Hall of Origin/ announcement at end of chapter

Asriel slowly came too, groaning lightly as he sat up. When his eyes opened, he was shocked to see such a long hallway, the walls a pure, snow white. Pillars of the same color lined the hall on both sides, dazzling him with the small sun reflections in them. Golden accents lined the wall, only making it all the harder for Asriel to see. Asriel slowly got up, refusing to look at the huge chandelier that hung above him, feeling like he was going to go blind if he did. He covered his eyes with his paw, giving him the sweet relief of shade till his eyes adjusted to the brilliant light.

"Welcome, Asriel," a voice echoed through the hall, sounding deep but friendly, startling Asriel. The Lucario turned and looked in both directions of the seemingly endless hallway; he was on his own. It took him a moment, but he soon realized who owned that voice. "Arceus? is that you? What is this place?" Asriel asked to thin air, looking around; it was all so much for him to take in all at once. "This is the Hall of ORigin, believed only to have existed in myth, the very same hall of which you now stand. Come, my son. There are others waiting for you," Arceus replied. With the sound of rippling silk, a door appeared in front of Asriel, opening to him.

Asriel immediately walked towards it, raising his paw again to protect his eyes as he walked through the door. There was a bright flash and a distorted 'swoosh' seemed to fill the air with silence moments later. He uncovered his eyes to see his friends standing in a comfortable hall, the rich red carpet the easiest thing to look at. It only took a second, but when a certain Braixen turned towards him, Asriel felt tears rise in his eyes. "Asriel!" Brittney cried as she ran to him, throwing herself into his arms. Orron, Brandon, Josh, and Leirsa were all talking in low voices, discussing something in a separate group. Arya quietly humming a tune, sitting in one of the many velvet chairs in the room, seeming to be content with her surroundings.

After a few minutes of talking with Brittney, Asriel finally noticed that not all the light warriors were not with him. "Where are Flae and Nightmare? Shouldn't they be here too?" Asriel asked. Brittney only shook her head in response. "We don't know. We haven't seen them since the ritual," Josh told him, confusing the fighting type. Before he could speak, Brittney put a paw to his lips, hushing him. "Another time, okay?" she told him, getting an understanding nod from Asriel.

That was when the room shook. "Now that you all are here, there are two more warriors eager to unite with you," Arceus' voice said, another door appearing the same fashion as before. "This place just doesn't want to end," Orron commented, shaking his head lightly. "It's the Hall of ORigin. I can't say I'm surprised it's so large," Josh replied as they all walked through the doorway. With a flash, they appeared between what happened to be a conversation between two Pokemon.

"And then what happened?" Zoey asked, excitement in her eyes as she looked up to a Pokemon, seated in his lap like a child on Santa's. "Then, the Lucario banished the evil Pokemon, the good Pokemon lived in safety a peace happily ever after," Shadow replied, petting Zoey gently on the head, smiling down at her kindly. The Zorua squealed with glee as the story ended. "Tell me another story! Please?" She asked sweetly, getting Shadow to chuckle. "I'd love to..." he told her, looking up "But it looks like we  have visitors."

Zoey followed his gaze, seeing the happiness, delight and also a hint of sadness in the previously heartbroken Leirsa, tears filling his eyes. Zoey jumped off of Shadow's lap and embraced the Riolu, both of them crying tears of joy at being reunited. "Zoey... I missed you so much.." Lerisa managed to say through his sobs, hugging her tight. "I missed you too. It's good to see you again," Zoey replied, smiling happily.

Shadow got up from his chair and walked up to the other Light Warriors, who were wary of his prescience. His face showed no emotion as he stood taller than all of them. He suddenly raised a paw, looking as though he was about to strike Asriel, who was standing at the front of a group. Surprisingly, he then lowered it, holding his paw out to Asriel. "You're all owed a sincere apology. And a very sincere thanks as well. If not for ever single one of your bravery, I'd still be following the maniac of a demon," Shadow told them, his gratitude clear even in his eyes. Asriel looked at him weirdly, slowly shaking his paw at what he just said.

"So.... your, like, good now?" Orron asked, sounding a little awkward, getting Shadow to laugh. "Put simply, yes. Though, I prefer the term 'reformed'," Shadow replied. "Asriels little intervention all that time ago brought back a flicker of hope in me. With my ancestors guiding me, I finally was able to let go of my past evil self, granting me access to the hall. I was more than happy to make the trade," Shadow explained to there confused looks. "Otherwise, I would be in the Distortion World, being tortured by... well, you know," Shadow said, a pained look on his muzzle. Asriel smiled, placing a paw on his elbow (the highest spot he could reach comfortably. "I'm glad to see you here," Asriel told him kindly.

"Now, come to me, my children," Arceus said, a third door appearing before Asriel, it swinging open on its own. Asriel suddenly felt incredibly nervous; he was going to stand in front of God! Brittney smiled and took his paw in his own, giving him a reassuring look. "Trust me; he is not as intimidating as his voice lets on," Brittney giggled, making Asriel smile as he nodded, squeezing her paw gently. "Well, let's go!" Josh said, smiling at them all. Nodding and, as one group, everyone walked through the door.

