Asriel huddled under his umbrella as he walked to school with Brittney to school, who had on a poncho. "Remind me why you can't just use your water magic to protect us from the rain?" Brittney asked blinking water from her eyes for the umpteenth time. "Our powers will cause a mass panic amongst the Pokemon around us or we will be forced to solve problems that are easily fixed even without magic," Asriel replied calmly.

A silence soon developed between them, both thinking about Flae. the poor Flareon was heartbroken about Nightmare, having cried pretty much the entire time they were out yesterday. Asriel understood how she felt and promised himself he would kill Suecra himself if he had to in order to get the two back together. "I wonder how Nightmare is," Asriel said, knowing that his friend had the completely wrong idea about what happened. "he was no doubt taking it harder than Flae," Brittney replied, having been told what happened yesterday after she had left. Asriel had to agree with her; Arceus knows how he would feel if he saw  Brittney Kissing someone else.

When they walked into the school, despite being protected, they were both completely soaked. "Okay, forget this," Asriel said, a little mad about being soaked to the bone as he led Brittney behind a pillar. Accessing his magic, Asriel sang lightly, slowly draining the water form both of there fur. "Thank Arceus," Brittney said, her fur fluffing out slightly when Asriel was done. "Not a problem," Asriel replied, making the water vanish with a snap.

"STUDENTS, PLEASE REPORT TO THE GYMNASIUM, the intercom said, making Asriel jump slightly in surprise. "Today is the final round of the talent show," Orron replied, having walked over to them when Asriel asked Brittney why. "Really? who are the last two?" Asriel asked, knowing they were out due to lack of attendance. "Justin's band and Nightmare with his friends," Orron replied as they headed to the gym. "Wait, he is still competing?" Brittney asked, surprised; looks like Asriel and her were wrong. "yeah, it surprised me too when I found out. He looks like a wreck, no offense to him," Orron replied.

Asriel was not happy to see Justin on the stage, thinking Nightmare instantly got his vote. As they took a seat, Flae, Josh and Brandon joined them, with Flae looking her normal self, but Asriel instantly saw through her just by her aura. "Did you hear that Nightmare is still competing?" Brittney asked Flae, who nodded, taking a ragged breath. "I got this from him," Flae replied, handing Asriel a folded sheet of paper. "Sorry," was all the note said, written in a fashion only Nightmare was capable of.

The lights began to darken, making the audience quiet down as the principal took his place at the podium. "Welcome to the final round of this years Talen Show!" First to perform of the remaining two, the Shadow Hunters (I am too lazy to bother with looking up the real name :/)!" he said as the curtains drew back, he soon leaving the stage. Asriel was surprised to see a female Luxray with him, looking at Justin with a smile that could only be described as loving.

As soon as the song began, Asriel as Brandon stand up and cheer, Josh joining him. "It's our song!" Josh quickly explained. The female Luxray, Lorren Asriel realized, started to sing.

To Asriel's shock, the background of the stage rippled to reveal a bank, their clothes changing to that of bank robbers.

Justin: Everybody freeze,

Empty out the vault and me and my doll will be on our way,

Lorren: Our paper faces flood the streets,

Justin: And if the heat comes close enough to burn then we'll play with fire 'cause...

Asriel joined the crowd to gasp when Justin's entrie body caught on fire suddenly, but kept calm when Lorren kept singing.

Lorren looked like she was freaking out, the backgrfound behind them turning into a blank wall.  

Justin: he's got us pinned

Justin looked like his mind was on overdrive, his body not on fire now as he looked around the blank room.

Lorren: Baby, I'm a little scared

Justin: Now, don't you quit

Lorren: He's sounded the alarm,

I hear the sirens closing in,

Justin placed his paws on Lorrens shoulders, seeming calm despite chapter was close by. He looked like he was reminding Lorren of there achievements.

With the background changing yet again, Justina and Lorren were soon surrounded by the other Shadow Warriors dressed like S.W.A.T team members. Justin and Lorren stood back to back, looking like they were excited.

When the song finished, they were meet by monstrous applause, a few cheers coming from the crowd. After a few minutes of waiting, the principal got back at the podium. "For our last act of the talent show, please give a warm welcome to Nightmare and the Darkness Within!" he said as the curtains reviled Nightmare and his band. Like Orron said, Nightmare looked like he hadn't slept in days as his eyes seemed to find Flae instantly; such raw emotion surged in his eyes, Asriel thought he would start crying on stage.

"H-hey guys. Before I begin, I just want to say I am sorry to the special someone I had taken so much time from. I sitll love you, even if you don't love me," Nightmare said before the music began to play. At first, Asriel thought Nightmare was going to sing a slow song, but was startled when it wenbt to death metal music. Nightmares eyes were golden as he began to sing, his eyes shifting to a light scarlet.

I'm the devil's son straight out of hell

Nightmare blinked, revealing his eyes being scarlet now. Asriel and the rest knew that Umuka had taken over.

Nighmare looked down as his friends stopped there playing, the sound echoing in the gym. At once, the gym erupted in applause, getting a full plea for an encore. "It is clear that we have a winner! Darkness Within wins!" the principal said needlessly. Asriel paid him no mind as Flae ran out of the gym. Sharing a look with Brittney, both of them raced after her, surprised to see her running to backstage.

Asriel stopped behind a corner, catching Brittney before she ran around. Nightmare had walked out from behind the stage, looking surprised when he saw Flae. "Flae..." Nightmare said, trailing off as he looked at his ex-girlfriend. "Nightmare..." Flae said, tears falling out of her eyes before she threw herself into his arms.

"I will always love you, you stupid Umbreon," Flae laughed into Nightmare's shoulder, getting Nightmare to wrap her arms around her tightly. "I love you, Flae," Nightmare hiccuped, starting to cry himself as he placed a kiss on Flae's cheek.
