Only to run into the rain. That did not stop them till they reached the end of the street, panting as they got to the crosswalk. Pressing the button, Asriel waited with Brittney by the lamp as he opened his umbrella. Quickly checking his phone, Asriel saw a text from his dad, saying that the limo was cancelled, causing him to groan silently. When it popped open, Asriel saw that it was only big enough for one Pokemon, so he tried to offer it to Brittney. "No, you keep it; you are part steel type after all. Your spikes could rust up" Brittney declined as they crossed the street. "And you are Fire-type; you could get badly sick" Asriel retorted, trying once again to give her the umbrella. "I will be fine; my fire won't die you know" Brittney declined, smiling at Asriel as they headed home.

Since he did not want to use the umbrella himself, Asriel snapped it shut before tucking it under his arm. As he did, music started to fill his mind, humming the unexpected tune as he turned to Brittney, the sudden music affecting her too as they passed under a street light, the braixen starting to sing, Asriel following after her.

Brittney: Umbrella at your side it's raining but you close it tight

Asriel: "How do you do?" purred a cat just passing through

Brittney: These heels that you like are soaking but is that alright?

Let out a sigh the day is the same as the last

Asriel could not help but smile as he sang with Brittney, have a good time with her despite the rain.

Asriel felt warm as he actually began to dance with Brittney, both staying warm from the other, having a great time getting soaked.

Asriel: Now falling at her side, the drops mix with light

Asriel: There heads starting to sink, this boredom is too hard to fight.

As the random music faded from his mind, Asriel hugged Brittney, laughing with her as they parted, Asriel keeping his soaked arm wrapped around her shoulders. "You sing wonderfully" Asriel complimented, Brittney telling him the same. "My real talent is playing music; I can play just about any instrument," Brittney told him, causing him to look at her in surprise. "Then let's try to write a song together; I with the lyrics and you with the music! I bet we will sound legendary!" Asriel suggested, his love nodding in agreement.

-P.O.V change, Omnipresent-

The Lucario and braixen both had a blast walking home together, each seeming to walk on air with the excitement they had that night. "See you at school tomorrow?" Asriel asked as he dropped her off at her house, smiling at his crush. "If either of us is not sick that is" Brittney replied, getting both of them to laugh. "Good Night Asriel," Brittney told him, giving him a kiss on the cheek before entering her house, leaving Asriel grinning as he went to his house, both thinking that this was the best night of their lives.
