-time skip, three days-

Asriel paced back and forth back stage, nervous out of his mind as he went over the lyrics in his mind, hoping that he got it right for the first round. Asriel and Brittney had practiced their song together even during training sometimes; their friends say that they made it look like a ballet as they sparred. "Asirel, calm down; we will do fine," Brittney said, taking hold of his shoulders with all the love she could give with that simple phrase, wrapping her arms around his neck as they swayed a little. "I know, but I want to do well for you, for us," Asriel replied nervously. "Don't worry; I know you will," Brittney said, touching noses with him lovingly.

A wave of applause soon came from in front of the stage, signalling that the current performers were finished. "Please welcome to the stage Asriel Asphodel and Brittney Blackwood!" the Principle called, getting a wide arch of cheers to come from the audience. "Let's do our best!" Asriel said with a smile, now relaxed. "Yeah," Brittney agreed before they split up.

-in the audience-

A rustle of confusion could be heard as the music started to play, but no performers were on the stage. The intro played sweetly, a custom tune playing from the speakers before a braixen stepped onto the stage.

A new voice soon joined the Braixens as a Lucario stepped onto the stage, looking directly at the fire fox like she was the whole center of his life.

The two Pokemon stood a good distance away from each other, slowly beginning to circle around each other.

The two Pokemon then started to close into each other, one step at a time while still doing the circle.

Asriel: So I sneak out to the garden to see you,

We keep quiet cause we are dead if they knew.

Escape this town for a little while.

And my daddy said stay away from Juliet

At this line, both Pokemon had reached each other and had started to dance quickly, almost as if they were relieved to do so again.

The music suddenly started to slow down, Brittney looking at Asriel in mock confusion.

Asriel: I got tired of waiting

When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said

While Brittney sang this part, the crowd gasped when Asriel got down on one knee, pulling out a box and opening it to reveal a ring.

Both: Marry me, Juliet

I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress

-On stage-

The crowd erupted into thunderous applause when the song ended, getting a standing ovation by the entire audience; Asriel saw his mom in the front row, crying with pride as she clapped for him and Brittney; two delphox's were sitting next to her, looking happy as they cheered for their daughter.

Asriel and Brittney left the stage with smiles on their faces, more so when they saw their friends waiting for them backstage. "Day-amn! That was AWESOME!!" Flae said, congratulating the two on such a great performance. "You guys are a shoe in for the second round," Nightmare followed up supportively. "Too bad your proposal was not for real though," Orron said, getting the other two to glare at him at the semi-negative comment.

While they were distracted, Asriel smiled as he looked at Brittney as she laughed at the other three. 'One day, it will be...' Asriel thought determinedly.
