Annabeth's P.O.V

To find out that you would end up as a parent would be shocking , but this was an abandoned camper because his family won't take him just cause he is different . I know how that feels like . But even if it's all of a sudden , I will do all I can , even if I have to be his temporary mother . But when I found out that the father image was Percy , I was both overjoyed and and afraid .

Overjoyed because we get to spend most of our times together acting like a small family in my dreams. Only this child was not ours but an Aphrodite child . Normally , I would be suspicious , Aphrodite has been stalking us since Percy denied immortality and it was no was no secret that she ships us , but she wouldn't go low to use a child , right ? Ugh ! I hate not knowing .

Moving on.

Apart from being overjoyed , I was afraid . What I mean is that , Percy and I are not a couple . Though I wish we were , but he loves another. During our spare time , he talks about some girl -though he wouldn't say the name- that captured his heart . He described her as beautiful , smart , strong , brave , amazing and caring . When I asked him who it is , he told me I know her really well. That didn't help me much , I was the oldest camper here at camp , so I pretty much knew every single camper at camp. And if she wasn't from camp , then I don't know her. And that's the point , I don't hold his heart , he must have felt trapped in this , only to put on a mask for Luke. I don't even know what this will cause in our friendship. But all I know is that what ever will happen I will not blame the child . Not even a bit .

~8 minutes later~

Percy's P.O.V.

Dinner was an awkward moment. Annabeth and Luke were sitting at my table while most of the campers , especially the Aphrodite campers were talking among themselves while pointing and giggling at our direction . But we just ignored them . "Hey Wise Girl , how bout I feed Luke while you eat " . All I got was a shake of a head , "Seaweed Brain -" did I ever mentioned that every time that she says my pet name it makes me fell all giddy inside . If not , then it yes, it does . "Even though that is sweet of you , you still need to eat " . "You do too. " I finally got her there .

She finally looked me in the eyes and I felt like getting lost in her stormy grey eyes that haunts my dreams . I almost missed what she said next . "Are you sure that you will be okay with it ? " , asked hesitantly . I answered immediately , "Of course Wise Girl". Was it my imagination or was she blushing ? I quickly shook it off , there was no way she wold like me like I to her . She was about to say something when Luke interrupted , "gagaooba" . I gently took him from her arms and started to feed him baby food . "Okay Luke time to eat this yucky food". I got a slap in the head from Annabeth for that . "Is this the reward I get ? And why would you do that now Luke is gonna think you hate me ." I said while putting on my best baby pout . I saw that she was about to apologize so I added , "kiss it better ?"

The look on her face was priceless but totally worth it . I turned my head back to feed Luke only to feel something soft against my cheek . I turned to find her eating with a small blush . And to think I couldn't love her more . If only I have the courage to tell her and ask her out . If only . If .