A huge throne room was the final destination, the floor crafted of diamond and the ceiling of gold. Asriel and his group followed a thick blue carpet up to the thrown, but it was not the only one; Asriel gasped at what he saw, almost fainting on the spot. "Come on you two; don't keep us waiting!" Latias said from her seat, a smile on her face. "Seriously; hurry up," Latios added, though a smile was on his face. "Don't just stand there like Pidove; we won't bite!" Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos almost seemed to say in perfect unison, sharing a laugh. Mew zipped to them and grabbed Asriel's paw, succeeding in dragging Asriel to them, a pout on her face. A throaty laugh came from Raquaza, the green dragon looking amused. Asriel felt intimidated by all of the looks he was getting, having to force himself not to shake as much in front the beings of legend, bowing to them all with respect.

"You all have done this world a great service, and it is time that you all were properly rewarded," Arceus told them, sitting in the middle of all the legendary pokemon, his eyes gentle as he looked down at his lieutenant. "Whatever it is you wish, I shall grant," Arceus told them all, making them look at him with gawking eyes. "A-anything?" Brandon said, looking a little giddy. "Yes, but, as you think of what you wish for, let me tell you this. I hereby grant each one of you extended life, your families as well. Though extended, know that you will join me, but not for a while," Arceus told them, getting everyone to nod. "I also will put a protection over all of you, making it to where you will not be harmed till it is your time to pass," Latias said. Asriel felt a little warmer, but it soon faded as he received the blessing of the pink dragon. "And from us, a token of fortune, to let you two live in comfort and peace," The legendary birds said, each listing a gift, making The Light Warriors bow to them in thanks. "And from me," Mew said, floating to the group, touching each of there heads gently. "I know it is not much, but Mr.WeHaveAMeetingInAMiddleOfAGame did not give me enough warning. I give each of you your dream home, built as you see fit... though I combined yours and Brittny's, Asriel," Mew told them in a high voice, getting a bow of thanks again from the Light Warriors. "And Finally my turn has come. I bless each one of you with a bright future," Rayquaza told them, nods of thanks coming from the group.

"Now, what do you all wish for?" Arceus asked, drawing their attention back to him. "May I go first?" Leirsa asked, his voice choked up as he stepped forward, getting a nod from the god pokemon. "I wish to have Zoey back. I can't imagine a life without her- she means too much for me to live alone," Lerisa told Arceus, getting him to laugh. "Little Riolu, she is still alive," Arceus told him, making Lerisa look at him with shock. "What do you mean? Her back was shattered-," Lerisa began, only to be silenced by his creator. "She is merely asleep. When you are sent back, you will see my words to be true; that is my gift to you, for what you did to your brother during his battle," Arceus told the Riolu.

Leirsa was too happy to speak, running but to Zoey's side, hugging her tight, laughing happily. Soon the rest of the Light Warriors had made their wishes, leaving Asriel, Brittney and Shadow standing there, the last standing to the side, looking overwhelmed. "Shadow, step forward," Latios said, his eyes suddenly serious. Shadow did just that, looking at the blue dragon with focused eyes. "You died an untimely death. In Kanto, a Zorua cub was born in stillbirth. I am willing to send you back to give you a true second chance at life if you are willing to accept it. I promise you a better life than the one that you lived," Latios offered to Shadow. The Zoroark was too stunned to speak, tears falling as he nodded. "I would love that. I wish for that," Shadow said, his voice cracking in rejoice. Latios nodded, Shadow's body slowly glowing brighter with light before he vanished, one last tear falling before disappearing as well.

"Asriel, Brittney; what is it that you desire?" Arceus asked the couple, making Asriel smile before he stepped forward. "Arceus, can I have you as a direct witness to what I wish to do?" Asriel asked his god, getting a smile and a nod. Asriel turned back to Brittney and took her paw in his... before getting down on one knee, a gasp coming from Brittney.

"Brittney, my love. There is so much I can say, but I have no way to say it. We have been together for only a year, but I love you with every part of my being. I love making you smile, to see you happy. I love being by your side and I wish to be at your side from now to the end of our time on earth and to be with you here in the Hall. You mean the world to me, and I would gladly trade it for you and your love. I may have no ring on me, but I must know. Brittney Blackwood, will you marry me?" Asriel asked, making the Braixen start to cry. "Asriel... yes, I will," Brittney said, sobbing happily before Asriel lept up, wrapping her in an embrace of true love, nuzzling her and placing a kiss on her lips.

"Brittney, what is it that you wish for?" Arceus asked the last Light Warrior. "I don't know what I want... I already have everything that I want... except for..." Brittney began, blushing a little before looking at Asriel. "If you, Asriel Asphodel agree... I wish to have a pup with you," Brittney told everyone, making Asriel blush neon. 'A pup... with Brittney?' Asriel thought to himself, a smile spreading on his muzzle at the thought. "I would love to," Asriel told her happily, holding her close and kissing her deeply. Brittney got a cheer from all the female legendaries, each one rushing to her side, whisking her away from Asriel.

"In honor of your wish Asriel, it is only fair I allow you have your wedding up here in the hall. Leave the details to us; we will not disappoint! Does a month from now sound good?" Latios told the leader of the LIght warriors, getting a nod from the newlyweds.

"Oh, Asriel, did you forget about something?" Arceus said, confusing Asriel as he looked up at God. "What are you talking about?" Asriel asked. "Graduation?" Arceus said slowly. When Arceus said that, Asriel immediately began to freak out, becoming worried about the biggest day (well, second biggest), of his life. "Rest assured. Right now, each one of you is asleep in your respective beds, sleeping peacefully. I do look forward to seeing you all again," Arceus told them. Just like that, Asriel's vision began to flicker as he gave one last smile to Brittney, getting her to smile back before everything faded to black.
