt"

"well I'm a slytherin now Harry leave" I smile and give a wave to Harry he storms out.

"Sirius I was thinking about us" I say

"Draco I just told Harry I would enjoy dating you but Harry"

"no Sirius wait" I take a ring out of my pocket it wasn't anything that special just a d a s and a heart on a gold band

"I was going to give you this on the last day of break but seeing as we are at school already I might as well this ring is a promises no matter what happens I will be there for you" I know sappy but completely true.

"awn Draco I love it" she hugs me and I feel warmth come over me. She pulls away blushing but goes and puts on the ring.

"ms. Potter go down for lunch mr. Malfoy will be released around 1:00"

"see you latter Draco" she says kissing me on the check. We where both blushing bright red and Sirius ran out stumbling a bit on the way. God I love her. I just have to hope she stays in slytherin.
