-next week, Monday-

Asriel and Brittney were walking up to school, Nightmare walking between them as they walked. "So, any plans for today?" Brittney asked Nightmare, the Umbreon tensing slightly, but it only lasted for a second. During the four day's they hung out together, Nightmare used to freeze for a few minutes before he was able to give out a response, his voice quiet and unable to meet their eyes. "I think I will just be at home; it is supposed to rain today" Nightmare replied, looking up at the grey clouds above them. "Yeah, good point," Asriel replied, silently hoping that it would not rain, despite liking it himself. "How about we go to the movies today? I heard that the new movie City of Bones came out today" Brittney suggested, naming one of Nightmare's favorite books. "It is?!?" the Umbreon asked, his eye wide as he stared at the Braixen in disbelief. "Yep; I saw the preview to it and it looks amazing," Brittney promised. "Then I HAVE to see it!" Nightmare vowed, an aura of flames erupting around him with his determination, getting Asriel to laugh to himself. "Then let's hope the day ends quickly," Asriel said as they crossed the cross walk, entering school grounds.

-time skip, fourth period-

When Asriel walked into his computer class, he was surprised to see Nightmare sitting at the computer next to his, Mr.Green ( a leafeon) beside him, watching as Nightmare talked about his career in making videos with Adobe Premiere. "I have been using it for years," Nightmare said, noticing Asriel as he moved to stand next to Mr.Green, looking at the computer screen with Intrest. Since they were the only ones in the room, Mr. Green let him play the music with no headphones plugged in the headphone jack, the video starting as it went into wide screen.

The video was of Nightmare seemingly running for his life, the desperation clear in his eye as he looked around wildly. 'Almost there' the recording of Nightmare said, the tone making it sound like it was him thinking as he began to run again. To Asriels complete shock, he saw an arrow shoot from behind Nightmare, looking as if it cut his cheek. Nightmare cursed in his mind but did not stop running. A clap of thunder sounded in the video, a bolt of thunder actually striking Nightmare as he screamed in pain, falling to the ground. 'No... gotta keep... moving' Nightmare thought, the camera creating a close up of his face before he took off again, if not a little bit slower than before.

A short shot of a cave lit with fire inside was shown, Nightmare putting on an extra burst of speed to make it. But it was not to happen. An arrow suddenly erupted from Nightmare's shoulder, making the Umbreon scream again in pain, falling down once more, but unable to get back up, more so when another arrow shot him in the calf, pinning him to the ground. "You thought you could get away? How cute" a deep voice said with the camera focused on Nightmare, who turned slowly with venom in his eyes.  "Screw you... Father" Nightmare growled before the screen turned to black, a Schlick sounding after, a deep chuckle following before the video ended.

Mr. Green was stunned silent as he looked at Nightmare, clearly wanting to say something, but was unable to think of anything. "Yeah; this is what I submitted to a film fest two years ago, sir," Nightmare said, saving the video to his computer before shutting down the program. "I see that you sure do know your stuff. How about I partner you here with Asriel on the next project? It is a free film, so you can create whatever you want," Mr. Green said, walking away slowly to sit down at this desk.

"Hey Nightmare; I did not know you were in my class," Asriel said as he took his seat. setting his backpack down beside his chair. "I just got my schedule created yesterday; Mr. Switch told me to go to an elective and I chose Culinary" Nightmare said, explaining himself; Asriel nodded. "So, what do you want to make as a  video? I have a few ideas, but I would like to hear yours first" Asriel said as more students began to come into the classroom. "How about we make a music video? There are a few songs I like, but I think that you might like them too," Nightmare said as he went to Google Chrome, opening Youtube before going to a playlist, clicking on the first song; Asriel was stunned when he read it, more so when he started to listen to it. "That is great! We could use this song to create a horror like music video!" Asriel said when the song ended, ideas spinning through his mind as he opened Microsoft Word to write them down.

