A dead love reunited
Asriel watched as Brittney's parents drove away from there home, giving him the opportunity that he needed. Nodding to Nightmare, Asriel crossed the street and entered the back yard through the gate, glad to know her parents always kept it unlocked. 'I hope I am not too late,' Asriel thought to himself, rushing to Brittney's resting place and removing the flowers that were placed on the grave. He started to chant, reviewing all the magic his aunt had taught him over the past three days, having to push himself as he was using earth magic, not water. Soon, the dirt started to ripple, flowing like water to the side as, ever so slowly, Brittney's casket rose from the ground, reminding Asriel of a vampires rising suddenly. Shaking off the thought, Asriel ended his magic, feeling drained as he opened Brittney's casket. Asriel smiled as he saw her sleeping form, a look of peace on her face.
Suddenly, Nightmare gave a loud whistle, signaling Brittney's parents were back. Asriel placed his paw in Brittney's, closing his eyes as he reached within himself, calling upon Brittney to come back. He heard a outraged yell, a blast of heat racing to him, no doubt a flamethrower. Asriel screamed in pain when the fire came into contact with his back, but refused to give in to the pain, shouting mentally for Brittney to come back. A surge of energy left Asriel, making him wobbly on his knees; the drain of energy and the pain made him fall to the ground, fading in and out of consciousness. He felt a warm touch to his cheek, a distant voice distorted as he was knocked out.
Asriel could only moan in pain as he struggled to move, just able to sit up. "Asriel, what are you doing here?" Asriel heard a voice ask, one he had heard before. "Arceus?" Asriel asked, looking around with confusion. "Is Brittney back?" Arceus asked, looking down at the lucario as Asriel shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know; I just woke up like this," Asriel replied, wincing at the pain in his back; he froze when he heard, just faintly, Brittney's voice, crying out to him. "Brittney!" Asriel yelled, looking around for the one he loved. Arceus smiled before telling Asriel to go back. "She needs you, more then ever now," Arceus said, touching Asriel's forehead with his. Instantly, Asriel's vision went black.
Colors flashed in Asriel's eye lids, a gurgling of voices shouting one over the other. Asriel groaned in pain as his body was shifted, getting a cry from someone as he struggled to open his eyes, his vision blurry. A red and yellow mass was above him, saying something. His vision slowly cleared, but it only went blurry again with tears. Ignoring the pain that erupted in his back, Asriel embraced his love tightly, sobbing openly in her shoulder. "Brittney..." Asriel cried, unable to let his girl go, never wanting to leave her side again. "Ssh, it is me," Brittney said, smiling to her boyfriend as they were reunited.
Asriel leaned forward and sealed there reunion with the best thing he could think of.
A kiss.
This chapter is short, that I know, but I do hope that you all enjoyed it! I literally saw this in a dream two nights ago; am I becoming Asriel or something? I hope not... but that would be AWESOME!
Also, if you have not heard of him yet, I recommend checking out Pokemonfan472 and his stories; they are, to put simply, AMAZING!!! Shout out to him as well; keep up the good work!