Asriel and Nightmare discussed ideas for a while before they decided who was going to man the camera and who would be acting. "I see that you are killer at acting; how about you are the one that is in front of the camera? I can operate it," Asriel suggested. If he were to have paid close attention, he would have seen a painful look cross Nightmare's eye. ' I wish it were acting' Nightmare thought before he agreed.

-time skip, lunch-

"I think we are set for our video," Asriel said as he grabbed his lunch kit, following Nightmare out of the class. "I think so as well; we will just have to wait and see how the recording comes out" Nightmare agreed as he went down the stairs. Suddenly, Nightmare went flying down the stairs, slamming against the wall with a painful groan, falling down into a crumpled heap as Asriel whirled around to glare at who pushed Nightmare down. "Ha, I knew he was weak" a Machoke scoffed, his voice rich with gloating. "Shove off!" Asriel growled at him before he took the stairs two at a time to get to his friend, helping Nightmare up, who seemed very unstable, his one eye spinning. "I should have known he was not a fighter; just a weakling who cries to his mama every night" the Machoke went on as they walked out of the stair well, Nightmare leaning on Asriel heavily.

The Lucario felt Nightmare tense up, his eye snapping open with such ferocity there was an audible 'snap' in the air. "What did you just say?" Nightmare said, turning around, his eye alight with an inner fire. "I said, you are just a runt who is such a weakling that you always go running to your mama at every little thing! You are nothing," the Machoke said, shoving the Umbreon back.

All hell broke loose at the contact.

An aura of pure darkness erupted off of Nightmare as he was shoved at, but he did not move. "You say I am nothing? We will see exactly I am nothing of..." Nightmare said, his voice completely different as he glared at the Machoke, the fighting types eyes widening with fear. Before Asriel could blink, Nightmare grabbed the Machokes arms and, with seeming ease, threw the Machoke at a wall, a grunt coming out of the Machoke as he got up from the ground. "That is it you piece of crap! You are going down!" he said before he shot forward, throwing a punch at the Umbreon. Asriel heard the blow land, but Nightmare did not react in the slightest.

How can you see into my eyes, like open doors

Asriel was confused when Nightmare began to sing, the aura around him seeming to concentrate more.

Asriel witnessed as a bolt of pure darkness shot from Nightmares paw, holding the Machoke up in the air, a look of pure terror crossing the Machokes eyes.

Asriel tried to brace himself, but a wave of darkness shot over him, making him see nothing for a while. At least, nothing he wanted to see or hear. "Asriel!" a voice yelled, the Lucario turning around to see Brittney standing behind him, a figure standing behind her with a knife to her throat. Asriel ran forward but was not fast enough. The figure, in one fluid motion, slashed the knife across her throat, blood pouring out well before his Aura Sphere shattered the figures' skull. "Brittney!" Asriel cried, catching the Braixen before she fell, holding him in his arms, blood covering his jacket at an alarming rate.

Asriel sobbed as he felt Brittney take her last gurgling breath, her body falling still with death, her eyes glazing over.

"I am so sorry" Asriel sobbed, unable to stop the tears from falling on Brittney's face, sobbing hysterically as he held her close.

Without warning, the darkness vanished the corpse of Brittney vanishing, making Asriel blink in confusion. Looking around, he was stunned to see Nightmare holding the Machoke in a death grip, the Machoke gasping for air on the ground. "Leave me alone!" Nightmare screamed, picking the Machoke up and throwing him once again at the wall, the bricks cracking as the Machoke fell to the ground, knocked out.

"Nightmare!" Asriel heard a voice yell, the Lucario looking up to see it was Brittney, her eyes filled with concern. "Brittney!" Asriel yelled, bolting up from the ground and hugging her fiercely, catching Brittney by surprise. "Are you okay?" Asriel asked her frantically, looking her over for any sign of pain. "I am fine," Brittney replied before Asriel heard something fall to the ground, Brittney yelling in alarm.

Looking back, Asriel saw Nightmare on the ground, his body unmoving...
